I am getting ready to buy my 3rd pair of Equalon+2 running shoes! I am a police trainer and run a lot! These are the best running shoes I've ever owned. I'm 6', weigh about 195 lbs., and over-pronate. Not only do they stand up to the rigors of the sometimes long runs we do with our recruits, but also to the sprints, calisthenics and plyometric training that we do almost daily. Buy them. You won't be sorry!

Very good running shoe, high quality. If you know what size you wear in a Nike, your fine but you want to order a half-size larger because Nike tends to run small. I am going to purchase a second pair for storage I love them so much. Zappos has the best internet service that I have ever dealt with. I would almost go to a store and try them on then come home and order from Zappos. Cheaper and free shipping!

Terrific for everyday wear -
The Nike Equalon 2 is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. I wear them every day casually, and my feet never hurt. In fact, I almost never think about them because these shoes are so comfortable.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this shoe to anybody, either for running or for casual wear. It has unmatched cushioning that feels amazing!

Best running shoe I've owned -
I'm flat footed, 5’ll”, 165 lbs. I have plantar fascitiis in my left foot and I'm able to run because of these shoes. I found most of the motion control shoes seem to be designed for heavier runners. I think they may have caused my foot issue. (Asics Gel Foundation 8's). I found these on clearance in Chicago in July and haven't found them locally anywhere in Cary, NC. Now looking at Asics Gel Kayano 14's.

I have finally found the best...
These are the running shoes I have been looking for. Absolutely the best shoe I have run on so far and I have tried shoes from at least five other major manufactures. The fit and comfort level is stellar. They felt perfect right out of the box. The sole is responsive and cushy at the same time. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but if you run on a regular basis, they are worth every penny. I plan on buying another pair when these wear out. I recommend going up a half size in these so your toes don't take a beating on long runs. As an added bonus, they are cool looking, too. Excellent stability shoe.

Best shoe by far...There is NO Equal -
I have just purchased a third pair in the orange to go with the light blue and red. This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever run in. As another review stated it has made me into a 25 mile a week runner. I have always been a Nike person no others to compare but this is the best one ever. I tried the Vomeros and they are close but if you try them both run with the Vomero first you will feel the difference. I hope that when time comes for the Equalon 3 to come its just as good or even better. With all Nike’s, for years I always buy a half size larger.

Best running shoes yet -
Probably the best pair of running shoes I have owned thus far. Very comfortable, heel in particular feels far "springier" than my last pair of Asics. Traction is great for XC use, but not too radical for track or tarmac applications. The Nike+ compatibility is nice. I didn't consider it when shopping, but after reading some of the literature that came with the shoes, I am contemplating ordering a chip…

Absolutely the best running shoe I have ever had. Actually has made me enjoy running. Something I have never been able to say before. Great cushioning and stability. I'm on my 2nd pair.

Best running shoe I have ever worn!
The Equalon+2 is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever put on my feet. My feet are somewhat sensitive and get sore in a full stability shoe like my Brooks Adrenaline, but as a slight over-pronator I need some support. After trying over 20 different shoes, I ended up getting the Equalon+ 2. Nike has made a perfect combination of comfort and support in the Equalon+2. I also suffered from Shin splints in my other shoes (ASICS Cumulus 9), but after running in the Equalon+2s I run pain free. The heel system with the decoupled cushions encourages a natural landing and the cushion absorbs a ton of shocks. I know my knees are thanking me for wearing these shoes. There is nothing quite like running on the Air Zoom cushion system!
Good luck in finding the best shoe for your feet/legs...running is so much more fun once you find the right gear to keep you comfortable and pain free.
