Once you wear rifts you'll never wear anything else -
Proud owner of 20+ rifts. I cleared out my closet of all other 'types' of shoes. Only wear heels when I have to wear a dress. Rifts ensure I will have happy feet and a healthy back in 40 yrs. Stylish, funky and very, very comfortable. The canvas fabric is NOT as comfortable -- doesn't stretch. The stretch fabrics are by far the best RIFT material. Leather is great too but not for Animal lovers.

Most Amazing Shoe!!!!
I've owned several pairs of these since 2002. I occasionally use them for working out (when I'm just doing some light cardio on the elliptical and some light strength training on machines). I mostly use them for running around town and traveling. They are light, comfortable, and stylish. Emphasis on the COMFORTABLE! It feels as though I'm not wearing a shoe. I often use them to roam around Disneyland for the day, and never have an issue. I whole-heartedly recommend Nike Air Rift.

Best shoe for walking distances. I wore these shoes all over Paris and they supported my foot and ankle.

I love the Air Rift and have been looking for a pair that is like my two year old pair. Many of the new styles Nike makes of the Rift are canvas and don't stretch or fit like older styles. The dust/black/hot pink style is great. It seemed that there were a few flaws in the production of the shoe, but this is Nike's fault, not Zappos. Zappos had these delivered to me the day after I ordered them. Amazing!

Weird but it works -
These shoes are a little weird looking, but are very comfortable. The split toe takes a little getting used to, but is actually quite comfortable. This shoes is very light weight, and provides ample support for the 3 to 4 mile walks that I take daily with my dogs.

These shoes are the best. I just now received my 5th pair. After three (3) foot surgeries and living in FL flip-flop mecca, these shoes are heaven sent. I wear them everyday and am stopped each and every time I wear them. People want to know where to buy them. I tell them Zappos of course. Zappos service is excellent. My only complaint is - We need more colors of Air Rifts!!

The Nike Air Rifts are amazing. I tried to order a second pair but Zappos ran out of my size in every color. I am a trainer at a country club and get compliments on them from everyone. People in public ask me where I got them. My only complaint is having to wait so long for them to become available again. Service is amazing as usual...Zappos is the 1st place I go when looking for shoes. I have shared this website with loads of people. MORE AIR RIFTS PLEASE.

Really awesome -
I had to get new shoes for work (where I am on my feet for 5 or 6 hours strait usually) and I chose these wonderful shoes! They are extremely comfy and look amazing! I got the checkered ones and they are quirky and fun...my favorite sneakers by far!

Quirky yet cool! I love my black and white checked Nikes. The split toe seems to give foot placement stability. My feet do not slide from side to side when moving. These shoes feel like house slippers they are so comfy. I wear a lady’s 10B but had to return them for an 11B. Add more colors Please?!!

60 years of problem feet -
I have spent probably thousands of dollars on shoes that didn't work out. I was skeptical of these Nikes but they have much more support for pronation than I expected. They fit perfectly at a half size larger than normal. I not only have weird feet but also scoliosis so walking shoes are very important and difficult to purchase. I love these!

Just ordered between 5:00-7:00 Thursday night & the shoes were in my hands by 4:00 Friday night--and I didn't order overnight shipping! As the previous reviews suggested, I went a 1/2 size up (have a pair of size 7.5 Shox & ordered an 8 in these). I was nervous about the strap rubbing on the top of my foot and not having arch support but I wore these for around 2 hours while packing up my apt in regular sock not split toe socks & they were pretty comfy! If I had the $, I'd order another pair!

Amazingly comfortable -
I just received these today, and have now ordered a second pair, that's how good they are.
OK, so the split toe visually looks a little weird--one thinks of "cloven hoofs"--but the fact is that these are incredibly comfortable and easy to walk in. They definitely run a half-size small, so if you're a half-size, order up. The arch support, fit, and adjustable cross and heel straps are exceptional, as is the light weight and sleek look on the foot. I never order two pairs of shoes at once, but wanted to be sure I would have these for a long time to come. These will be great to work out in, without socks, in the spring and summer.

Happy feet from Texas!
I have very sensitive feet and have struggled with finding a good looking, extremely foot friendly, superbly comfortable casual shoe. Hark! I have found my "shoe prince" in the Air Rift.
I was leery of the split toe as I cannot tolerate a flip flop but, but let me tell you, my toes actually feel more comfortable with the split! The separation gives your foot a more balanced feel, crazy but true.
The only suggestion I have: I wish the foot bed was made out of a more absorbent material. It feels too "plasticky". A sueded footbed would perfect this dream shoe.
Don't hesitate; go for your first pair! I'm ordering my second pair today!

Rifts Rock!
I became addicted to Rifts a few years ago. They are incredibly comfortable and stylish. I am 43 and my "cool factor" goes up a few notches when I wear mine. I have a narrow foot and am able to wear these as they adjust in several places. If you have worn Nikes before, I recommend ordering your normal Nike size as they usually run short. I am happy to see Zappos carrying Nike now, especially the Rifts.

Air Rift Comfort -
I've been an Air Rift fan for years, but for awhile had a very difficulty time finding them, especially in a size 12. These shoes have excellent arch support. I find some of the Air Rift colors/patterns a bit much for my conservative taste, but these are perfect. I am concerned about dirt showing, but one reviewer has commented that they wash well, so I am a bit relieved. And of course, with Zappos, they arrived the day after ordering.

I feel a need to share with everyone how great this shoe is!! I have 4 pair of Nike Air Rift shoes. I do not like flip flops, can't wear anything between the toes, but was convinced to try this on. It is the only shoe I wear. The split does not touch between the toe. I had fallen arches and could hardly walk. I bought these shoes and wore them everyday, and YES, my plantar fasciitis was gone!! The elastic expands as your foot swells throughout the day. The fabric between the toes allows air to filter into the shoe for healthier feet. They wash very well also. This is the best shoe I have ever worn!!

Awesome shoe!!!!!!
Just got these! Super fast-ordered Sat evening, on my porch Monday afternoon-standard shipping. Gotta love Zappos! Bought these shoes for 10 day Spring Break Disneyland/Santa Barbara walking vacation. I wanted something fun, comfortable and looks good with sporty skirts and dresses. This totally fits the bill. They are more streamlined and less chunky than pictured- that's good. These shoes are so comfortable and they come with a pair of split toe socks that blend with the khaki color. I plan on going sockless, but it will be nice to have an emergency pair.
The split toe is really comfy and doesn't go as far down between toes as flip flop strap. In short, these shoes TOTALLY ROCK! They are comfy, sleek, fun, and versatile, and I can't wait to take them for a major test drive at Disney. I'll just have to break them (see if any spots rub) in at home until next month and not out in the Colorado snow...I think I can wait, I think I can wait! The color is cool, too- slightly shiny almost raw silk-like fabric in soft silver blue, Thanks Zappos! I just wish site carried more colors as I definitely see a second pair in my future.
