Great Shoes - Zappos is wonderful. We ordered & returned at least 15 pairs of shoes for my very picky 11 yr old until we tried these North Face’s. He loves these shoes as they were comfortable right out of the box. They are a nice mix between sneakers and hiking shoes, plus they have webbing on the side so I think they'll be cool enough for summer wear. Have only had them for a month, so can't comment on durability, but they appear well made.

Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Keen sandals.
