Pain free shoes -
These shoes are so comfortable I am now pain free. My back stopped hurting an hour after I put on the shoes. I am walking longer without having to sit and rest. Best shoes ever. I highly recommend them.

THESE ARE FABULOUS!
Again, I have surgery and these are so comfortable now before surgery I will be glad to have them after. They have room to wear socks and that is what I need. Another great shoe from Earth! Thanks so much Zappos. Will be back for another color soon. These are very, very, very comfortable.

Great walking shoe!
Would have been all 5 stars if there was more velcro as some of the other reviewers mention. It wouldn't have taken much to improve on this small design flaw and I can't believe Earth didn't catch this during testing. I originally bought a 7.5, exchanged them for a 7.0 which works perfectly. I have a very narrow foot but once I went down a half size, the width was great. I think if you size it to the length of your foot properly, the width will take care of itself for most people.
Mine have a satin like fabric lining the neoprene interior parts, so I think that takes care of the itchy neoprene some other reviewers remarked on.
I ordered the Bayleaf and love the neutral look of it. The overall look is clunky/chunky and won't win any sexy awards!

Great work shoes -
I am a full-time barista and had a really hard time finding good work shoes after I broke my leg last year. The negative-heel in this shoe works great for my broken leg. They are super-comfortable and I love that they are vegan. They definitely stand up to a hard 8 hours on my feet. I've had them 6 months and are still in great shape. I will only by Earth shoes for work from now on. They are worth the price.

These shoes saved my trip to Egypt.
I thought my proven trail-runners would be the perfect shoe for touring, but under conditions of scorching heat, uneven terrain & being on my feet for hours, I developed blisters under 8 toes. I switched to wearing these. This shoe took the pressure off the forefoot allowing me to continue in comfort. The perforations in this style provide nice ventilation and I was able to wear them with slacks for a more "dressed-up" look.

Wearing these shoes makes you feel like you are flying! They are very lightweight and just give you a little "bounce" when you walk. They have excellent arch support; I luv ‘em.

This is an extremely comfortable shoe right out of the box. It is soft, adjustable in the heel and across the instep. It runs wide, so you can wear socks with it. My diabetic feet frequently swell and are very pressure-sensitive. I have been able to wear these shoes, every day with no problems at all, even when I can't get my feet into my Earth Solar or Earth Kharma models. I plan to buy another pair so I can switch off. Just like walking around in slippers!

A bit too wide?
Great shoes. Very attractive and comfortable. Not enough velcro, it would be nice to cinch them up a bit more due to the only flaw as I see it. They are too wide! I have wide feet, but these are too wide for me. Sad though. I love the look!!!

I like it...
but I like the Midway better. This one fits a little more loosely than I like. It would be wonderful for wide feet. I have lost a little weight and my feet are skinnier, so this shoe is a little too wide for me. It is wonderful otherwise. It only weighs about 1/2 a pound, perfect negative heel, promotes balance, correct form when walking... just wonderful! It is a little dressier looking than the Midway, but Earth has dressy shoes for that. I also have a dressy Earth shoe which I wear when I need a dressy shoe. It seems smaller than marked.

Very Comfortable and Ugly-Cute!
I am old enough to have worn the original Earth shoes in the 70s, and am glad they're still around in so many varieties. These shoes are super comfortable and supportive, although I can see that if you had very narrow feet the Velcro adjustment might not be enough. Anyhow, I have gotten many compliments on these and am looking forward to purchasing more Earth shoes in the future.

Great shoe but needs a design change -
I loved the shoe, but my foot is a bit narrow for the Earth shoes. The strap didn't have sufficient velcro on it to withhold when I folded the strap over to fasten it to the shoe. This was very disappointing because otherwise this would be a keeper.

I am a big fan of Earth. I have been sportin' these for about two weeks and in my opinion these do not have the classic negative heel feel to them, only slightly. Super easy to pack for an extra pair of shoes for traveling and they go with just about anything casual. I would buy them again. Good summertime shoes!

Greatly disappointed -
After reading the glowing comments, I couldn't wait to try these on. I was very disappointed because they are wide and could have been adapted except that the strap only had a small strip of velcro at the end. I couldn't get enough traction to keep the strap closed. I would have been walking out of the shoes frequently. Therefore, I couldn't adjust the shoe to be acceptable. If only… They appeared to have so much potential. So light and flexible, but appeared to offer great support.

The BEST shoes for traveling -
Bought these for a trip to Rio for Carnaval and must say that they exceeded all my expectations. These shoes are very light and flexible so they're easy to pack. But the most important part is that I danced the samba in these from 9 PM to 4 AM and had no problems with my feet, legs, back, etc., at all. These shoes were also great for hiking, and when they were drenched in a rain storm, they air-dried quickly, with no affect at all on the material. These are terrific!

Cuter in person! Casual skirt worthy -
You may want to consider ordering a size up. I wear a true 6B and was barely able to get these on my foot (with socks). I sold them to my friend with size 5 feet and they were a perfect fit (just like the Earth Logans I sold her)! We thought they had an Asian look, and may look cute with those "granola" hippie skirts and all yoga wear. Overall, it’s pretty adorable.

Earth shoes not for me -
Loved the vegan option. For some reason, the earth shoe style resulted in lower back pain. Also, the back heel is rather high causing some friction. Sad to say, I haven't worn them very much.

AAAHHHHHH! Relief at last!
I have had a lot of foot, knee and back pain and last April had a difficult hip replacement. I stand on my feet in a retail non-carpeted store for almost 9 hours 5 days a week. I'm always miserable half way through the day. This shoe was really a departure from anything I've ever owned, but I was desperate! Thank you Earth shoes for the relief you've given me and thank you Zappos for carrying such a variety and being soo speedy in getting them to me. These shoes are very lightweight, true to size and somewhat wider than the medium width that they claim. They have great arch support, but you need a little gel cushion in the heel portion for comfort. I will get another pair so I have some for home. The reviews helped me tremendously - something you don't get in a regular shoe store! I usually have to virtually rebuild the innersole of a shoe and still have toe and arch pain, but didn't with these. Thank you again Zappos!! I've told my friends about you yet again!!!
P.S. Regret buying Brooks sneakers from you 2 weeks ago because they are not one tenth as good as these!

Never judge a book by its cover -
I initially saw this shoe and did not think it was a nice-looking shoe. I tried it on and it was the MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE I HAVE EVER WORN. That is saying a lot because I am very picky about my shoes. I normally like to wear a tennis shoe because I run a lot of errands and like to have something comfortable, but this shoe is by far more comfortable than any tennis shoe I have ever worn. It feels great with socks or without. I really like earth shoes.

Ok, so they look a little funny. I promise that you won't care. You'll hardly know they're on your feet! So light, so comfy, so odd!
I love different shoes; these are definitely out there. But, I walked miles Christmas shopping with my girlfriends and I was the ONLY one without tired feet! Don't be afraid- give them a try!

A Vegan Shoe?
I love these shoes. They are comfortable, and they are good for you. They are not a dressy look, but I don't dress up that often. For me, it's not so much that they are vegan but that they are so comfortable and the design causes your posture to improve and walk heel toe, which is they way we are supposed to walk. Thank you!
