Not good for high instep or wide -
Great looking shoe - my 4 year old cried because we had to return them and he absolutely loved them, but he has a high instep and could not get them on without my help - the tongue cannot be released at all, but at the very top with one velcro strap and pretty tough to get a foot like his in - so we're trying one where the whole tongue can be loosened. I don't think it is a small shoe though, once his foot is in.

I ordered this shoe online and had it in 2 days, the price is a little high but my 2 & 1/2 year old grandson just loves shoes and he loves this one as well, he will stomp his feet to shoe people how the shoe lights up.

Excellent Customer Service -
Without even a hesitation of thought, Zappos has the most exceptional customer service. I received a pair of shoes and I needed to exchange them for a larger size. When I spoke with the customer service department I was emailed a shipping label and within 24 hours I had a new pair of shoes even though I had not mailed back the first pair yet. When I received the second pair one of the shoes wasn't lighting up as it should so I called customer service again and they sent me a brand new pair within 24 hours. I was also told to keep the pair that didn't work, which I then donated to charity. A couple of days later I received an email for $10 off my next order and was completely shocked. I am so happy to have found a company that prides themselves on their customer service. I tell all my friends to shop on Zappos because of it.

Skechers w/ lights -
My 2 1/2 yr old LOVES these. They light up really well and are colorful. They are a little bulky but he does well in them, they are well made and sturdy. They are definitely his favorites. Go for it!
