Look nice, but they ain't no Ecco -
I tried these because they were rated well and because I couldn't shell out the money for the Eccos that I've ordered before. Well, they are half the price, but they didn't last 1/4 the time. I still wear my very beat-up Eccos to work around the house. They look like hell now but they are still comfortable. My Bostonians both look bad and are hard on my back now. I'm getting a new pair of Eccos this time and a polishing kit.

Really comfortable shoes -
I have a wide foot and have had trouble fitting them. These shoes fit wonderfully, and are very comfortable and great looking. I was so pleased I bought a second pair in tan.

Bostonian Dress Shoes -
I wear 10 Wide shoes and find it near impossible in most shoe stores to find wide shoes. Bostonian runs true to size, so these were a perfect fit for me. I like the style for casual work dress. The fit is perfect.

Great shoe -
I ordered a half-size smaller, wide, shoe. Never felt better. Lightweight and comfortable. Jeans, dress, casual pants...nice looking, low-cost, versatile shoe. And I usually cannot stand walking around in dress shoes.

Feet hurt -
I have worn these shoes for about eight hours and my feet still hurt. The toes on both feet continued to have pain after I had first worn these shoes for about two hours. Don't buy these shoes!!

Great men's shoe -
My husband has flipper feet, wide toes base with a narrow heel, and he has had fantastic luck with the Bostonian. It is a wide shoe to accommodate his toe area with a lightweight feel and very comfortable, even after the end of a long day. We've bought more expensive shoes in the past but find this is the best value around.

Nice shoe -but...
I have a wide foot and this shoe in the medium width fit me fine. I originally ordered the wides, but they were too big. Here are the pros:
+The shoes are very comfortable.
+Fairly light weight. My feet do no tire after wearing them all week.
+Not bad looking.
+Reasonable price.
There is one big negative. The soles are not non-marking. Every time a walk on a vinyl floor, I leave big, ugly black marks unless I am extra careful in picking up my feet. This makes it difficult for me to wear these to work, which was the original reason I bought them.
If you only walk on carpet, stone tile, or wood, these shoes should be fine. If it were not for the sole marking problem, I would buy another pair.

Shoe's overall size is great. It's as wide as I had hoped. There's a strange support on the insole in front of the outside of my heel. I've gotten used to it or it's broken in a bit and they are pretty comfortable to wear.

Nice shoe, ridiculously comfortable...
These shoes are fantastic! They look good with just about anything from a suit, to business casual, to jeans. They're very comfortable. I came from wearing Doc Martens everyday and was apprehensive about wearing such a dressy-looking shoe everyday in terms of comfort. These shoes are cushy and have a nice wide toe-box. They are true to size, easy to put on, and have a nice soft, broken-in feel while maintaining their shape and design (Docs tend to mush up and crease after a lot of wear). They are incredibly well designed, and hopefully, will have the same long-life as my old Docs.

 |  | Hi, I just have to comment on the 2 pairs of athletic shoes I ordered for my son for school. First of all your web site is the only place with such a large selection of wide size boys shoes. I can always find something cool that my 6 year old will like. Secondly, I ordered them at close to 10pm Thursday night while I was getting ready to go to work. I went to work (night shift), came home and got just a few hours of sleep, walked out onto the front porch and wondered what the big box was - I haven't ordered anything lately. My little boy said, "Mom they're my new shoes!" I replied, "No bud, I ordered those late last night - I can only hope they'll be here by the first day of school which isn't likely because that is Monday." He said, "No mom I opened the box and it is them!" I want to THANK YOU for upgrading my shipping. I see you're in Kentucky. I would swear that someone got my order, sprinted into the warehouse to get the shoes, and threw them onto my front porch. I never got any order so fast in my life. I still can't comprehend how they were processed and driven or flown here and delivered so fast. Many companies out there offer some seriously poor service and so you should know this is- I believe- my second order with you and certainly not my last! I'm blown away, great job!
