They look great but fall apart easily -
I've had these boots for about two months now and right out of the box they were very tight around the calf, even after loosening the straps at the top, and so it took a few "wears" for the leather to loosen and for the boots to fit properly. BUT, they looked amazing and I was getting compliments every day. In terms of comfort, not bad, but what one reviewer mentioned about support is totally true - there is none. Not great for walking around in Chicago. About a week ago, the lining in one of the boots started to peel and the gel pack burst leaving my sock feeling sticky and gross. I ended up having to remove the rest of the lining due to the gel pack bursting. I replaced the lining with a gel insert and it's actually a lot more comfortable that the boot originally was. I continue to wear the boots but there is now some fraying around the opening of the boot and part of the lining on the inside close to my ankle is now coming apart. It's really too bad because they really do look great. I just don't think they're worth the money.

Great boots... if you give them a chance -
Man I read all the reviews and I can’t believe what I was reading! At first I was disappointed because the gel insert is not what I thought, I thought it would be squishy and soft, but it's hard. And as the day went on my heels had a little soreness, but nothing too bad, the rest of the boot fit very well across the toes and everything. Quite comfy and snug! The next day I gave my feet a break to recoup (didn't even take the whole day) and the day after that I wore them again and they were comfy! Plus I've gotten lots of compliments on them by a verity of people. I think the people who said it was cheaply made may have got a bad batch because mine looked great! My advice is massage out those gritty deposits in your heels and ball of your foot (they build up over time, some people don't even know they are there), and the shoes will keep your foot healthy while looking great! What more can you ask for?

The boot has a cushioned heel, though no other support. I have narrow feet and the boots are extremely uncomfortable across the width of my foot while the heel cup feels over sized. I put a heel support in and it did help. They look great and the quality is excellent, it just happens that they are not true to their name...

Fitzwell's Macey Boot -
Generally this is a very attractive boot with no durability what so ever. My second time wearing them buckles and bits of leather started breaking. A while later the zipper jammed on me and I spent 20 minutes trying to fix it. They now sit in the back of my closet...

Poorly made boots -
I took one look at these boots and knew I would send them back. From far away, they look cute, but the leather seems cheap and the stitching looked like it would fall apart. Also, one of the decorative straps was too loose (although perhaps you could punch another hole in it to tighten the strap).

Looks cheap -
I returned the boots because the stitching and leather both look cheap. Also, the heel felt like it was made of plastic. One of the straps was loose, although I probably could have poked another hole to tighten it.

Nice shoe for the price -
I wear a 12 and the calf is just right for a skinnier leg. I made holes in the buckle straps for a more snug fit. They don't offer much of a cushion so I added gel inserts and they are much more comfortable.

I've gotten a lot of compliments on these boots. They aren't the most comfortable boots ever, but they are much better than heels!

Boots -
I was disappointed when these boots arrived. They were cheaply made. The decorative strap on one of the boots was much looser than the strap on the other. However, they seemed fairly comfortable and I needed boots immediately for a function I wanted to attend, so I kept them. As the day went on, I found them to be uncomfortable. They are cute and the design is neat, but they need better quality control and more comfortable insoles. I am going to try them with a soft footbed and see if they are more comfortable.

Cute boot, but bad fit -
Cute boot, but they don't fit well and aren't comfortable. I think I have an average size calf, but these were so tight. I was hoping for a riding boot I could tuck jeans into, but that was just not happening with these. At the same time I ordered a pair of Soffts and those puppies are staying with more for a looong time! They're "ta die foa"!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Sofft!!!

This is a great boot as far as look and comfort. The gel padding in the heel feels amazing but I found it to be much larger than I was expecting. The toe box is very roomy - it feels a full size larger than labeled. Consider ordering a size smaller. I'm returning my size 10 for a 9 or 9 1/2.

Calf too narrow -
These are the second Fitzwell boots I've tried. The first had ridiculously narrow calves, these were just simply too tight. I have very average calves, if not thinner than average. These would only fit those with legs like sticks. The zipper on this pair also really stuck. These are my last Fitzwell attempts.

black Crocs for my husband's birthday (which is TODAY). Late YESTERDAY afternoon, I realized that I wasn't going to be successful in finding his size at my local stores and decided to order a pair from you; after all, I had received awesome customer service last year when I had ordered several pairs of shoes for Christmas. Anyhow, I ordered his shoes on your web site, fully expecting to receive them (maybe) sometime early next week. So, this afternoon, I had just finished wrapping up the email receipt to give to him when, lo and behold, Mr. UPS arrives at my door with none other than a ZAPPOS BOX!!! Now that is what I call customer service! How in the world you guys delivered in less than 24 hours is beyond me, but I just have to say that you made my day, and my husband's birthday. So thank you!!!
