Best shoe ever.
I started wearing Castro's a few years back. While I don't wear them for working out or running (they would slip off) for everyday & at the office these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Love 'em!

A little big -
Loved the shoes but they run a little big. Ordered a 13 and could have gone the next half size down.

My new Castro Globe's are a pleasure to wear. Read the reviews to see if others have any other non noted problems and take it from there. The Zappos name is spreading around, and every thing is coming up roses!

This is a great comfortable shoe for casual wear. I would not recommend it for walking a great distance, but they are good for short walks and hanging out. Very good looking also.

Lite? No!
These are no more "breathable" than a regular pair of leather slip-ons! I bought them to have a light summer "ventilator"-type shoe, but was really disappointed at how warm and stiff they were. They look really cool, but are not particularly comfortable. In other words, all form and no function.

I bought these for my husband & son. They both think they are the best & most comfortable shoes they have ever owned so I bought them each several pairs in different colors. The women's are great as well - I only wish there were more colors offered for us girls!

This shoe in general is perfect; just pick what fabric suits you best... for my wide foot it still stands strong in being a half size larger than marked. I own 3 pair of these shoes leather, suede, and mesh. I just ordered the mesh black/white fade; shoe was perfect...besides a nail sticking in my foot from the inside. This rarely happens with shoes, especially Castro’s. Sad that the nail ruined it, but great shoe.

Very good shoes. I bought a size too big though. They match with pretty much anything, khakis, jeans, shorts, you name it. Very comfortable.

Fun shoe. Funky sizing.
I'm a true size 14. A bit to the wide side. With a high arch. So most 14s are typically a little snug, but wearable. But my first pair of Globe's in Size 14 was at least one size too big for my big feet. I reordered after reading some of the reviews that suggested that the sizing was erratic. I'm glad I did because the next pair of 14s fit me perfectly. Was the first pair mislabeled? Or does Globe have QC problems in manufacturing? Not sure, but I hope they work it out. It's a fun shoe (hard to find in a large size). I don't think it will last very long. But at fifty bucks, I still think it's a value.

"One of a kind"
I have these shoes in the Khaki color and they're amazing. I get numerous compliments every time I wear them, and they're very comfortable. My feet never sweat when I wear these shoes, but it's about a half size larger, so I have to wear thick socks. Goes well with khaki shorts or jeans. Would recommend to anyone.

I feel the help I got was the best. I would/have recommend Zappos to my family and friends. The shoe I got are well loved. He wears them all the time. He wore them to a wedding he was in, he said that he danced all night.

Looks good. Bought a size down. Which feels narrow but I expect it to change as the shoe gets broken in. the shoe doesn't quite grip the back of my foot and so my heels slip a little as I step.

The bottom of the shoe is quite substantial, meaning that it’s thicker than one would expect in a slipper shoe. I recommend ordering a half size larger than you normally wear, the shoe DOES run small.

Nice look, comfortable -
I own a white pair of these shoes and continue to get compliments. I have worn them both with jeans and with a suit, both times, people gave me props. I like that these shoes can be casual or dressy. Overall, they are pretty comfortable as well.

GLOBE CASTRO -
The shoe is very comfortable and also very affordable. I liked how it is not a hard plastic sole and has many soft layers. I recommend this shoe a lot.

Very comfortable, moderate arch support, and you can pull them off with a suit. Only complaint is that the front of the shoe is different leather than the suede on the rest of the shoe. Kind of trendy though.

Relax comfortably -
I have 4 pairs of Castro and I love them....they are extremely comfortable and have a really kick back look....perfect with jeans and a t-shirt but still looks stylish with anything else.

They should make these forever. I bought two so they would last. They look great with jeans and even shorts. Definitely not slippers. They are made like shoes just look at em. They have some support on the foot bed. They even look good when you dress up some. I can wear em all day with out any problems. They are made well to take everyday wear too. They slip on like shoes should. You slid your foot in a little and then push down on the back a few time and it’s on. The back always pops back up. Some of my shoes don’t. You never have to bend down and pull em on. I think they will last a long time. Zappos it great too.

The shoes are loved by my son, but they are too wide for a 15yr. old. And I purchased a 1/2 size larger and they are too big all together but he decided to keep them. He just loves these shoes!

Pretty good shoe-like slippers -
These slippers are definitely sturdy and seem like they will last a long time. The one surprising thing for me was how shoe-like they are. They have a thick rubber sole similar to a sneaker. I'm fine with that because I work in a basement and I like to be insulated from the floor, I just wasn't expecting them to be so thick. Also, I recommend going with a larger size if you're not sure. I normally wear a 9 1/2 shoe but the size 9 slippers were way too small. The size 10 slippers are just right.
