AAAAH! Great shoes.
My husband says the knee pain disappeared when he started wearing these shoes. He is on concrete all day and needs cushion in the soles plus support. I am so glad I found them for him.

I have been wearing New Balance for some time. New Balance is one of the few walking shoes which I can find in a narrow width.

These may not be the most stylish shoes, but they are very, very comfortable. I work in health care, so an "all white" shoe can be difficult to find. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who is on their feet for hours a day. One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!

I don't know whether NB changed their design, but this shoe had NO arch support. If someone wanted to add custom orthotics, this shoe might work well.

I waited quite a while before ordering this clutch, because I couldn't imagine what it would feel like. Well, surprise...it sort of feels like a soft, cushioned foam. Odd, but not a bad feeling. It looks dressy, but feels as if it will wipe off easily. Unlike all the patent purses out there, this one won’t show fingerprints. I think it's a perfect dressy purse...looks great, and is comfortable to carry...very flexible. If you have some black in your wardrobe, and like yellow gold jewelry, it will match just about everything! The zipper and clasp keep everything secure.

I have very wide feet and have had difficulty finding shoes to fit. The only shoes I have found better than these are Eccos. I walk 15 miles every day and wear out 4 pairs a year. I'm on my 16th pair. Gotta love 'em!

The shoes were perfect for my husband who has a very wide foot. It is often hard to find shoes that are comfortable for him but these worked out just fine.

I have some discomfort in the front of the shoes, right more than the left. It feels like there’s something between the toes and the ball of the foot. I hope this will change when they get more broken in. Also, let me add that my shoes were on my porch 1:30 P.M. the next day after ordering. I will surely recommend Zappos to my friends. With the price of gas, this is the only way to go.

This is an amazing walking shoe, especially if you have feet problems. It is stiff, however, you do not feel that aspect. Your feet will thank you. I can now finally enjoy a walk again.

Soles sound cheap when you walk on a hard surface. Also, the heels are not very comfortable. But I like the looks of the shoe.

Comfortable, simple looking... Just what I needed for clinicals. I'm on my feet most of the day and my feet never hurt like when I used to work in manufacturing with boots. I don't think you can get much better than this unless you spend an ungodly amount of money.

New balance shoes are great.
I ordered these shoes for my husband who has a very large foot. Size 15. Zappos had his size in stock. He wears these shoes to work. He says that they fit him perfectly and give his feet support even if he wears them all day. He will buy these shoes again. Zappos delivered them as promised and they came almost immediately.

Excellent fit, and very comfortable from the first time I wore them. I've had several pairs of New Balance trainers, but these were the first walking shoes I've tried. When it becomes necessary to replace these, it will be with the same or similar shoes.

Shoes are just a bit tight - in order to use any kind of inserts, I will probably have to wear very thin socks.

This is NOT a "new and improved" model!
I used to wear MW575 before it was discontinued. They were always so comfortable. Then I tried these MW576's. Immediately, my Achilles tendonitis and heel spurs returned after 2 days of wearing this shoe. It is chunkier and heavier than the MW575 and has an unattractive rounded toe.

Why is "New and Improved" never improved?
I know these designers have to justify their jobs, but why do they have to take perfectly good designs and screw them up? An excellent MW 810 was turned into an uncomfortable 811; now a very good MW 575 becomes a heavy, clunky 576. Why can't they leave well enough alone?? PS: The 570 series runs short so the arch is out of place when you have to order the next half size up.

Comfortable Walker -
Truthfully, I was very disappointed that my old favorite Brooks Walker was not available, and, thus, I was a bit nervous about trying, for me, an unknown shoe. At first, this shoe was a bit stiff, but, after a day of walking, the shoe has broken in very nicely without any painful pinching or blisters. I was able to walk a long day through a big convention center without any inconvenience, and the shoes seemed to help keep my back and legs from feeling achy and stiff -- an important consideration when one is over fifty and is walking on concrete floors and lugging a heavy bag all day. All-in-all, it's a decent and comfortable walking shoe for the price. I knocked it down one star in appearance as I don't care for flashy details like silver or white trim or names or letters on my footwear -- even small ones. I wish they made this shoe more plainly AND in a nice espresso brown leather, then I'd buy a second pair.

Good, solid shoe -
This is a made-in-USA shoe for USA-type men... plenty of room and a solid feel. It is a stiff and heavy shoe which makes it more suited to general walking than for the Nordic Walking that I love, but for doing chores, going to the movies, and general good wear, this is a great shoe. For exercise, choose another shoe.

New Shoe Tryout -
I saw this was a new model so I decided to try it out. I've only had them three days but so far so good. Very comfortable all day long. I normally wear a shoe insert but decided to try without for a few days. I tried the inserts for a little but the shoe felt a tad shallow for them, but we'll see as they break in.
