First Impressions May Be Deceiving!
I now had three training sessions with my new Soul 7s. Each session the skate has improved. Initial fit was stiff, but is getting better. Maybe because the material of the boot is leather and not the usual man made materials. They are decent looking skates. A bit refined compared to many brightly colored designs out there. The ride is a bit smoother and faster compared to my old Exo skates. I do have two complaints. The removable insole is very basic. Just a thin piece of foam. It does not cushion the soles of the feet very well. Also, the wheels/bearings are generic - no name brand. These skates are not high end, but they are not discount store either. So I would think K2 could have paid more attention to these two items.
