Nice boots -
I have been searching for boots that would fit over my large calves, and these almost fit the bill. Even though I measured my calves prior to ordering, they still are a bit tight. I'm hoping that I can break them in and stretch the leather a bit more over time.
Otherwise, they fit great! The width is perfect, and I ordered a half size up from my regular size as recommended by other buyers. My feet don't slide into the toe box at all. Finally something sexy I can wear with my skirts!

Wow, for the price of these boots, even the sale price, I would have expected a much more comfortable footbed. These boots feel as though there is no cushion whatsoever, as though my foot is on a hard piece of wood or concrete. I did not even bother trying the left one on. Also, these boots run very small. I ordered 8 wide, my normal shoe size being 8 medium or sometimes wide and I would guess that I would need at least a 9 wide in this boot. However, I do not even want to bother trying because I already know that they are no good for me. That being said, these boots look really cool and they also fit great around my large calves, but who cares? My feet say no thanks.

Great boots -
Because they were out of size 10, which is what normally fits me best, I ordered these in a size 11. I am glad I did because the 11 was just about perfect when you count room for insoles, socks, etc.
In size 11 the shaft is quite wide, my 16-17 inch calves had almost too much room - they are very loose. But since I want to tuck my jeans into them it's okay.
The boots are cute and very comfortable to walk in. They are versatile too.

Awesome boot for girls with big legs -
This boot fit perfectly with my normal shoe size.

Good idea bad fit -
I ordered these boots twice to try and get a fit as they look good and the calf is right. The fit is strange and the padding actually feels like a raised label that rubs the center of your heel. It also felt like my foot weight was all in the toe when I stood in them. A narrow toe box. Hope this helps.

Wished I could have worn this shoe. I'm a size 7 med. I tried going up a 1/2 size and still could not find enough room in the toe box. It’s as if all your weight of your foot wants to slide to the toe. Looks good, nice wide calf, feels bad.

I did not even know I had wide calves - or there was such a thing as a wide calf boot! They are great. Beautiful shoe, heel, and fits perfect without a struggle like I encounter with my other boots. You will be please with this streamline boot. I usually buy a 1/2 larger in boots because of the sock issue. They fit perfect.

Not the one for me......
I liked these boots but unfortunately they just did not feel all that comfortable to me. I have very muscular calves, they fit my calf ok but the foot portion did not seem to fit well. I was not too happy with the comfort of these. I wear a size 7, maybe a 7 1/2 would have been better. My search for the perfect brown boot will continue.

I love these boots! I have a large calf and it is really difficult finding boots that fit well and look good. These are perfect and the wedge heel is so comfortable. I wore them to church Sunday and kept them on all day and never had the first foot pain.

These boots are awesome. I have a very wide calf and they were a little tight for the first few days but they fit perfect. Very comfortable. I’ve walked all over the city with them. Great for day and night. I have gotten tons of compliments on them.
The only thing I would change is the shape of the toe- it's a bit round for me. But otherwise, these are great and totally worth the $$$.

I wasn't sure these boots would fit or be the leather I prefer (soft). I didn't know I had large calves until I tried to find boots that fit. These zipped easily and are very comfortable to wear. They are plain, with no decoration but the wedge heel makes them easy and gives nice height. If you have large calves, these are the boots for you.

I finally have TALL boots!
After years of searching I found some boots that fit my huge foot and wide calf. I wear a size 12 but followed other reviewers’ advice and was able to order a size 13 and the fit great.

Nice, but 2nd best to the Rylee -
I bought these and the Rylee by Fitzwell because I figured these would end up fitting and the Rylee wouldn't, well neither fit perfectly but the Rylee turned out a better fit. These were way too wide and you should truly have a wide calf for these. All the reviewers warned that Fitzwell boots are snug on the calves so I thought I would need the wide calf...not so! I bought these in a 11 W (for sock rm) though I wear a 10 M, they were larger than expected and had more than sufficient room in the shoe. I like the wood heel on the Rylee better, plus I like that the Rylee is 4". I'm trying to wear heels again so I will truly look the 6 ft tall I really am (w/o heels), although I'm sure my poor posture is the real reason most people guess I'm 5'10" or 5'11".

These boots are great with jeans or slacks. I am able to wear them out on the town and to work. There is little arch support, so after about 12 hours they become uncomfortable, but for the usual 8 hour day they do just fine.

Not 15.5 inches!
I measured my calf before I ordered these boots because I didn't want to be disappointed. When I was under the circumference size, I was very happy and ordered them. However, these boots (at least in a size 5.5) ARE NOT 15 1/2 inches in circumference. The only way I got them zipped is by scrunching them down about 2 inches. The end result was an extremely uncomfortable boot. I am keeping them because that's how much I want a knee high boot. Tip for others with this problem: damp leather will stretch, so if you wipe them down periodically with a damp sponge, eventually they will loosen up. I have done this with these boots without damage to the leather.

I'm really happy with these. I'm glad I ordered the wide width -- I'm usually medium, but based on the survey saying they felt narrower, and since my feet are just slightly on the wide side, I went with the wide and they are perfect. Plenty of room in the calf, and my husband measured the widest part of my calf at 17" - maybe he goofed. Unlike other wide-calf boots that I've bought, these only bag slightly in the ankles but I think a thicker sock will take care of that. I wish there was some cushion in the ball of the foot -- with the relatively high heel, I can see these getting pretty uncomfortable after a few hours on your feet. But, overall, I really recommend these boots. Great price, quality and fit.

I searched for wide calf boots for ages (to which Zappos can attest), spending quite a bit in my quest for a pair of boots that would fit. After several failed attempts, I found these, and love them! They were comfortable enough for me to wear while running around the airport, and sturdy enough for everyday wear. I can't wait for another cold snap!

Footbed tight, but a beautiful boot!
I am usually a size 9M, no problems at all, but I'll be ordering the wide and maybe the 9.5M to try because this boot was just too tight. Heel cushioning and support was great, but made the balls of my feet hurt after minutes of walking around the house... could be due to my high arches, but I can usually wear 2.5" heels with no problem. If you have normal/non-problematic feet and just wide calves this is a great boot, very beautiful, and the chocolate brown is dark and gorgeous! Barely zipped on my 17" calves in a size 9M, but it did zip!
