Great footwear. These clogs are great. Super comfort, I can wear them all day, doing a variety of different activities. They stay put on my feet, even when I'm carrying a piece of furniture and walking backwards. I look forward to getting my second pair.

These are not at all like the wonderful Ashland clog that Keen discontinued. The soles are slick on smooth surfaces when wet (like coming into a supermarket when it's raining outside), they are narrower in width and the upper is longer, which can be a problem for someone high arches. Shame on Keen for taking a big step backwards!

I purchased these clogs for my husband to wear outside while doing yard work. He was dead set against them....until the first time he wore them. Now I can't get them off of him. They are easy to slip on and off when his shoes are dirty and can't be worn in the house. They are extremely comfortable, and he just loves them. They hold up very well, and believe me they have gotten abused. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these shoes!! I am so glad that I discovered them. Thank you, Zappos for your great selection!

Awesome service -
I ordered this shoe because I had an older model which was very similar. It has been my favorite travel and leisure shoe since I bought it a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the picture on my computer was not too accurate in showing the depth of the heel and the style of the first shoe I received; it was not what I expected or wanted. Your service department was fantastic in shepherding me through the return process and the re-ordering process. The second pair was not the the correct color as shown on the website and I returned that one also with no complications, no hassles, and kind understanding from the service department. This third shoe is now the correct style and color but is at least a half size larger than the same size shoe which I am replacing. I normally would feel apprehensive to return the shoe again and would probably feel like I had to keep it even though it doesn't fit. With Zappos I know that my order will be made right and that they will be cheerful in doing so. I wouldn't think of buying from any other online shoe store!

Sole changed, still like 'em -
One of the few brands wide enough for my feet that accept orthotics. The sole is made of a lighter, less rubbery material than other Keens I've had. Can't say I like the change, but all in all still a great shoe.

Great shoes, but sizes are small. I can't wear them with the comfy insoles because they are far too tight. I wear them without so they now fit but are quite less than comfortable. They don't seem to stretch enough to accommodate the insoles. I normally wear an 11 or 12 depending on the shoe. I should have ordered a 13, not a 12.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Still love the shoes, but quite disappointed.

Keen San Antonio clog lives on!
These shoes are sooo comfortable. They are easy to slip on. The updated design with two tone leather looks great. Were glad they weren't discontinued.

Perfect for women, too -
I am a woman with a very high instep and have had 4 surgeries toe surgeries on one foot. The women's Keen clogs all hit me wrong or were too shallow in the instep. This one is perfect - comfortable and not so clunky that it looks like a man's shoe. I wear it every day. I especially love it in snow and ice. The traction is much better than my Birks and I feel more sure on my feet in bad weather.

Good basic clog.
The San Antonio is a comfortable shoe. There are a few concerns. The biggest concern is that the opening for your foot is too small and causes the back edge of the shoe to roll over when putting the shoe on. This may cause an early demise of the shoe. The shoe is a little tight top to bottom, but seems to be stretching nicely with wear. It has no ventilation, so moisture can sometimes be a problem. Overall, it is a good shoe for the money.

Men's Keen San Antonio Cog -
My husband loves Keens. He is on his feet all day and he swears by them. I ordered him all three colors in the San Antonio style. Boy were we disappointed. These are not the Keen's of old. The stitching was poorly executed on two pairs and the sole is of a new material that isn't as nice as the old soles used to be. It looks cheap and has a shiny quality that is unattractive. My husband asked me to check the box against an old one to see if they were being made somewhere else, they are that much different. He ended up with a Dansko because he couldn't stand to pay the money for the "new" Keens which are so inferior to the "old." The Keens went back.

Keen quality is slipping significantly...
Hard for me to write a negative review on a Keen product, but I have to. I own several pairs of Keen shoes going back to the Providence Clog. Comfort has always been great. The Providence Clog was top quality throughout, including the foot bed and sole. I've seen a noticeable decline in quality with subsequent shoe releases, leading up to this review. I'm hugely disappointed with the San Antonio clog. My biggest negative is the sole, which is not made of natural rubber. The only way I can describe it is to compare it with the sole you might find on a pair of cheap, throw away molded rubber boots you might find elsewhere. The sole smells horrible and outgases. As near as I can determine in my research, it is a vinyl-based sole that is used because it's cheaper. Problem is that the awful smell won't go away because the aromatic oils in the plastic continue to migrate to the surface. In addition, the footbed is not as comfortable as with previous Keen shoes I've worn. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in this noticeable decline in quality from Keen despite commanding a premium price. Last pair of Keens that I buy... in fact, I'm returning them.

A must have -
These are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Although the toe has a lot of rubber surrounding it, they are still fashionable. I will definitely own another pair at some point.
