I bought two pairs of these one in gold and one in chestnut. The leather of the gold pair was much softer and easier to break in than the chestnut pair. I have not worn the chestnut pair much since I was wearing the gold pair all the time, and my only complaint was that yes, they made my feet stink really bad. I wore them without socks, but I wear shoes and sandals without socks all the time and I have only had the stink happen to these shoes and one other pair of sandals. It must be some material used on the inside that causes this. I tried to ignore it for as long as possible, but I cannot do it any longer, and unfortunately they are going in the trash.That being said, they were one of the most comfortable cute shoes I have ever owned. They went great with skirts, skinny jeans, and pants. The front part of my foot is a smidge wide and I did not have any discomfort at all, with no break-in time required. I walked with them for hours and had no complaints. Really rare! I wore Dr. Scholl's arch supports with them as I do with all shoes.

I bought a pair of the burgundy shoes. I love them. They are my favorite shoes. They go great with jeans and I can wear them for miles!!! I hate putting them away for the winter (not good for Massachusetts snow), but was smiling in the spring when I pulled them out of my closet.\r\n\r\nIt did take a week or so to break them in (rough on the back of the ankles), but it was well worth it. I totally love these shoes.

My favorite Privo's shoe yet -
I have a very narrow foot, and am unable to wear heels, and this is my favorite Privo's shoe that I have ever owned (and I have a bunch). It goes well with jeans or with dress pants and I have walked about 3 miles at once in these puppies. The footbed is comfortable, but if you have really high arches, it might not have enough support for you. Gorgeous, classy shoes. I have them in brown, but would buy them in black, too (and any other color they came in) if I had the money. Also, Zappos customer service is the best I've ever experienced...and I worked in the customer service industry. Bravo, Zappos!

This shoe is really comfortable and good looking, and slips off and on easily. It's a great all-purpose shoe for traveling. It's formal enough looking for business, but it's also good for walking, and slips easily on and off for airports. It runs a little narrow; I have narrow feet and besides being a bit loose in the heel (which I corrected with inserts), it fits me well. It has more arch support than your usual flat, too. I haven't noticed the bad smell people have complained about, even though I wore them on a two-week trip where I walked about three miles a day. Nor have I noticed that problem with the finish wearing off, although I get the impression that this only happens with certain colors. I'd like to know what are the colors that have this problem, because I'm thinking of getting these in other colors.

Great shoe but really weird smell!
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and stylish looking, but I rated them a "4" overall because they smell weird. My feet don't normally smell, but for some reason, in these shoes, they smell terribly! Not sure why - I have many pairs of flats with no similar olfactory problems. Perhaps it's me, but I think it might have something to do with the footbed. If you are comfortable with a smelly insole and/or putting in odor-eaters, then you'll be fine. The comfort can't be beat.

I bought a pair of the burgundy with black finish shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. They're cute and go great with both skirts and pants. I wear them to the office almost every day and get lots of compliments. I'm going to order a black pair to wear when I go out dancing. LOVE them!

I kept these, but really, I’m disappointed in them. I like Privos because I can usually walk in them all day. Not with these. Very flat and no arch support. Also, they aren’t a very good looking shoe. I find them a bit frumpy.

The least well made of Privo's line- the finish wears off these shoes in about three months. No polish will fix them- I had to toss these shoes in no time. They were comfy, but not worth the price tag.

I love these boots. I am 5 feet 8 inches and they make me a little taller than my boyfriend but he loves it because they make your legs look long and sexy. I listened to the reviews and ordered a half size up and they were too big. I have a narrow foot and have a hard time finding shoes to fit. Customer service was awesome! I emailed Zappos to ask if I could exchange them for my regular size and they were on my doorstep the next day! They hadn't even received my returned boots yet. Unbelievable!!

A cute, comfy flat -
It’s true that these particular privos are not as cushy as others. But they are also slimmer and less sporty than other privos, which makes them great to wear to the office. For me, the combination of solid cute and solid comfort equals a great shoe. These are very versatile- can wear with pants or a skirt or work, and what's better, I can walk a mile or two home in them after a full day at the office.

SO comfortable -
I must admit that these are not the most attractive shoes I have owned. However, they are much better in person - I was expecting a truly atrocious granny shoe. They are extremely comfortable which is important because I will be wearing them for long hours at a time. My only quibble is that they feel a little wide for my average width feet.

Fabulous shoe -
This shoe is sooo comfortable feels like an athletic shoe but even more comfortable due to being a slip on shoe. I can walk all day in this shoe with no problems. It looks nice enough to wear to work with slacks or a skirt.

Nice shoes, but....
I really liked these shoes when I got them. They are really comfortable. However, after just a few wearings, the side of the shoe is separating from the sole! I am hoping this is just a defect since this is the first time I ever bought this brand. Also, shoes are not quiet to walk in...they almost sound like you have heels on.

I started by buying one pair of these shoes because the reviews said they were great. I now have 6 pairs, one in every color. They are soooo comfortable and look really nice whether with jeans or a skirt. Walking around all day shopping or at work, I'm good to go!!!

What can I say? Great shoe. This one comes up a little higher, which gives my foot a little more support! Great shoe; goes well with pants and skirts. As with all Privo shoes, I had to order one half size smaller than my actual shoe size.

Same size, 2 different fits -
I purchased the Red/Black, size 5M. I loved them so much I bought the Black ones. The Red/Black fit perfectly but the Black feel much looser, bigger overall. I would like to get the Chestnut colour but won't take the chance.

I truly love the comfort this shoe gives. I must say at first I did not like the look of the shoe so I started with one pair first it grew on me. Now I have three different colors. At the time the store had four colors one was red and I do not wear red shoes. I am liking the other two colors I see on your site. This shoe is like wearing sneakers. Great shoes.

My recent purchase was actually my 3rd pair of Privo shoes. I love them. They truly are comfortable and modern looking. Great for working women with sensitive feet who cannot were heels all day long but still want to look nice and feminine.

High back -
The back of this shoe comes up very high and dug into my Achilles tendon, but an inside heel pad brought it to a better point. Overall a comfortable and attractive shoe.

Oso is oh so comfy -
SO... I bought a couple of pairs of Clarks based on some recommendations. Good idea! I work all day then go to night classes for a master’s degree AND I live in a big city that requires walking a lot. SO... I needed something dressy (for me, they're dressy) for work, but something that I could walk about a mile in without screaming/cursing/generally hating the world. These do the trick. Now... these are not the most beautiful shoes you will ever find, but they're not ugly either. They’re... just... plain. My one complaint is that around the edges it has already started to pucker/ripple a bit, but not enough for anyone but me to notice. HOWEVER... they are comfy. I came to realize pretty quickly that in order to have comfy shoes, I had to give up some style.

Shopping for my second pair -
These shoes went from store to street tours in 3 cities without a break-in period. Perfect airport shoes, comfortable for all the walking, quick slip-off, and possible to wear with or without socks. Cute casual wrinkle design without the actual flimsy material. I've had the Privo Osos for a few months and they are my go-to everyday shoes; I'm ordering a second color now.

Not For Me -
What a disappointment. I've always had good luck with Clarks brands, but not with this one. Most reviews say that the shoe runs large, but my toes are crammed to the end of this 8 1/2 shoe. The toe curves up a bit and makes it additionally uncomfortable. After 3 hours of walking in the Privo Oso, my toes and balls of my feet were aching. But the worst part about the shoe is how the back comes up too high around my heel and digs into it when I walk. Plus, I think the leather looks very cheap and overall the shoe looks a little matronly. For the price, I definitely don't feel like I got my money's worth. They're not for me.

These shoes are great! I would have given them 5 stars for comfort, but I had some rubbing on my left heel when I wore them for the first time. (But I am pregnant, so my feet might have gotten a little swollen during the day). These shoes are super light-weight, and the padding is wonderful. I bought them in black, and I think that they are cuter in person than they are in the picture.
