Great school shoe -
My son loves these and he is very particular about fit. He will not wear anything that isn't 100%comfortable. He is very active and wears them to run and play. Overall, seems like it is a good quality comfy shoe.

Great wide shoe -
My son wears a wide shoe and it is very hard to find a shoe that is wide and looks good. I was happy to find this shoe and it feels good to him.

Did not hold up as well as I would have liked -
I bought these for my 7 year old and he wore them out in a matter of months. We definitely did not get as much use out of them as I would have liked.

Thought they were cool.
Comes in wide which is a plus. My 6 yr. old calls them his basketball shoes and has worn them ever since they arrived. Very comfortable.

These are GREAT Shoes!!!!!
These shoes look and fit great! They can be worn as sneakers on gym day and still give a neat appearance. Also, my son says they are super comfortable. Worth the price!!

My son loves them and he is VERY fussy about the fit of his shoes. They look great with his casual outfits and came in a wide which is a must for him.

Great place for kids shoes -
I ordered these shoes for my son and they came immediately and fit really nice. They are good enough looking for dress shoes but will probably be his everyday ones. He loves the fact that he doesn't have to tie his shoes. I am SO excited to find Zappos.....You have the quickest, best and easiest shopping ever! Another plus is you are in my home state of KY!!!! I love doing business with you'll!

My almost 5 year old really likes these shoes. He picks them every time when given the choice. So far he has not been able to do the fastener himself, which was the main reason I picked them rather than one with laces. The strap is too short to stay in the grommet when putting on the shoe & he has trouble threading it. I'm sure he will succeed soon, but they are more difficult to do than the traditional velcro straps. If I had to choose again I would likely buy something with a more traditional velcro closure so he could feel more independent.

Great looking shoe.
Purchased this shoe for my son. He has not worn them yet, so I cannot yet comment on how they hold up to an active 8 year old. However they seem to be well made and they are very cute and stylish.

Heavy, not flexible shoes -
The shoes are not flexible throughout the foot, except for the toe area, which can bend with somewhat big effort. They feel much heavier then other shoes my son has. Also this "alternative closure" consists of rigid strap, which has very little room for adjustment, and it is not stretchy at all as you would expect from this kind of closure. Also I got the shoes in Brown, and it is not near as bright a color as the web site shows, looks quite dull and unpleasant. I am very disappointed.
