Too wide for a 7 narrow -
Basic shoe but comfortable. I ordered a 7 narrow and it was way too wide, the velcro strap was adjusted as much as it could be.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I've owned - I love these shoes. They are made very well and they stay on your feet versus some flip flops. They are true to size and very comfortable.

Walking on clouds -
Thinking of picking these up in another color, as well as the dark brown... very comfortable, good arch support, adjustable band is soft and stays put... cute with shorts, jeans...long cotton skirts...leans to the sporty side on looks.

Soft and comfortable -
I have neuropathy and the bottoms of my feet require very soft and comfortable insoles. I have tried numerous pairs of shoes and these are perfect. I now have them in Black and White.

Great for wide feet -
I have had surgery on my left foot and I wasn't able to wear any of my beloved shoes because of swelling and pain. These Rockports work for me because of the wide size and the adjustable velcro strap (I can make one a bit larger because of the swelling). They are comfy but plain and the black ones make a funny swooshing sound when I walk. I have them in black and the light beige Nubuck color. The Nubuck looks like it will show spots and soil very quickly. I would go for the white also, but at the price I think two pair will get me through the summer.

Rockport's A'janae -
I love this sandal! The adjustable Velcro strap across the top of the shoe keeps this shoe "close" to your foot without all the "flopping around" other leather sandals do when the leather stretches out. I also have "long toes" and this sandal has "white space" beyond my toes without my toes hanging over the edge. Great job, Rockport! Please make more shoes with adjustable arch straps. And, Zappos provides outstanding customer service!

GREAT Shoe!
This is a comfortable, nice looking casual shoe. It's like walking on a cloud. I highly recommend it. I like them so much I'm thinking of ordering a second pair in a different color.

SOO nice for pregnant swollen, wide feet!!
Now I wish I could reevaluate the other shoes I reviewed... These shoes are heavenly. I have swollen feet from pregnancy, so I basically couldn't wear about 90% of the shoes in my closet and online. These are comfortable right out of the box. FYI, I ordered the wide size 6 b/c of the swollen issue, plus I already have wide feet to begin with. They don't seem wide to me, but then my whole foot fits the width of the shoe.

These are my first Rockports. My husband swears by them, so I thought I would give them a try. I went on vacation and I found these to be the most comfortable - even better than walking shoes.

Walking sandals -
I ordered these sandals to take on vacation anticipating a lot of outdoor, summertime walking. A friend swears by Rockports, so I decided to give them a try. I liked the look of the A'janae (I bought black) as I needed versatility as well as style and comfort. I am very happy with the sandal (haven't gone on vacation yet - am "breaking them in"). I will say, though, to potential buyers that they do seem to run wide and the size seems a little big. I have a very average foot and find that to get my feet all the way up to the thong; I have to loosen the strap. When I tighten the strap, my toes don't go as close to the front as I would like. Also, the strap seems that it could accommodate a much wider foot. I have worn sandals for over thirty years (I live in SW Fla) and I would say these are larger than an average size. It's minor, but I think I would have tried a smaller size.

Comfortable thong -
A comfortable, cushy thong. I usually wear an 8 1/2 slim, but since most sandals are available only in narrow, I took a chance. The adjustable strap helps the shoe stay on and the cushioning is great. Maybe an 8 would have been better for me, but my skinny foot creates sizing problems. Zappos’ service was terrific.

Happy feet.
How thrilled I was to find shoes in wider widths. I ordered two sizes since I didn't know which would fit better. My feet are happy; the soles are thick and cushy, plus have arch support. The company supplied a return label and I returned the unused shoe size with no problem. I highly recommend this company.

These sandals are not as comfy as I had hoped. Maybe when they are broken in they will feel better--the toe thong is kind of rough.

Love My New Sandals -
These sandals are GREAT! I love everything about them! The size, the look, the fit and the comfort! I have a wide foot and a high in-step, and have a very hard time finding shoes to fit. The velcro adjustable strap on these sandals is perfect! I would recommend them to anyone with any problems similar to mine!

I have a hard time finding nice sandals in narrow, but these seem to fit the bill. Comfortable footbed and adjustable strap make these a custom fit. The only problem I have is that they seem a little bit short in the back and my heel hangs over slightly. I am not sure if I just need to break them in or not, but I am thinking of exchanging them for a 9 1/2.

Great sandal!
I have a narrow foot and find it difficult to find a sandal that will stay on my feet. The adjustable velcro strap makes it so easy to adjust. Even if my feet happen to swell a little, I can adjust it. Of course, Rockport always makes a comfy foot bed.

Very nice shoes -
First note that I ordered the wide size. They are the first shoe with the split toe I have been able to wear that it doesn't kill the in-between of my toes. Caveat, if you buy wide, they look like wide shoes, but I love them anyway.

I love these sandals. They are comfortable to wear. When my feet swell from the heat, I can adjust the strap.
