Beautiful Boot made from exquisite leather, but...
These boots are gorgeous and the quality and color of blue leather is sublime. I literally cried when I had to return them because they felt at least a half to full size larger than marked and they "sagged" around my ankles and on my calves. I don't think they are meant to be a slouchy boot and believe it was because they are larger than marked. Very comfortable even though the arch support was lacking a bit and absolutely gorgeous. These would be a great choice for those with larger ankles and calves which are needed for the boot to stand on the leg properly, or order down a half or full size. I would have happily exchanged them for a lower size, but sadly, they were not available in the blue.
I do recommend this brand of shoes/boots though and have never been disappointed with the quality or styles from this maker.

I bought a pair of Frye boots that let me down. I ordered these and they're what I wanted in the first place: deep reddish color, wonderful style, and gorgeous fit. These DO fit around the ankles, I'm happy to say. Thank you, Zappos! You never fail to impress.

This boot is a 10 -
Though true to size, I ordered 1/2 size up because my size was not available after a month of checking in. I would rather own this boot, knowing that ownership means a commitment to the concurrent wearing of a hidden big fuzzy hiking sock, than not own this beautiful, comfortable boot in the absolutely stunning blue color.

BRAVO ZAPPOS!!! If there was a Nobel price for the on-line stores, I would nominate Zappos. I placed the order 8 p.m., got my boots next morning. They are fabulous - stylish and very comfy. Fit true to the size.
