The shoe is simple and attractive, good for day or night activities but it cut painfully into the top of my foot where the cut out is straight rather than the traditional curve. I liked the visual appearance of the shoe but pain is not one of my strengths so back they go. I AM exchanging them for the David Tate "supreme" which is essentially the same shoe with the curved cutout by the toes. I’ll write a review on the new ones when they arrive...

Great option for those with shorter legs and/or wider calves! Trust the posted measurements on this one: I have 16 3/4" calves and I had no problem fitting my calves into the size 6 and I even had room to tuck skinny jeans into the boots (for a snug fit). Definitely go a size down: I’m a size 7 1/2, but the size 6 is room-y enough in the footbed for thick socks. Also, the shorter shaft height means no rubbing and pinching behind my knees. As always, Zappos is AWESOME and I received my boots two days after I ordered them, all without paying for shipping. Thanks so much! I look forward to enjoying these boots for a long time.

Awesome Turf Shoe -
This turf shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I have been playing slow-pitch softball for 16 years and this is the best shoe I have ever worn. All around comfort, turf cleats grip the dirt and even the grass.

 |  | I want to thank you for your compassion!!! I explained, I think to all the employees, my situation about having lupus, and a car accident with a broken back, but still needing shoes. They have been all heart! You have picked the best people to work for you. I do not know if you realize it but because I have trouble finding shoes I feel like I know everyone. They are the greatest employees and an asset to Zappos. They really do care! Most people today just want to place their 8 hours punch in and out, get home, and forget their job. I truly feel these people at Zappos are the very best that any company can have as employees. Trump, eat your heart out – these people may not be rich, but where it counts, rich at heart. I truly respect them for them taking their time with me. Most of all, I pray you realize you have the crème of the crop working for you! Congratulations for such great people who do not just go to work for a check but because they care about the people they help. Like me!!! Who knows if I will ever walk again but, I can say they gave me the hope that I may and can walk if I try, especially with my new shoes. Thank you Zappos for the best service anyone can ask for!
