Wide Widths Please -
Salomon makes GREAT shoes. I think though they only make one trail shoe in a wide width. I loved the Walker Softshell, but too narrow for my feet. If they made this shoe in a wide width, there would be nothing in my closet but Salomon's.

I had been looking for a boot this style for years that had a sole that would be good indoors and out. It did not disappoint in looks. I wear a size 8 and the 38 seemed too snug. I ordered a 39 which was better; however, both pairs were flawed. The black dye in the leather was all over my hands and the box after a few minutes of trying them on. I could not risk that as I have light carpets in home and upholstery in my car. Very disappointing as the boots are really cute. My first experience with Dansko and I am a bit surprised at the lack of quality in the dye job for such an expensive brand.

Nice, but.
Shoe looks better online than out of the box. Nice design with the speed laces. However, I have two bones to pick with the shoe.
The speed laces work well, but the locking mechanism is designed such that as you try to hide it under the Velcro flap, you almost always loosen the laces.
Also, the shoe has a slight tendency to rub the top of your foot—the only aspect of comfort and fit that is not perfect. It is not painful, but is mildly annoying.
On the positive side—very light weight, very cushioned insole. I have flat feet and the insole is arched sufficiently that I don’t need an orthotic.
I would recommend this shoe. I would also recommend that Solomon consider a slight redesign of the lace system so that it is easier to lock the laces and to stow the mechanism under the Velcro flap.

Better than slippers -
This is the second pair of soft-shell walkers that I have purchased from Zappos. I ordered these as a spare pair. I was afraid they would no longer be available. I LOVE these shoes! Light weight, good support and unique looks! What else could one want?

Right, Light and Comfortable -
Just purchased Solomon's Softshell walker. They are the lightest, most comfortable and supportive athletic shoe I have ever purchased. As a skier I know Solomon's reputation for great ski accessories. I took a chance that they would also make a quality athletic shoe… They didn't disappoint me. I highly recommend this product.

Great shoe -
It's a comfortable shoe with great arch support. They are easy to put on and take off. I didn't even need time to break them in. I put them on and wore them all day.

 |  | We were having problems finding shoes for my son recently for a new job he was starting. When I placed the order, I forgot to choose express shipping and so I called to add that to my order. The person I spoke with was so great, she upgraded the shipping at no cost and said if these didn't work to call back and they'd get another pair to us before the deadline. Fortunately, the shoes fit perfectly and he looked great for his new job. I have experienced this great service before and will continue to order from your company.
