Still getting used to the strap, but finding it very comfortable. The arrangement of pockets is working very well; I travel pretty light. All in all, I'm pleased. And as usual, the shopping experience was great: I ordered a bunch of different bags and then invited a couple of friends over to give them all a look; so much more fun than going from store to store!

This is a great purse! I used it for 8 days on a trip to DC, carrying a camera, guidebook, maps, sunglasses and all the brochures you pick up at the museums. The shoulder strap is extremely comfortable and never cuts into your shoulder. It holds so much and the side flap that carries credit cards, Metro passes, money, your room key card, etc., is an excellent way to cut down on extra items in your purse. This is a fabulous purse for a trip!!

I love this bag. I was looking for something to throw all my daughter's stuff in for the day and have it be an over the shoulder bag, and this was perfect. I can fit 4 or 5 diapers, small pack of wipes, sippy cup and my wallet in the main compartment. The front flap for the keys and phone is great. It lets them be very accessible while having your hands full, you're not trying to dig to the bottom of a diaper bag to find them. I don't have to worry about the bag getting dirty or stained either because you can just take a wipe to the fabric. I would buy this bag again in a heart beat.

Best. Bag. Ever! I wanted a bag that could fit all the things I need to haul around for me and my kids. This is it AND it has room to spare! Ordering was super easy and with free shipping, what's not to like. The box was delivered before I even got the E-mail telling me it was on the way! I would definitely recommend this item and shopping with zappos.com. Great all around!

Sporty useful bag -
Just what I was looking for, something big enough I could carry my lunch and a book to work each day, but not super big.

Cute bag -
I like the size of the bag. It's roomy enough without being SOOO big. I just wish it was a little easier to access the inside pocket. I get compliments on it.

Great Bag!
I've been on the hunt for the perfect bag for quite a while and I've finally found it. As a mother of two, I need something that is light weight and has easy accessibility to my wallet and cell phone. And with the magnetic closures, it makes it real simple to grab these things in a hurry. I love the size of the bag to - great for carrying snacks for the little ones on quick trips.

The bag is a little smaller that I would like. The one thing I don't like is the shoulder strap because I keep grabbing only part of the strap, then adjustable part slides out, but I plan to stitch it to the length I want and then shouldn't have any problem. If the interior was a lighter shade of gray, it would be easier to find things at the bottom of the bag. It needs a slot for a pen and nail file and I would rather have an outside cell phone pocket so I don't need to open the flap to get to it. It is very light (a big plus for me) and very sturdy material. I think it looks pretty good for my every day bag and I am happy with it.

Keep Going Back To This One -
I love shopping for purses and bags and I always think that I am going to find the one that really works. I have bought a couple other bags since the Auburn and I keep going back to this one. It is very convenient with quick open access to the front pocket for cell phone, lip gloss etc. The inside pocket is roomy for my large wallet, sunglasses, plus carrying a small book, and water around if need be. Helpful bag when you need hands free for kids. There is an inside zip pocket that is a must for feminine products. I will be getting a pink or green color for the summer. Worth the money.

Solid bag -
Okay, this isn't the bag you would bring to a fancy restaurant, but for the day to day, it is great. The magnetic closures are fantastic - I'm never a fan of zipping, closing flaps, buttoning buttons...just don't have the time. It helps to keep me organized from coupons to cell phone to a spare diaper for the little one - and it's not so big that things get lost.

Great little bag! There is room for everything! Fabric wipes clean! My only complaint is that they went to a softer strap rather than the thicker they used to use on their bags.

I really like the bag. I may get it in other colors. I am 6' tall so I wish the strap could adjust to be 2-3 inches longer. Overall I like the organization of it. I do wish the strap was more like the material of the bag than the seatbelt type material.

I love this cross shoulder bag. There is only one thing that would make it perfect, and that is a zipper compartment big enough to fit a credit card wallet in the front section.

Overall good, but one major disappointment -
I like the size, look, color selection of this product. I do NOT like the magnetic discs that serve as the closure element for the bag. You must only keep the minimal amount in your bag in order for them to stay closed all of the time and even then they can open with any pressure. Would have preferred a more conventional closure.

Husband willing to wear this bag!
This bag is very useful. I find that it can be used as a diaper bag and husband is willing to carry it around since it doesn't look very feminine. Love the magnetic closure, but wouldn't feel comfortable putting anything of value in it

Comfortable and right size.
Bought to be a travel and everyday bag. Has a cross body bag with a lift-up flap which was awkward to use. This does the job with a drop down flap in front. I like the fleece lined phone pocket and the other pockets for small items. It will take a guide book or map in the back pocket (body side). The inside is deep enough for what I carry without having to dig deep to find things. The Laurel/Sky/Silver color is perfect. The color is close to a teal. The fit and finish is very good.

Comfortable Bag -
It was suggested to be that I no longer carry shoulder bags so I thought that this bag might be a good replacement. I was not disappointed. It can be carried across the body and I can get all of my essentials into it in an organized fashion. I am not crazy about the magnet closure at the top but it seems to keep the bag closed most of the time.

Great bag -
I dislike carrying a purse, but have to lug around enough stuff that it is usually necessary. The Overland Equipment Auburn works out really well for me. The front keeps often-used items accessible and has a key hook. The interior has enough room for a paperback book, calendar, and notebook. I like the magnets that snap shut automatically when I'm done - no messing with buckles or zippers. There's also an outside pocket big enough to stuff a magazine or a few sections of the newspaper. I've used it as a shoulder bag and an across-the-body bag, both are comfortable.

Finally I can get rid of the diaper bag!
For 6 years I have either carried a diaper bag or a huge purse with diapers shoved in it. Since my youngest is finally over that, I was ready to dig back into my HUGE purse collection, but nothing seemed right. I loved the organization of the diaper bags I had been using and my purses all seemed like black holes. Then I saw a friend of mine with her Overland bag and I knew I had to have one. I had never even heard of them before seeing hers. Wow, I just LOVE it. In fact, I ordered 2. One in black and one in green. There is so much room in this bag and the quick access magnetic snaps are the greatest. I actually have room left over... if I ever have to carry a diaper again. Boy, I hope not!

Pretty good -
I was hoping this bag would be a bit bigger to accommodate my rather hefty textbooks. Its big enough for some of my books, but just a tiny bit too narrow for a binder. Still, I like the look and its decently comfortable across my chest or over my shoulder, so I'll keep it.

Perfect bag -
I had ceased carrying a bag of any kind, finding them cumbersome and heavy, but then I found this cute one. I holds everything imaginable, is easy to carry, weighs almost nothing, and I have even attached my keys to a lanyard which I have then hooked permanently into the bag on the attached hook. I can use my keys without ever having to put my bag down, even in the car. Wonderful. I love it. And best of all, it's from Zappos, the very best place to shop on the web or anywhere else for that matter.

Auburn bag -
This is exactly what I was looking for. A handbag look that would tote all of my things. I found it in this bag. I like the weight of it (very light) and the fact that I can wear it cross-wise for hands-free shopping. My daughter wants one too!!!

Good bag, but not for me.
This is a great bag, but just isn't going to work for me. I love the organization of it, like the look (lining is great!), and it's definitely comfortable (love the thick/wide strap), but it's just not big enough for me. I never thought I carried a lot of stuff around, but I guess I do. While I was able to shove my basics into this bag, it wasn't easy to access once packed up and I didnt feel it was very secure. The large compartment has a small zippered pocket inside, but the compartment itself is closed only by magnetic button - something could fall out at a tilt or anyone could reach in and grab something, I think. If I were able to downsize my basics or feel comfortable not using a full-sized wallet, this would be a great bag. As it is, I need my stuff, so this is going back. I'm bummed about it though!

Have bag, will travel -
Just back from five days in London with this bag. I'm SO glad I bought it. The perfect cross between a purse and a messenger bag. I love the easy access to the inside of the bag. Plus, enough room for everything, excluding the kitchen sink :-) Lots of pockets and places to stash stuff. I'm definitely going to get a cheery-colored one for spring/summer jaunts. One thing though -- the tag on the bag showed a zipper on the inside flap, but mine didn't have one. A design change, perchance?

 | | Many thanks. You are an awesome outfit. I have ordered from Zappos in the past and never had customer service like this time. I've ordered 3 pairs of shoes within the past 24 hours and all have been upgraded and I shall receive them this week. You have improved your customer service 100% and I applaud you. I live in San Francisco and within a mile of a couple shoe stores. I will now do my shoe shopping with Zappos...much to my husband's chagrin! Your great service will be spread around to my friends. Again, many thanks. | | ~ Tina M., October 19 2009
