My 8 yo loves these shoes! She thinks they are pretty and very "grown-up" looking. I think she gasped when she first saw them. They are indeed very classic looking. I worried the heel would be too high, but it's just right. I’d buy a large size in a second if Zappos had one.

Hard to fit feet -
The shoes look great and did fit my granddaughter better than most but she has a very narrow foot and probably needs a slim. I cannot find any dress shoes in town to fit her properly and not any casual shoes but she wears them anyway even though they are very loose. She wants to wear shoes like everyone else and not just lace-up shoes.

Great black shoe, daughter loves style -
My 8 yr old daughter has a narrow foot so we shop at Zappos a lot. This shoe fit her well and she loves the style and heel.

Finally a shoe in her size.
My daughter is 11 and wears a "triple A (very narrow)". Shoes are so hard to find. Then I found Zappos. It was a God send. They didn't a triple A but they had a narrow shoe for a young girl to wear that looks really nice. The shoes are nice and my daughter loves them. They select was very slim but I still like the fact that I had a select that wasn't too grown or too little girlish. I would like to suggest that you broaden your selection in narrow shoes.

Perfect for Narrow Feet -
Sweet, lovely shoe for a tween with narrow feet. My daughter is 10 years old with hard to fit narrow "princess" feet, and these are perfect. She loves them and I do too! Not too grown up, but not too juvenile, either.

1st heels for Nutcracker -
My 9-year-old has such wide feet it is hard to find fashionable or even feminine shoes for her. These fit very well and looked beautiful, in a classic way -- she said she'd prefer something without beads or frills, but they were so minimal.

Great little dress shoe for tween girls -
I ordered this shoe for my daughter who has a long narrow foot. The size was as marked and it is SO GREAT that it is available in narrow. It is a good dress shoe for winter because her toes are covered. The likes the heel size. It is easy to walk in. Her only complaint is that the shoe rubs on the inside of her arch a bit. It looks great on.

Finally pretty shoes in a narrow width -
I have such a hard time finding narrow width shoes and to finally find a beautiful dress shoe with a heel was wonderful. The shoes look better in person and I really am not disappointed at all. I will be coming back for more shoes. Please try to get more narrow sizes as they are hard to come by for children.
