Great boot style, husband loved. Unfortunately, the boot runs small, specifically the width. Even if you sized up, width might feel better, but then toe area would be too big. Not sure where these were manufactured, but I can take a guess that they were made in Far East. They just do not have the same measurements as we have in the US and as a result, returns are inevitable.

Shoes are so rad. First off, the shoes got to my house the next day, which is worth 5 stars all in its own. I have them on right now and I do like them a lot, a bit tight very stylish. I wear 13, but they make my foot appear smaller.

The material in these shoes not worth the price very thin with a cloth backing. I have a 4" narrow feet & I still consider them too narrow which makes them look seem long. The black does look black & overly stressed probably should have got the brown. Unless you are flat foot you will definitely need to use insoles. I got the 11 & my feet are exactly 10.75 in., so the toe box had an additional 1", not a prob. I also was not crazy about the loud laces so I replaced with black ones. I ride a 06 Zx10 & have got many compliments so I'm OK with them, especially because they won't overheat my feet. Best thing I got them less than 24hrs.after ordering super fast delivery.

These boots -
In my life, these are the second pair of boots I've ever owned. I've wanted to wear more boots, on the account of how tough I am on my shoes. But I also hold fashion at high regard, and most good looking boots are not very functional, and most functional boots aren't very fashionable. This boot was made for me. Light, tough, and I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on their peculiar style. The strap is a bit nonfunctional and the leather has started to stretch, but considering how often I wear them, they've been very good to me. Do take into account other reviewers comments on the colors; they are a bit off from the photos.

I recently got these shoes as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. They weren't the shoes I picked out for him, ( I picked out some really cozy uggs to keep him warm through the snow storm, but they didn't appeal to him) so I told him to pick out whatever he liked the most, and this was it. He wears them all the time, and they look cool too. The leather is a little on the thin side, and they don't have much support, but like me, he's very fashion savvy, and style can definitely outweigh functionality and comfort.

The look and style are great - the boots are extremely lightweight so your feet stay much cooler than other brands - side zipper provides easy access - overall better than I thought they would be - would like to order a second pair!

Great airport boots -
These boots rock, because they are so easy to take on and off (which is wonderful at the airport these days!). They look wonderful, very soft immediately. They do fit a bit narrow though.

I love this boot, the look and the color.
Unfortunately my feet are too wide for this one, much to my chagrin. The size seemed right, but the width was rather tight. I wore these around for several hours hoping that they would get comfortable, but they squeezed my feet to the point where they were uncomfortable. I love the look and I love Zappos and will definitely continue purchasing shoes from them after this.

This boot has a style all its own.
I wanted a boot that was workman like but with a slight western style to them. I saw this boot and ordered it on the spot. Exactly like I wanted. The boot does look more like a dark brown because of the worn leather. But it fits any look you want, extremely fashionable.

Nice boots, good color. I added oil dressing to mine after I got them; that beefed them up a little. Very comfortable from the start. Fast delivery too.

A Cool Boot -
These boots are pretty cool. I got the silver first because the brown was out in my size. When the new shipment hit, I picked up two pairs in brown. Out of the box the color isn't that great, but it's the kind of leather that will improve with a little age and polish. Fit is perfect and comfortable. Another good design by Zappos.

I bought the brown after reading that the black was more silver and I loved the look of these boots! The color is bit lighter than pictured. Very supple leather and great construction all around, loved the look of the metal hardware. They were, unfortunately, too narrow for my largish feet (US Men’s 13-14) in the toe so I had to return them but I'll be using the store credit immediately! I love Zappos!

These boots are hands down the BEST footwear I have bought in a year at least! They are out of the box comfortable, feel good for extended wear; I've hardly taken them off in 3 weeks! Besides the comfort they are really cute; just the right amount of attitude! I like that they look a bit worn, and it makes the leather extremely soft. I would buy these again and again and again!!! Wore these on a recent trip. The zipper is great for taking the boots off quickly. These boots are possibly the lightest I’ve ever own. And they look great too.

A little large for me...
I usually judge my shoe size based on my Chuck Taylors, which fit perfectly at size 9. Traditionally Chucks are a half size smaller, so that would make me a 9.5. I ordered these in 9 based on other reviews stating they were a little small. Well, I found the 9's to be too big. The width was great, but they were too long. Otherwise these boots are great. They do look a little more silver/grey when you actually get them, but that's because they have a worn look. I returned mine, but I'll probably try to get a smaller pair sometime soon.

This boot has the look and profile that I was looking for. However, after going to a show and standing up for three hours and then the car ride home, my feet were a bit sore. My impression: It's great for a night out but not to wear all the time.

I agree that the "black" is more silver/grey but I love these shoes. I bought them for a costume but wear them all the time. They are super comfortable and look amazing.

Good for Halloween -
Don’t be fooled, the black is silver and the brown is gold. These boots are styled well but the colors are whack. Neither pair worked out for me. The leather looks cheap which makes them end up looking like costume shoes. Bummer.

They sent the wrong color and size!
I ordered black and received gray, and they sent the wrong size, but lo and behold, it fit like a glove! I highly recommend this boot IF you can afford it. Perfect for walking, perfect on my motorcycle, just the wrong color...

Great Looking Boot but Needs Insole -
I get compliments on these boots all the time and they have a very nice fit. The only problem is that the insole is rather flat so it would be wise to put in a Dr. Scholl's or something.

Great boot -
The look is great. I have the brown version, and the weathering looks natural. Those with the black ones said they appeared more silver than they expected, but the brown looks exactly like the picture.
The outer dimensions are smaller than I imagined, it's not a big clompy boot. If you wear with long pants it looks like a tight leather shoe.
Soles are comfy, and very flexible, but too thin for my taste. I have pretty sensitive feet, so I put insoles in almost all my shoes.
The leather is very supple and stretches to fit my feet well, I'm a little wide. After only the second wearing, it's broken in significantly.
You'd probably do well to go half or a full size larger than your usual shoe, it's a snug fit.

Honestly, I think I would have felt alright paying about $300 dollars for these shoes. They are beautiful, and even when they start getting a little bit scuffed, it doesn't look out of place. They are comfortable, stylish, and easy to put on... really worth it.
