Better than Converse! Great pair of shoes! They are made better than the Allstar Converse and don't feel thin on the sides. Also has better cushions! No more Converse for me.

Love the new kicks! Puma cuts their shoes a bit small so knowing this, I ordered a half size bigger than I normally would. I bought them for looks, not performance. Just like Chuck Taylors, there’s not a lot of arch support. Zappos.com is the BEST place to buy online! Their return policy makes it painless to return an order you’re not crazy about.

These are basically Puma’s version of Converse Chuck Taylors, even down to the fit. The biggest difference is quality. Whereas Chucks feel really thin out of the box (even the rubber elements and laces), the 917 Lo is comfortably sturdy. They actually feel a little heavier than your standard Chucks, but not so much that you’d notice once they’re on your feet. The only construction element that seems a bit rough is the stitching, which looks a bit chunkier than it needs to. Style-wise the 917 Lo hits it out of the park. The only element I’m not entirely sold on is the toe-cap, which is shaped kind of like an arrowhead. Otherwise the 917 Lo does a great job working a lot of Puma design elements into a canvas low-top. Buy these if you like wearing Chucks, but hate paying for a shoe with a 6 month shelf life.

A little much - Didn't know that each Puma swoosh on the sides were a different color. Thought each shoe would have one green and one yellow mark on each side. As it turns out, one shoe is yellow and green, the other is light blue and pink, I think. A bit much for me.

GREAT!!
I really like these shoes...the white helps the exposure of the colors...really comfy...they don’t weigh a thing...break-in when you put them on.

Awesome - Comfortable Right Out of the Box!
I love these shoes. There is absolutely zero break-in time; I wore them the entire day with out any problem. Within a few hours of wearing them, I received my first two compliments! You will not be disappointed - so cute!!

If you have fat feet don't buy this shoe. Although it may be worth the discomfort because they are so cool looking!

Beautiful shoe. Zappos did work and the shoes were delivered 3 days before I was expecting them. Amazing service. Shoes are beautiful, the colors just POP on these shoes and they stand out. Unique and sexy.

Great Summer Shoe!
Awesome shoe for the summer. Comfy. Bright. I've gotten tons of compliments on them. My one suggestion would be to order them maybe a half a size smaller than you wear. I ordered a size 12 and the shoe had plenty of extra room up by the toe.

I love, love, love these Pumas. The pictures cannot possibly do them justice. There are so many details in these shoes, from the stitching, neon stripes, super-bright eyelets, and even the shoelace tips are pink and green. A great, simple Converse low top design with quirky elements that are sure to rack up compliments. Wonderful for everyday walks, cruising around on bicycle, whatever. These were a 1AM impulse buy, and the next day they were at my door by 1PM. Absolutely enamored by my own feet whenever I have them on, and they are incredibly comfortable as well.

These pictures do not do the shoes justice! You can't see that each puma stripe is a different neon color. The left shoe is yellow on outside and green on the inside. The right shoe is blue on the outside and pink on the inside. The multicolor thing is totally awesome and I love these shoes!

These shoes are wonderful. I wear a Women’s 8.5, ordered a 7 (in men’s, 8.5 in women’s), and they are exactly what I hoped for. Not much arch support at all, but I expected them to feel somewhat like flat converse-type shoes.
They are SO much fun... and in case you can't tell from the pictures, one shoe has a yellow stripe outside, lime green inside -- the other has an electric blue stripe outside and a hot pink strip inside. Very cute!

First one!!!
So the 1st thing I should say is that these shoes arrived in less than 24 hours (from the moment I placed the order). This said, these shoes ROCK. I'm really picky about my footwear, and I find zero flaws in these shoes. Great, retro-inspired look, seriously comfortable, and just fun to look at. You'll love 'em.
