Terrific shoe!
This shoe is awesome -- I was able to wear it right out of the box with no breaking in period. The construction of the shoe is a little bit stiff, but this doesn't affect my walking in it at all -- it bends just enough, and I actually like the stiffness because the shoe is very rugged, especially the sole. I do a lot of walking, and this shoe is great for that purpose. This shoe gives you a little bit of height too, more so than your average sneaker-type shoe. It's also very cute and funky, looks terrific with jeans, a great everyday shoe. (I got it in the black -- it comes with an extra set of laces in gray!) This seems to fit true to size and the toe box is nice and roomy. Only slight comfort issue is some rubbing on my heels, but nothing at all serious that interferes with the overall comfort of the shoe. Zappos is amazing -- I ordered these Thursday at 8:30 p.m. and received them Friday at 2 p.m.!!

This is a great shoe for just running around! Didn't take long to break in. Four stars only because there isn't much arch support. People ask me all the time where I got them!

Great shoes - I ordered the shoes and the next day received the on my door step. Standard free shipping and got them the next day! I was amazed. The shoes are great. Love the fit. Roomy but with a nice toe box. Absolutely no break in period. My first purchase on Zappos and I will definitely purchase from them again!

Great shoes - I just bought my second pair of the Ventura II. I really love them. They are a great substitute for regular tennis shoes. With both pairs, I had a little rubbing on my heels for a couple of days now they both wear perfectly. Love them and get many compliments.

This is a great casual sneaker. I am between a size 8 and an 8 1/2 and the 8 was the better fit. These run a little big.

My Green Keens -
I ordered these because I was expecting the arch to be greater. I work 8-10 hours on my feet and the arch has to be supportive for me to keep them as work shoes. However, because I like the look, I decided to keep them and search for another casual work shoe with a better arch.

I've got a few other keen shoes, so I had an idea what to expect. These shoes are roomy, well made and comfortable. I love my new keen "tennies". I was thinking of getting keen sandals and couldn't make up my mind which style when I saw the Ventura 11.

This is a great shoe! I bought these shoes for an up coming trip. Before leaving I decided to wear these as much as I can to "break" them in. To my relief and surprise, these shoes didn't require much, if any, breaking in time. The true test will be on vacation in two weeks. But so far, the Keen Ventura II are winners!!!

Arch support missing!
If you need a good arch support, this is NOT the shoe for you, no matter how cute it is. I wish it would have been more supportive because it's a really cute style. I had to return the pair I ordered because the insole is virtually flat--no support there!

I bought this shoe hoping for something comfortable to kick around in. It's very hard and does not conform to the shape of my foot. I'm returning it.

I have a hard time with sneakers. I have fat toes, narrow heels, and I need great foot support. These are my new favorites. I tried them after enjoying Keen sandals. So happy with these.

I have them on right now. They were comfortable from the minute I put them on. There is no "break in" period. I love them they are stylish and comfortable. I have happy feet.

Man, this shoe was a bummer. Adorable, yes, and definitely more comfortable than a pair of say, Converse. But still NO arch support and the stiff back had impending blister written all over it. Had to stick 'em in the box and send these beauties back.

Regrettable renovation -
I was looking forward to a new pair of Keen Ventura’s since I love my original pair. Their oversized design elements make my feet look smaller and they are so light and comfortable. But Ventura’s do not come in black, so I ordered the Ventura IIs which are much heavier and clunkier than the originals.
They still fit and are comfortable but I miss my old shoes!

Keen Bliss!
I've become a Keen devotee! I wear their shoes, sandals & sneakers. Prior to purchasing Ventura II, I have been walking around in Ventura I; I still wear those to work & keep the IIs for the weekend. I am a Certified Recreation Therapist on my feet for most of the day. I think the IIs are constructed better than the original Venturas in suede that tend to fray at the back of sneaker - the part that is just below the ankle. The IIs are reinforced at the back in that area. As far as comfort, they don't feel any different than the originals. Though they're comfortable, I think the Keen shoes I own, "Briggs" & "Mystic" sandals, are more comfortable; the insoles in the shoes & sandals are different than in the sneakers. I have very wide feet & most women's shoes are too narrow; that has never been an issue for me with Keen. I like their look & they fit well!

Great pair of sneakers!
I needed a comfortable pair of shoes for my trip to France, but I didn't want athletic tennis shoes. This pair of Keen Ventura II were awesome. They felt great from the moment I put them on and without even breaking them in. I wore them for hours at a time and they were always comfortable. I have high arches and I never had a problem with them while wearing these shoes.

I ordered a pair for myself and my daughter. I wanted a walking shoe in black that would not look orthopedic. This shoe fits the bill. I use orthotics which I placed on top of the liner of the shoe and it results in a very comfortable walking shoe. Normally, I take a 7 and a half in a sneaker to accommodate my orthotics; my regular shoe size is 6 and a half. But in this shoe, the size 8 was perfect.

What kept me from returning these was someone else's tip to replace the original insole with a thinner one. My instep is average, but these cut across the top of my foot. I tried different lacing variations to no avail. I pulled out the insole - it's thick cork - and replaced it with a thinner gel insole. Voila! Perfect. Love these shoes.

A Terrific Buying Experience -
I really love this shoe. It is comfortable and since I got it in red, I feel that it is a perfect accessory to many of my outfits. The shoe is comfortable and very well made. It also has good arch-support. I also must say that the overall experience of buying from Zappos has been terrific. I was very surprised at their quick mailing service and I think that their return policy is fantastic. Overall this has been one of the easiest and most positive online buying transactions I have ever made.

 |  | Thank you Zappos and team! I waited til the last minute to order my shoes that I needed for a wedding in less than a week. I do a lot of online shopping, so no doubt I would be ordering my shoes online. I didn't see anything I wanted the first time I went to Zappos. So, I checked different sites, saw a couple of shoes that I liked, but I needed my shoes in a matter of days. Other sites had express shipping, but it was wayyyy too expensive. So, something told me to try Zappos again to see if they had anything I liked, plus they always have free shipping and just about every time I have ordered, they have upgraded my shipping to overnight, FOR FREE! So I filtered out the different shoes, and wow, I found the Promiscuous Beautiful shoe (for shoes are dear to my heart). I went ahead and ordered, and of course, they upgraded me to next day for free. WOW! That's not the kicker though. I received my shoes, and they fit, but, they just fit. Personally, I don't like my heel to touch the back, I like to have a little room in the back. I called on Saturday, told the guy I needed my shoes by that Thursday. Don’t you know he said Zappos takes a leap of faith and exchanges without having the first shoe back. I was so impressed. So, my shoes will be here today and I am so grateful for these shoes, and Beautiful has the 4 inches I love and are no doubt, comfortable. Thanks Zappos.com.
