Just took my pair of Acorn Back Off back to the retailer I bought them from after wearing for only two weeks. Stitching fell out and sole separated from upper material. Now I have to wait 10 days for the retailer to get another pair for a replacement, which didn't make me happy. Nonetheless, I liked the slippers and will waiting for the second pair to arrive. Hopefully these will last and be comfortable as I expect they will be.

Bought these for my husband and I just threw them away (about 4 months after purchase). The Leather banding around the edge has faux stitching so the whole banding came unglued! Not worth the price. The fabric looked nice but the workmanship was unsatisfactory! Don't bother!

 | | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family. My sincerest thanks for helping my dad recover and come home to me. Barbara I. | | ~ Barbara I., September 29 2009
