This brand of jeans is well worth the extra money. The fabrics NYDJ uses wash well and fit nicely. They are the most comfortable jeans that I have worn. I am 5 feet 4 inches, but I have a longer torso. I order the regular length and then alter the length, usually to 3 inches shorter. Then the jeans and slacks fit just fine. My suggestion to the company would be to make a regular size with a shorter length. There must be other gals like me.

Where have these jeans been all my life? I ordered them despite thinking, "I really can't afford these," and they are among my best clothing purchases ever. Very flattering. I had to cut off about a foot of the length, because I'm short, but then I always do. I ordered a size 4, smaller than my usual 6, which was recommended by other women, and even washing them in hot water, they fit great.

Very nice comfortable jeans. I think I could have worn a size 12, but I like my jeans a little loose. I really love the NYDJ because I am older & they lift up what needs lifting.

NYDJ uses quality materials and good workmanship, and the design does great things for my figure. My daughter recommended them to me; and I recommend them to any woman of "a certain age" who has not given up on jeans (and no one should do that!). There are a lot of cheaper jeans available, but these are worth their price.

Since I\'m not in my teens, twenties, thirtys or even fortys and have a long torso to boot I find the current pants styles horrible! Any chance I get I complain to the sales people in the hopes that someone listens and starts making pants that fit WOMEN. These jeans thankfully had a long enough crotch that I didn\'t feel like the pants were going to fall off and I didn\'t expose my tummy when I lifted my arms. My only complaint is the price - why should we have to pay more for a modest fit?

I was at first hesitant because of the price, but as soon as I tried them on, I was amazed at how well they fit! These jeans are the first ones I've ever had that didn't pucker at the waist or crotch. There is enough stretch in them to move well in them, yet they still remain blue without the whiteness of other stretch jeans. The rise is perfect as well, no tummy roll and not way above my navel, either. These jeans are well worth the money!

I'm really sitting on the fence about these. On the one hand, my small bum is lifted and my already thin thighs look tight. They are very comfortable and cute. However, I'm not sure about the tummy. I am a size 4 in most clothes, sometimes a 6 in trendy jeans. The size 2 is perfect, but there seems be be more material than necessary, especially when I sit down. I feel like the tummy is no longer held in, but emphasized, as another reviewer mentioned. So, I'm not sure whether they are more "They ARE your Mother's Jeans," rather than NYDJs. Ditto for the other two styles I have. I'll keep looking for the perfect jean and I'll wear these, however maybe they would be better in the winter with sweaters, etc., instead of cotton tees that seem to cling to the extra mid section material.

Typical of a lot of women my age (65), my figure has become all gut, no butt. These are the first jeans that actually hug my rear while slimming me in front. I’m fairly tall (5’-7") so the leg length was perfect. I am glad that I took reviewers’ advice to order a size down. They fit perfectly and truly flatter my less than perfect figure. After trying on the first pair I ordered, I was quickly back online to order a second pair. I will never wear any other brand of jeans.

These are the best jeans I have ever owned. My 76 year old Mother saw mine and wants a pair! They are a bit long but still worth a trip to the tailor for a quick hem. I plan to buy several pair and toss out all my old jeans!

A little longer than I need -
LOVE these jeans. This is my third pair, and won't buy any other brand. The jeans are nice and long, so look great with heels and wedges. I may buy another pair and hem them so I can wear them with flats. (Might try the shorter length that NYDJ sells.) I am 5'7" and bought a size 12.

Not very fashion forward -
The material is very comfortable and stretchy. I normally wear 4s and 6s in pants, so I ordered a size 4 in these pants, which turned out to be the right size for me. I am a normal weight woman who works out regularly, with a little bit of a "mom" tummy, so I was hopeful that the jeans would provide that little bit of help needed for a "flat" tummy. I was disappointed overall in the way the jeans looked on me. The waist is very high and that, along with the stretchy material seemed to emphasize, rather than reduce, my problem areas. I am almost 40 and I thought the jeans looked to "old" for me.

These jeans are PERFECT. They make me look thin. They are the only jeans that I would dare order online. They run just a touch big, so always order toward the small size. (If you fit between a 10 and 12, go for the 10. You won't be sorry!). LOVE the super fast shipping.

I wasn't that impressed with the fit. I would definitely order one size smaller if I was going to purchase another pair. They are also very long, even with high heels.

Leg length is great for me (5'8"). Thigh area is perfect, but the rise is a bit long with a waist band which is a bit too big making it necessary to wear a belt. Decided to keep them because it is difficult to find jeans to fit muscular thighs without being baggy.

The Best Jeans Ever!
These are so comfortable that you can wear them on a plane or sitting all day. They look nice on and wash well. What more could you ask for. They are quite long (which is actually good since most jeans are too short for me but these I actually have to hem). These are the 33" inseam size. I have told several friends about them and they've already purchased them and love them too.

My husband purchased a D&B black Florentine vachetta leather bag for me for Christmas and wanted to get me the D&B wallet for Valentine's Day. After spending a couple of hours over the weekend looking for the style and color I wanted in two popular retail stores and not finding it, I convinced him to let me purchase the wallet through Zappos. I ordered it in the evening on 2/16 and had it in my hand the evening on 2/17. The wallet is beautiful. I wanted a red one since I like to be able to see my things inside my bag and the vachetta leather is gorgeous. As always, Zappos is AWESOME!

I love these jeans because they have enough stretch in the waistband that I can sit all day and be comfortable. The only slight drawback of having so much stretch is that they tend to get a little baggy after wearing a few hours. This is not a big issue for me as I don't like skin tight jeans anyway, but I know some do. For me, the comfort factor is more important and these are very comfortable jeans.

They're worth it!
I've never spent this much money on a pair of jeans before (they actually cost more than my wedding dress did...40 years ago!) But I love them and will probably buy another pair. They are very comfortable and look great on. I did take others advice and bought one size down..and they fit perfectly. I am 5 feet 9 inches and I always buy "tall". These are actually longer than my other jeans!

The other shoes came the day after that. Sadly, none of them fit, and I had to return them all. Yesterday, I notified you of the return, printed out my FREE return shipping labels, and ordered one style in a different size.
