THE PERFECT RUNNING SHOE -
I used to wear Air Triax, years ago, and loved them--but my local (NYC) retailer told me they were discontinued. After more than a decade of trying endless shoes to fill the Triax vacuum, I'm so thrilled to be reunited with them at Zappos. Shoes have TONS of padding, decent arch support, wide toe box, and narrow heel--perfect for grumpy feet like mine. I have always worn an 8 in Nike running shoes, and these are true to that form.

Finally pain free -
Over the past 6 months I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis which cause great foot pain. Upon my podiatrist recommendation, I purchased the triax+11 in hopes that some pain might be relieved. I had bought at least $800. Worth of shoes/sneakers in an effort to get just a little bit of relief. To my GREAT surprise, the triax+11 not only provided relief but also allowed me to go from a two hour day to an eight hour day free of pain. The stability and support of this sneaker is a true blessing.

Best Running Shoe for Pronators -
A year ago, in advance of running my first (and probably last) 10K, I went to a serious running store in Boulder and tried on a bunch of shoes. They videotaped me running on a treadmill and told me to buy the Triax. The salesperson said she loves them too. Best support and stability ever.

Not much has changed -
I sure wish Nike would put some energy and resources into improving the Structure Triax. I have been wearing this shoe for at least 10 years and it is the same old shoe. While other shoes get more cushion or updated technology, the Triax remains the same; great toe box, flexible sole, little cushion. The wide always comes in the same blue color combo that I am sick to death of. I rated it overall 4 because it does the job, ugly as it may be.

Nikes usually run small for me. This shoe fit true to size. It has great stability!

Good to see there weren't a lot of changes!
I started out with the Triax 10, reluctantly, because Nike had never quite fit right. I was excited when it came in a wide, specifically designed with a woman's foot in mind. Fearful that an update would take that all away, I tried the Triax 11 and was pleasantly surprised. I need light to moderate pronation control with cushioning and this shoe works well for that. My only gripe, not related to the fit, is the color. Why does blue have to be a default color for most shoes?

Good support but needs more cushioning -
I had a great experience with the Structure Triax 5 years ago, and thought these would be just as wonderful. They are good, don't get me wrong, but the balls of my feet get sore and numb after about 4-5 miles. I think this version is lighter on the cushioning. Won't buy them again.

Love the New Tirax+11 -
I am a total Nike girl. Buy a new pair of running shoes about every 8 weeks. Zappos was the only place to get the color selection. Even Nike couldn't deliver!

It's okay. I read the reviews and knew the shoe size required 1/2 size bigger. Even with the 1/2 size bigger, it was snug. It was not as great a shoe as my Saucony.

Great Shoe -
The shoe is very lightweight and comfortable. Size seems to run a 1/2 size smaller. I usually wear a size 7 but had to order a 7 1/2 to get a good fit. I ordered a wide size and the fit was great!

Uncomfortable!
I really liked the bouncy/cushiony feeling of the shoes when I first tried them on. After only a mile on the treadmill, though, my feet were aching. The sides of the shoes pressed into my feet, and the padding under the forefoot felt lumpy and badly placed. Admittedly, I have more "sensitive" feet than many, but these shoes were really bad. My feet hurt all over, and I had to end my workout early because I couldn't stand another minute in these!

Great running shoe -
I wore this shoe for a 20K practically right out of the box without any issues. I always buy a 1/2 size up with Nike running shoes and it works well. Can't wait to get the chip and wristband so I can track my runs better.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: For running, I only wear Nike's.

Nike Zoom Triax -
I am SO happy that Zappos is now carrying Nike. I always have a hard time finding shoes in my size so am thrilled to be able to get my work out shoes on Zappos. These shoes are great -- immediately very comfortable with no break-in period. I run 4-miles/day and these shoes feel great. I always buy Nike's 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size.

Great Shoe -
I have been a fan of the Saucony Hurricane 8 and 9. Decided to try a new sneaker because the reviews of the Hurricane 10 were somewhat negative. I had a hip replacement last year, pound the pavement a lot and was looking for a good walking shoe with excellent stability and cushioning. I am very pleased with the Air Zoom. Lots of room in the toe box. Took 1/2 size larger.

Nike air walking shoe -
Finally have a walking shoe that fits!
Have narrow feet and have to take second best or whatever available.
Most stores do not stock narrow running shoes. Nike air is the most comfortable shoe I've worn...Will order more.

AMAZING!
LOVE THESE SHOES! They are very bouncy, yet supportive at the same time. And they are really attractive and feminine looking. Zappos service is also excellent, and for once, I am not experiencing buyer's remorse.

Great, all-around running shoe -
This shoe has great stability and a roomy toe area that doesn't promote sliding. I have higher arches and just a slight pronate and I have found this to be one of the better running shoes I've purchased. I can wear no-show socks without the tongue rubbing and I love the different color. Would buy the Triax again!

Women's Nike Air Zoom Triax+11 -
Narrow feet are hard to fit - even more difficult in a running shoe. I have worn Nikes for years because they are a true fit for people who need a narrow width. These running shoes need little if any "breaking in" period. They always feel comfortable from day one and I find them to be a most reliable running shoe.

These shoes are the best things ever! I was having a heck of a time with some leg pain caused by my old shoes and these sneakers helped as soon as I ran in them. I also would like to note that the service was OUTSTANDING as well with Zappos. I will buy from them and recommend them in the future.

I've been trying to find the right walk/running shoe for a month. After reading the reviews on this shoe, I am pleased to say I bought them and found they have exactly the cushioning and support I need for the road, plus a few extras! Thanks writers!
