Love 'em -
Comfortable and professional, easily go with both jeans and my work attire. Best for walking around, not as comfy for standing around in for long periods of time. Not great at all for wearing to concerts! I was surprised with tickets for Phil Lesh and the Allman Bros and by the end of the night, my feet were screaming (I did a fair amount of dancing, but also a fair amount of standing on a grassy hill).
These become more comfortable with wear. A classic that's designed to last!

Perfect teacher shoe -
I'm on my feet all day keeping up with a classroom of 7 year olds so I needed to invest in a pair of serious workday shoes - Dansko really came through. These are my first pair of Danskos (I never thought I'd buy clogs!) and by the end of a long work day, my feet are free of the usual aches, pains, etc. that I've become accustomed to. I highly recommend this style for anyone who has to be on their feet all day long. Also, I wear a half size and ordering up made for a perfect fit.

Great shoe...but takes some time -
Great shoe for the healthcare professional. Easy to clean. The only set back is they take some time to break in. Suggestion: Wear them around the house first for a few days, and take an extra pair of shoes to work. After about a week or two they will be the BEST investment you ever made in shoes. :-)

Nice shoes - I am an emergency nurse so I get to stand and walk a lot. These shoes are very good looking, and comfortable for a moderate use per day, but at the end of the day I feel like I ran a half a marathon. A lot of people say they are really comfortable, maybe my feet are just too sensitive, and I am too tall. But, I still love them. Get a size larger than your usual size. They run a size smaller. And if you ever want to buy shoes, Zappos is the way to go.

Worth every penny -
This shoe is everything it's hyped up to be. At first I resisted paying this price for a pair of shoes, but they are so worth it. I am in the medical profession and my feet and back used to kill me by the end of the day. Now I feel as fresh as when I begin my shift. I haven't found a similar shoe yet.

Great shoes!
I just bought the Dansko professionals for work, and hopefully when the weather is cooler they will be great with jeans too. Right now they are still a little stiff, and rub a little on the top of my foot. I think it is just because they are new and I look forward to breaking them in. I have a feeling they will be one of my favorites!

So far so good -
I work in an operating room where I do a lot of standing in one spot for long periods of time as well as a lot of walking. So far this shoe has performed very well and seems to be well worth the high price. No more aching feet at the end of a day in a new pair of shoes!!

I have 2 other pair of these which I love, but the pair I just received are extremely tight across the top of my foot. I had red marks across my feet after a day at work. I guess I will have to take them to a specialty store to have them stretched. The front and back of the shoe were loose.

The best work shoe!
I am a teacher who is on my feet all day. I was plagued with plantar fasciitis from years of wearing bad shoes. I was hesitant about purchasing these Dansko Professionals since they are not the most beautiful shoe in the world, but once I slipped them on, I knew they were made for me. I have high arches and these cradled my foot so well that in just a couple weeks of wearing them all day on cement floors, my plantar fasciitis is nearly gone. I originally bought a size 39, but returned them for a 38 (I usually take a size 8, but I have wide feet so I wasn't sure). They fit like a dream. My heel lifts off just a bit, as it should and I could walk for miles and not feel the strain and pain of tired feet. For anyone who is on their feet all day and needs a better support shoe, give these a try! You won't be disappointed.

I originally ordered the black ones and they were so comfortable that when I saw the new color, I had to order those as well. It is true that they do run a bit small. I wear US size 6 and the 37 size is what works for me. After spending the day in these shoes I get home and am in no hurry to kick them off.

This shoe was exactly as described. It's a great casual shoe and very comfortable. Looks good with jeans, cords, or other casual pants. I usually wear a 5 1/2 -- but since this show didn't come in that size, I ordered a 6 in brown leather. Because I wear them with socks, the fit was perfect. And I love shopping at Zappos!

Doctor Recommended -
This is my second pair of Dansko Professionals. My foot doctor told me that I should primarily wear this shoe. They are very comfortable and I have gotten very good wear out of them. The quality is excellent. Because they are hand made the size can vary and you may have to try a couple of pairs before you get the perfect fit.

I think this is a great shoe. I am impressed by the Dansko product. They seem to feel better if I wear socks ( a little tighter, maybe?)
I love dealing with Zappos. Their return policy is great and the free shipping is wonderful. I have not placed orders with other companies because of their excessive shipping charges. So, Zappos get all my business.

Pretty darn good -
For years, I’ve been wearing a size 40 Dansko and loving life. But then again, I’ve always worn oiled leather Danskos. So when I decided to switch it up a bit, I was surprised to learn that I would need a 41 to be able to tolerate this much stiffer style. Very stiff but I’m sure they'll be great when they break in.

These are great shoes. They don't seem to need any breaking in. The color wasn't quite what I expected since they look more blue on the website picture but I love the color anyway. I was worried about the way they slide up and down at the heel until I read the description from Zappos and some of the customer reviews informing me that they are supposed to do that. I will be able to wear them with or without socks. Also, I ordered them on a Saturday evening and should have gotten them on Tuesday. However, Zappos got them to me on Monday afternoon! The customer service from Zappos is unbelievably good. I never saw service like this anywhere else and I do a lot of on-line shopping.

As soon as I slip on these shoes, my back pain subsides substantially. Never had a better pair of shoes. I have the professional style in several colors and don't wear anything else anymore.

These are fantastic shoes. If you do not have a pair of Danskos you need to get them. I have a high instep and these fit just right. Also Zappos shipped them out so quickly and they arrived in perfect condition.

Great shoes!
I have been having lots of lower back pain and saw that Dansko had helped others so I purchased a pair in preparation for a vacation with lots of walking. Of course they arrived lightning fast and I've been wearing them ever since with no back pain. They are more comfortable than the Eccos I had been wearing and they definitely provide lots of support when walking. I highly recommend them.

These are great for standing and walking all day. I'm on my feet all day in the hospital sometimes 14 - 15 hours. I ordered 2 pairs a size apart and kept the larger one, but they did stretch after a couple of weeks of daily use. Next time I may just order the smaller size.

Fabulous comfort -
I bought a pair of these from another store (before I heard of Zappos) and I love them! I don't like having shoes that fit too snugly on my feet because I have diabetes, but these fit wonderfully. I have been able to walk long distances in them from the very beginning without any breaking-in period. The leather has a smooth matte finish that goes well with jeans or any other slacks. My next pair will definitely come from Zappos.

I live in Texas, and with his order going to Michigan, he has to deal with much colder weather, he has a greater need for his comfort in their colder weather.
