I bought these shoes after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I needed a sneaker to wear on the weekend and these were on a list of recommended shoes from my podiatrist. They look great and feel good until I walk. For some reason they hurt my feet. They have good cushioning and arch support, but I've worn them twice and they cause me pain as I walk, and my pain at the end of the day is worse after wearing them. Unfortunately, I need to give them up. For PF, I find Birks or Mephistos to be much more comfortable.

Compared to the mark IV model -
Breaking in a pair of the no.5 Adistar Control went like a dream: it's as supportive and comfy as the no.4 model (which is the running shoe I use most)… the most noticeable difference is a wider midfoot. With my midfoot being slender, I am worried a bit that this model will prove to be too wide eventually in that part, but for now I can only say one word: flawless! The perfect supportive running shoe for over-pronators for regular exercise. FYI - I do 7-10 mile runs 3-4 times a week.

The Best in the market!!
This is the Running shoes that provide the solution to my flat foot condition. Having looking around the market for weeks, none of the shoes I have tried earlier on could beat this pair of shoes. The design is great, the comfort is excellent and the Pro-moderator technology in-built in the shoes is just the thing I need. This is truly the Best pair of running shoes in the market.

Theeeerrrr Grrrreeatt - I purchased 4 pairs of different running sneakers and these where the best, they fit like a glove. I'm not a big runner, 2 miles everyday, and after 2 weeks of running these feel really good.

 |  | I want to thank you for your compassion!!! I explained, I think to all the employees, my situation about having lupus, and a car accident with a broken back, but still needing shoes. They have been all heart! You have picked the best people to work for you. I do not know if you realize it but because I have trouble finding shoes I feel like I know everyone. They are the greatest employees and an asset to Zappos. They really do care! Most people today just want to place their 8 hours punch in and out, get home, and forget their job. I truly feel these people at Zappos are the very best that any company can have as employees. Trump, eat your heart out – these people may not be rich, but where it counts, rich at heart. I truly respect them for them taking their time with me. Most of all, I pray you realize you have the crème of the crop working for you! Congratulations for such great people who do not just go to work for a check but because they care about the people they help. Like me!!!
