Extremely comfortable! After Zappos has patiently sent me 10 pairs (and accepted returns) of trail shoes in my search for something comfortable with the right fit, I finally found it! These feel great, nice arch support, roomy toe box, a little wide on my narrow heels, but I really like them! Thank you so much Zappos!

I bought these shoes last winter and they are still holding up great. They look good. They are comfortable and true to size. My husband bought the non-waterproof style because he was worried about getting his feet wet. We both like our Salomon shoes a lot. They were recommended by a friend, and a few seasons later we still love our shoes.

On my third pair because the soles don\'t last when used for road-running. But I keep buying them because they are comfortable, no break-in, good support, good waterproofing.

These are great shoes in every way except one. The laces break! I have gone through two pair already with broken laces and these shoes aren’t cheap. I hadn’t even had the shoes for very long! They are not easy to replace. There is a kit, but it takes forever to lace up the shoe. That’s if you can actually do it.

These shoes are so comfortable! And like others reviews said, there is literally no breaking in period, they were great from day 1. And they are feather light, perfect for the trails. Very supportive also.

Very comfortable and supportive -
This shoe is great! Supportive and waterproof, but still flexible and comfortable -- I just laced them on and went a few miles. Some GORE-TEX shoes I've tried are very stiff, but not these. And I love the quick lacing system.

I have searched for a comfortable shoe that I can wear hiking as well as on the road and these are perfect.They are light but they give plenty of support on the trails. I love them.

Shoe was comfortable out of the box. This was the first real sports shoe that provided the right support in all the right areas. I have a higher than normal arch and this shoe was great.

BEST...SHOE...EVER -
Most comfortable "tennis shoe" ever owned. Sturdy support like advertised, decent arch support for high arches. I have already ordered three pair in different colors. I have a wide foot at the top, 8 1/2, so I was reluctant to order the B width, but I did so based on other reviews. Plenty of room in the toe box and the colors are awesome!! Highly recommended if looking for a trail shoe with a little support. Zappos customer service is awesome. From the impeccable website to delivery, hands-down the best customer service in the country. Keep on!!!!

Great summer hiker -
These shoes are very comfortable. The only drawback I see is because of the convenient Salomon lacing system, one cannot tighten specific areas of the shoe (like the forefoot) like with conventional laces.

I purchased these shoes for hiking and have been out 4 times with them on 6-10 miles hikes. I found that I need more support on the steep climbs, descents, and rocky paths. Although they are waterproof, I found I need to wear low gaiters to keep socks from wicking moisture into the shoes. These shoes are better suited for light hiking. I will also use them for mountain biking. I like the style and look of the shoe.

Can’t ask for more -
Just got these shoes, so not sure how they will hold up, but out of the box, I love them. Very comfortable, nice looking (I have the blue, aluminum, light gray), quite light and non-bulky, yet seem very supportive. I must also say the delivery from Zappos was excellent! I ordered in the afternoon and they arrived by the afternoon of the next day... with just regular delivery.

Very well cushioned, feels great on my feet. I have wide feet and Salomons always fit me perfectly. I ended up buying multiple pairs. The only thing I dislike is that the green is fairly bright, they don't blend in well.

These are by far my favorite sneaker. These are the first pair of sneakers I’ve had that have a GoreTex upper and I will never buy anything else. They are perfect for walking through muddy fields and trail running in the winter. They are extremely comfortable and I love the lacing system. I usually wear an 8.5-9 and found the 8.5 to fit perfectly. I wear them constantly and when it comes time to replace them, I will definitely be buying another pair of Salomons.

Great for Agility!!!
I love these shoes. They are great for my feet that have bad heel spurs. I wear them to run my dog @ agility trials. My feet are comfortable almost the whole day & dry to boot! :)

I bought this shoe based on one of the other positive reviews. So far, so good. My main issue is I have extremely high arches and wear orthotics, so running was a true test for this shoe. It passed!! No knee pain, and overall the shoes are very comfy and supportive. The lace thingies are a bit weird, I haven't quite figured them out, but at least they don't come undone like regular laces. The shoe looks really sharp, too.

Great Winter Shoes -
I love these shoes. The size 8 fits great. I sometimes wear 8 and sometimes 8.5, but the 8 felt better to me. They have great traction in the ice and snow and have been waterproof through the rain. They look great and are very comfortable with good arch support.

Very large heel cup. I normally wear a womens 11, but the 11 was WAY too big. So, I ordered a 10.5. Much better fit in terms of length and width, but still my heel kept sliding up, no matter how tight I pulled the laces.

Awesome shoe!
I love a shoe with a good arch and this one delivers, without adding my own support! Looks nice & rugged, too, even in size 10. I wanted a winter walking shoe and have been thrilled so far. I have plenty of room for thick socks, that's why I'm saying it runs a little large.

These shoes rock! The support in the soles is like no other, especially the area to counteract supination - that one took a little getting used to, but I don't notice it when I'm on the trail. Like many others, I had to get these one-half size smaller than I usually wear.

Finally I found a pair of sneakers that really are comfortable. I walk a lot and wore my Reeboks out and have struggled finding something that would work for my feet. I think these are the key. I can't believe how nice these are right out of the box and the shipping was so fast, thank you Zappos. I just ordered these yesterday and already have them! Walking Shoes -

I love these shoes!
I love everything about these shoes. First of all, I wanted something with no leather (I'm vegan), so I thought my choices were limited. NOPE. Someone told me to contact Zappos. I had never ordered from Zappos before and when I called I got a voice so perky and happy that I was sure it was a recording. NOPE. Rather a live, wonderful person who had great customer service for me. I have been wearing them daily since they arrived and I will never buy tennis shoes again. I will always buy from Zappos in the future! I have high arches, hammer toes, do dog agility and live on a ranch that requires a lot of chores. I always wear these shoes and the stability, comfort, and hardiness of them is fabulous. I am getting another pair as soon as I can. I highly recommend them! Oh, and I put my orthotics in them with no problem and LOVE the lacing system. You don't even have to tighten it if you just want to walk around a bit and they are like slip-on shoes.
