Best shoes ever - I got these shoes a few months ago and they look like new
well, almost. They held up great against grip tape. They are the perfect shoes for any true skater.

Dont plan on having these for more than a month! I had these for 2 weeks and then they got ripped to shreds! If you plan on skating these every day, then dont buy them!!! Other than that, they were a terrific shoe!

Da best -
I got these shoes in yellow and black. I have skated in them and they are extra grippy with the waffle grip. Of course they left white streaks on your grip tape, but whatever. I used these and kickflipped a MONSTER 2 Block first trie at Forest View.

TNT IIs!
First off, these shoes are great, but if you have slightly wide feet, they get weird. Ive had the TNT IIs in low and mid and if you have them for a long time or you wear them a lot, the outer side of the shoe kinda folds in when the rubber is all worn down and it makes your feet look all weird. They are great to skate, but dont plan to have them for more than 2 months if you dont have super narrow feet.

Explosion! This is a great shoe. It isn't too big or petite. It has super comfortable padding. I really like the puffed size, which is hard to find unless your ankle slips out every time you take a step.

Written Review for a Friend-
At first, this seems like a good quality shoe made by Vans, which is a VERY good quality company. I own 10+ pairs of Vans, and I have never encountered this type of problem. After a less than a month of wear, the inside of the shoe in the heel area started to come apart, and all of the stuffing fell out, revealing jagged plastic shards, that cut into the foot, causing major pain, many cuts, and a bit of bleeding. He DOES skateboard, but it probably has nothing to do with that fact, seeing as how I have the low version of the TNT II (which I got a good two months before he got these), and I skateboard, and there is not one sign of wear in the inside heel area of my shoes.
Again, I have never had this problem with any pair of Vans before, so maybe it was a fluke, because ALL other Vans shoes are A+ quality, and are some of the best skate shoes on the market.
So, to all potential buyers of the TNT II Mid, please purchase the low-top version of this shoe, much more durable and comfortable, and one of the BEST shoes on the market right now. Plus, so many better color ways! Get it before they discontinue it! :)
Hope this helps.

These shoes are insane. They skate so well, but I do agree they leave a lot of white rubber streaks when you first skate in them. The insoles in these shoes are like an inch thick, they feel so good! But yeah they tear up easily, the black line gets rubbed off in about 2 days from kick flips, and they feel a little narrow if you have a little wider feet, but overall these are some of the best Vans you could buy for skating.

Pretty sick skate shoe -
These shoes are pretty dope. I got the gold/black gator ones. They have some pretty sick hip hop style and can be work with baggy jeans to look super hip hop or tight jeans for that rocker w/ 80s basketball shoes look. They skate like Old Skools kinda, but they have a thick sole with cup insoles to keep your ankle from rolling. I haven't kick flipped any 6 sets as yet, but I was tooling around outside the shop and doing some backside grinds on the curb was pretty fun. Weird thing though: they leave huge white streaks on my griptape from the old skool sidewall. Excellent new school support in a old school looking shoe.
