Perfect shoe for low mileage running. Cushioning and support are excellent. The size may be a little larger than stated, as I usually buy size 10 and I had to order this shoe in size 9.5. Asics has been my running shoe of choice for years, and they are always of the highest quality. Zappos is the absolute best source for any type of shoe their prices are right and their overnight and free shipping are awesome.

Good solid shoe, perfect size -
This is a true-to-form running shoe and a solid performer. It has a comfortable sized toe box which accommodates the width of my foot. The quality of design and manufacturing are excellent. Overall, the colors used in the shoe are basic and lighter than I expected in the picture. I would recommend this shoe for men due to the shoe's roomy fit. As a trainer or entry level weekday running shoe, this shoe performs excellently.

ASICS Gel-Maverick 2 -
I used to run cross country in HS, but recently, not much running at all. General street biking mostly and some walking. This shoe is great for this, but I would highly suggest spending the extra money on running shoes if you are going to be doing any. I bought mine in grey w/ yellow accents. Very cool looking for the price and Zappos' free shipping upgrade was awesome (like 4 days early).
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Onitzuka Asics in nice colors for casual shoes with jeans.

So far so good...
This is my first pair of running shoes and I wasn't let down. I mainly chose them because of a friend’s recommendation of the ASICS brand + the price. I have been running almost daily and my feet feel brand new still. It might just be me but I'm finding that running is a lot more addictive when your feet feel good for the rest of the day! Great shoe thus far!

This shoe fits perfectly. It's comfortable and with my knee problems, it helps me walk better with reduced pain. The fabric breathes and so the shoe doesn't feel hot. I bought my first pair at a store, but they didn't have anymore. I thought of Zappos and it was a great experience. Easy order and there they were!

Dated looking but comfy -
My podiatrist recommended I wear "neutral" support athletic shoes. Asics was one of the brands he recommended. Neutral refers to the type of support your foot receives based on the way you walk.
After trying to match the shoes I tried on in various stores with those available at Zappos, I couldn't find the exact model number. There are so many listed. This one was "close" to the model number I was familiar with. While I never actually tried on this model, it matched the (low) price I was willing to pay and decided to take a chance. After all, there is a return guarantee if they didn't fit.
I was pleasantly surprised that the fit was right and the comfort was exactly what I was looking for. Also, for the price, this is a great pair of athletic shoes.
The style appears to be fairly typical for running shoes so nothing special there. But overall, I'm quite happy with the shoes and they arrived a day after ordering.
