I took these shoes right out of the box and put them on and wore them to work. NO break in necessary. They are comfortable.

A shoe for all occasions -
This has been a very versatile shoe for me. I like slip-on sandals (no back), but I need to feel support; because of where the shoe holds my foot, it's supported. The leather is a bit stiff; however, it doesn't "cut" my foot anywhere so the stiffness is not a big issue--I think they'll soften-up with use. I've worn these shoes with jeans, and with the buckle to dress it up, I've also worn them with a nice dress and dressy pants. They look sexy, feel comfortable (and supportive), and the heel is a good height for me--I don't wear very high heels but do like some height.

These shoes are so comfortable!
I ordered these in the snake skin. They were a little expensive for me but well worth it. You can not tell by looking at them that they have a soft sole, which makes them very comfortable. I wear a size 12 so it is hard to find cute shoes that feel comfortable. These are great and I was thinking of buying them in black too. Being a size 12 I have found that Vaneli shoes are usually the best fit and made really well.

Cute but uncomfortable -
I usually find Vaneli shoes to be comfortable but this shoe doesn't seem to hit my arch right and feels very hard. I am keeping them because they are cute but not a shoe I plan on wearing if I am going to be on my feet much. Love that Vaneli actually comes narrow enough for me. I got a half size bigger as Vaneli runs short and it is perfect for length.

I love this sandal. I find that Vanelis tend to run a half short now. I normally wear a 9N so I ordered a 9.5AAA, as when I go up a half size they are too wide unless I can get them a size narrower. The fit is great. I ordered the alligator and the color is great. I highly recommend this sandal. I was lucky Zappos had the 9.5AAA as this size is hard to find. Zappos is great.

Great sandal - excellent value!
I was looking for a stylish, mid-heeled sandal for a European vacation and I found it in Vaneli Nefen! Since I have a slightly wide in front foot with a high instep, I would normally shy away from such a shoe; however, the adjustable straps and the stretchy material on the sides allow for proper adjustment. As a plus, they are very comfortable and stylish. Highly recommended - why pay more for a trend?!

Very cute sandal simply goes with everything... not too high a heel but enough to make it seem dressier if need be. I ordered the wide and it is also adjustable so easy to fit to my feet. They stay on well. I ordered a half size larger due to other reviews and they were right.

Vaneli's are always comfortable and stylish -
I have several pairs of Vaneli's and have never been disappointed. Their fit is usually perfect and styles are up to date. I won't wear extreme high heels and can always find reasonable height heels.

This is a beautiful sandal. I was very pleased with my purchase. Although I have purchased more comfortable sandals in the past, they will still work for style. I don't think I could walk all day in them, because the heel tends to hurt a bit. Overall I think these are a good choice for building a shoe wardrobe.

Great Shoes -
The sandals are awesome; they look great on and off. I would have bought the black, but them out of my size. So I got the Oyster and they look good. I finally found a sandal that fits, even though I had to put the strap in the last hole. Please carry more AAA or AAAA in Vaneli shoes, especially sandals.

Love these shoes! I am on my feet all day and can wear them with no problem! I have large wide feet too! Believe it or not, there is even arch support, surprising for a sandal.

Very cute and stylish!
I saw these shoes in the New York Times and tore out the picture. Came to Zappos to see if they were here. Read the reviews and took a chance. Was not disappointed. Cute and stylish and fit very well. Pretty comfortable for a very cute shoe. Would not wear them for a multi- mile kind of walk but would wear for an evening and to work.

Love this shoe!
I was a little worried when I ordered them that they might be prone to slipping off my foot, as most shoes with that style do, but these are good. Both straps are adjustable, plus the upper one has just a bit of elastic on the inside to give it a really good fit. I was worried that they didn't seem as cushy as some other shoes, but the arch support is good, and they are very comfortable. I got the oyster alligator color, and they are just the perfect mix of subdued enough for work, but with a bit of a "wild" pattern too to wear socially. 8.5N was very true to size.

As always with Vaneli, I sized up a 1/2 size from my usual 7.5 Wide to an 8 Wide, so the sandal fit fine in length. The Nefen has adjustable straps, and that turned out to be a good thing. I needed to open the straps to the last hole for them to be comfortable width-wise on me. They are very nice-looking and I think they'll go with many things in my summer wardrobe.

Once again, I am sold on the customer service and selection available from Zappos. The Vaneli sandals I ordered have become my favorite "work" shoe. They are comfortable and stylish. I ordered the neutral color and am pleased that it works well with most of my wardrobe.

Zappos Vaneli Shoes -
This Vaneli shoe is very attractive and quality is excellent. I feel Italian shoes run smaller. One of things I like about this brand is they come in larger sizes and in narrow. I have other styles of this brand. However, I find them a little pricey. Zappos offers terrific service.

Stylish shoe -
I purchased this shoe in two colors, the Black Alligator and the Oyster alligator. I love this shoe! However, the Oyster is much more comfortable and lasted for a whole night of dancing and a day at the mall. The black is not quite as supple, I'm hoping that they will soften up and be more comfortable the next time I wear them!!! It is wonderful to find a stylish comfortable shoe for my Narrow feet! I have had 4 people stop me and ask where I bought this shoe, and I've only worn it 3 times. Of course I sing Zappos praises to everyone!

Great shoe, great price and so comfortable! This shoe is true to size. I wear a 10.5 B and it fits perfectly, and makes my feet look small. Vaneli is one of my favorite shoe designers. I have not purchased a pair that didn't fit well. Thanks Zappos for excellent customer service!

I received these shoes yesterday and was quite impressed. I had selected some other sandals in place of these, but decided to order these anyway (in case the others didn't work). Surprisingly, these were my first pick and the others I'm sending back! This shoe is cute, comfortable and does not slip off your feet. It's versatile and can be dressed up or down. Very cute shoe, it's a basic summer must have!

Great shoe.
Great arches for such a cute shoe. I was a little concerned being the 1st to buy it without any reviews but I've had it on all day and it's great. The straps are adjustable so if you have a wider foot, these are great. Cute shoes for grey and brown pants.
