My second pair of SoftWalk -
I have a pair of SoftWalks that I've used (heavily) for 2 years, they still are in great shape and oh, so comfortable. This is from someone who stands on their feet while working all day. Wouldn't wear anything else. I haven't worn my new Montclaires yet, but they fit great and know they will be just as comfortable. I went up 1/2 size as suggested by other reviewers, and am very glad I did. Looking forward to a lot of use from these shoes.

Good in theory, bad on the plus-sized foot - For my 9.5WW flat feet that are exceptionally tall above where the arch should be, the strap on these shoes was painfully tight while getting the shoe onto my foot and then uselessly loose once the shoe was on. The toe box was comfy but the heel slipped off every time I took a step because of the weight of the shoe and the fact that the strap wasn't adjustable to make the shoe fit more snug. The strap can be turned into velcro (ick!) or a buckled strap at a shoe shop, so that can be fixed. the reason I returned the shoes is that they were PAINFUL to wear. I could feel the edge of the heel just in front of my heel bone – the shoe looks like a wedge sort of heel, but there's a different sort of material or construction or *something* because it felt like I was walking on the edge of a wooden plank instead of a soft, comfy shoe. Walked five steps across the kitchen and promptly sent the shoes back.

Love this shoe! Feels like you're walking on mini-trampolines and pretty cute for a “comfort” shoe to boot. My feet are cartoonishly wide and these fit like a dream.

Comfy, but not that cute -
Overall the shoe was pretty comfortable - I have a high arch, so didn't have a problem with the strap not being adjustable - it was perfect for me. However, there was a lump in the right shoe that I could feel when I walked. I'm not sure if it was due to the "egg crate" insole, but it was bothersome. Not as cute on as I thought they would be, either.

Fell in love -
I simply could not resist the look of these shoes and the fact that they came in WW. They fit like a dream and look great! The only problem I have had is that they are the first shoe with a heel that I have worn in years. It has been sneakers all the way. So I experienced pain in the front of my ankles after the first time I wore them. I guess those muscles needed some stretching.

Such a comfortable shoes, out of the box. I found the shoe to be true to size. I’m on my feet all day and these really help to alleviate the stress I sometimes feel in my legs. They are a little bit clunky looking but if I wear my longer scrub bottom pants you hardly notice. The benefit is looking 2" taller in really comfy shoes!

Really cute shoe, but the strap rubbed uncomfortably. The Jupiter was a better fit for me. The style is almost identical; except it is a flat and you buckle the strap.

I tried several sizes and could not get one that felt right on my foot. The one that was supposed to be my size (8 1/2 W) felt too wide. The shoe also felt heavy. I had to send them back.

This shoe is so comfortable. Whatever they made the sole out of is soft, cushy, and supportive. The shoe fit perfectly, but the heel and sole, which is great (soft, flexible), is a little heavy and needs an adjustable strap because it has a tendency to pull at the heel when walking. If Softwalk ever makes this shoe with a buckle strap or a T-bar design, I'm definitely there. For now, I just took mine to a shoe repair shop and had a velcro adjustment put in - it costs me an additional $12, but these shoes are comfy. I decided that one flaw was worth it this time.

Great comfort, but I was disappointed with the width. The shoes overall and heel were way too wide (I wear 10.5 N). I thought the strap was velcro to help since my foot down, but it is not adjustable.

I am on my feet every minute of the day, but with these shoes, it feels like a half day. My only complaint is that the leather is not durable at all. The toes have been scuffed since the first day I wore them. Still worth buying!

Another Great Shoe from SoftWalk -
This is my second pair of SoftWalk shoes and both pairs are very comfortable. This shoe is more like a clog than a shoe in terms of comfort but is much more stylish than a clog. The insole is so comfy and the heel height is great. I will definitely buy more shoes from SoftWalk.

Very comfortable shoe that is stylish, too!
I ordered a half size larger than usual because of the other reviews and it fits great. These shoes required no break-in time. They were comfortable from the get go. I can run around with my 1 1/2 year old and look good. The shoe looks a bit wider than I thought, but I still love them. I would highly recommend. I love that it has a heel but you can't tell because they are so comfortable.

What these shoes lack in style, they more than make up for in comfort - they can get me through an entire day on my feet on tile flooring, even overtime. They are a bit on the clunky-looking side, but my feet are on the small side (6.5N), so I think they look ok.

I usually wear flats (I'm 5'11") but wanted something just a little dressier for visiting clients in NYC. Wore these for the first time yesterday and walked around ALL DAY and my feet feel great. I have very high arches and narrow feet and get blisters easily (what a sissy!). I've never worn shoes with NO break-in time. Even sneakers tend to rub somewhere but these are by far the most comfortable, closed toe shoes ever (my keens 'flip-flops' beat them in total comfort).

I love the insole on these shoes, it's almost therapeutic! This is a very simple but adorable looking shoe which I get a lot of compliments on. It fits fine in my normal size. The strap feels a bit tight across the top of my foot but not to any extent that it's uncomfortable to walk in all day. This shoe looks and feels very well constructed. It's a good choice.

Functional Commuter shoes -
These are great for taking mass transit since you can run to catch your train without killing yourself. It is difficult to find shoes with this heel height (good for those long jeans) that don't kill your feet.
Glad I read the reviews because (as someone pointed out) the interior lining is short in the toe area so ordering a 1/2 size bigger was the right call.
A little clunky looking on your feet (big and round) but they are so functional that I overlook the fact that at certain angles, they can look frumpy.

I love this shoe. It is a great casual shoe to wear with jeans and a little blazer jacket or just a tee shirt. I thought the rounded toe might look dorky, but it is sweet, not dorky at all. Very comfortable shoe for lots of hours on your feet.

I probably own ever color of SoftWalks... love them, I am a nurse and on my feet 10-12 hours a day. Only problem I have is finding size 5. I find them at ZAPPOS. This shoe I did buy the 5 1/2 and it fit great... I was a Dansko fan, but can't find the proper fit anymore. So I now buy SoftWalks.
