This boot is perfect for this season. You can wear them with the top folded or unfolded which cover part of the knee. The bow tie on the back is what really got me sold. As for the circumference, the actual circumference is only about 14.5. The leather is really soft so they might stretch a little more. This may not be good for thin calf girls because the leather is really soft and will most likely slide downward. They are very comfortable to walk in.

Love them!
Sooo comforable! They fit great - a little wide around the calf, but I adusted them with the tie in back. It's not the richest leather I've ever seen, but it certainly doesn't look like pleather.

Calf circumference measurement is wrong -
I have to return these because Zappos' calf circumference measurement is wrong. My calves are 15-15.5" big and after reading the description, I thought I had hit the jackpot. 17.5" circumference and a flat, non slip heel? I was sold. However, I just got these and they do not fit. I am wearing skinny jeans and I can't get the boot past the halfway point in my calf. Larger calved girls, be forewarned!

Love them!
These are my favorite boots of all time. The rubber soles are non-slip and have lasted a long time. They fit nicely around my legs and look so cute with my wardrobe. They are very comfortable and I can walk around the city all day in them!

Not cute!
I was really disappointed with these boots. I have normal size calves (no stick legs here), and these boots were huge on me through the calf and ankle. It caused the leather to bunch and ripple - not attractive. Also, the leather is shiny and looks almost like pleather. Back they went.
