Not broken in out of the box. Kind of scratchy. I put some mink oil on them we will see. They seem very rough on parts of the inside. Feels plasticy. Hope this breaks in. Otherwise the fit is great, they look great and are supportive.

Great shoe. Bought it as an everyday shoe to wear but I could see how it would be a good trainer too. I also have the 07 version of this shoe and I have to say that the 08 is better. Very comfortable and it looks great.

Awesome fit, comfort and style for the money. I buy way too many shoes so I am trying to buy ones that are a little cheaper. I run around a car lot all day. These will get put the test.

Before this purchase, I have never ordered shoes without having tried them on, but the descriptions were so detailed that I gave it a try. The shoes fit perfectly, they look great, and I was unable to find them in local stores. I am very happy with my purchase.

Nike Air Edge (Black) - the best -
I am 42, 6' 1"+, 240LB. Lift weights, walk dogs, etc. in my cross-trainers. My previous cross trainers are various NB. These I bought mostly for every day walking around. I have never been happier with sneakers. These are the most comfortable I have ever worn period. I have foot pain and need the cushioning support.

My new favorite workout shoe!
Zappos never ceases to amaze me. Crazy, mad fast shipping! On to the shoe; Super light-weight and cushy midsole. These are perfect for the gym, so comfortable I'd wear them everywhere, but I wouldn't recommend it since the outside isn't durable enough to hold up to pavement on a consistent basis. The grey/black/volt color way reminds me of the Nike Air Trainer 1, which is such a classic and versatile color scheme. Like Nelly says "I need to pairs!" You won't be disappointed with this shoe.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Nike Zoom Spiridon(if you can find them)

These are great shoes. They look awesome and running in them is really great. The last shoes I had hurt on my arches when I ran and I can just keep running in these. The only draw back is that I have a wide foot and these had a break in period for the width, but they are good now.

I am pretty hard on these and they have held up well since I purchased them 4 weeks ago. I use them for a variety of training methods and it is nice to have 1 shoe for running on the treadmill to lifting to playing basketball. I am very pleased with these shoes.

I've looked for a black cross trainer that appealed to me for quite some time. Then I ran across this model and the search was finally over. Great fit, nice styling, and the price was right.

I ordered these shoes for my mom, who is in a nursing home and has very swollen feet and legs. Hopefully I ordered the right size.
