I bought these for the styling and the safety features. They look like 70\'s style hikers to me, especially with the red laces in. They come with two sets of laces, red and black. Great shoes out of the box, very comfortable and holding up well after a few weeks.\r\n\r\nThe tread pattern on the sole is very small and holds onto a lot of junk. Last week I got them clogged up with southern yellow pine chips from a planer and slipped going down a wooden ramp as a result. Be careful, I also tracked the stuff all over the building.\r\n\r\nThe sizing is dead on with absolutely no extra room so if you sometimes need a half size larger you probably will with these.

This is the most comfortable pair of steel toes that I have ever owned. They feel lightweight to me. They also do not hurt my toes. Would buy them again.

Surprisingly good work shoes! I ordered 3 pairs of shoes from Zappos at once. This was the pair that I bought thinking that I would use the free return. They turned out to be my favorite. They are very sturdy and therefore feel like my regular work boots, but were comfortable right out of the box. They're not the most stylish shoes out there, but for work shoes they are great.

Nice work boot -
Very nice boots. Took only 4 days to feel "broke in." I would have liked a mid-height level to the boot partially covering my ankles instead of the low-height they currently offer.

Sturdy and heavy -
Good shoe, very sturdy and comfortable - it comes in widths, which is great. Unfortunately, I was mainly looking for a shoe I could commute (I ride a bike to work) and hike in and they felt just a bit too heavy for all-around use.

Good for work, a little heavy.
They work great for what they are intended for. They do have a little extra weight due to the steel toe feature. They are great shoes, but they are heavy.

I like them -
It took just a day for shoes to break in. I wear them to work 10-12 hours a day and feet do not hurt. Slightly bulky but the comfort makes up for that. Not sure on the wear and tear but they seem to be made well. So I am very happy with these steel toes. ZAPPOS is the best. Great website and fast shipping with FEDEX. BETTER THAN GOING TO SHOE STORE

 |  | I just wanted to thank you for being so wonderful. Last week I ordered a pair of shoes but when I got them home the color didn't match so I needed to return them. What I didn't realize was that when I shipped them back to you, my cell phone charger was also in the box. The last couple of days I have been going crazy looking for it. But to my surprise it showed up today. My UPS driver just dropped off a tiny Zappos box. As I opened the box knowing that I hadn't ordered anything, I was amazed and grateful to find the charger in there. This little gesture just proves how much your company goes above and beyond for their customers and I for one truly, truly appreciate it. When you say "We are always here for you" you really mean it! I love your company, site, and all you stand for and do for your customers. I can't thank you enough for making my day! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
