NB Wide fits like it should. This is at least the fourth or fifth pair of wide New Balance sneakers that I have purchased for my son. The fit is consistent and the shoes hold up pretty well. My son prefers a looser fit; he likes his toes to be able to wiggle freely and I encourage that!

Great running shoe for kids -
My son has a very wide foot, and we ordered both the wide and regular. The wide was way too big, though, and the regular size was wide enough for his very wide foot. He reported good cushioning, and laces all the way up to the top for better ankle support. It's a good look for a New Balance, which tends to have a dorkier look, or so he says. They come with wavy laces which are meant to stay tied, and he sometimes has a frustrating time tying them, as they don't easily slide.

Comfortable, stylish, and excellent quality -
My stepson, who has very wide foot due to recent foot surgery, loves these sneakers. It is almost impossible to find shoes, let alone sneakers, wide enough to accommodate his feet, but these sneakers are a perfect fit!
