Very comfortable, just break it in! Boy, this shoe has a stiff sole to start! I got a pair to take on a week vacation to Washington D.C. and found out they killed my feet to start. By the end, they were great. The difference? A good pounding around that softened them up. An excellent sneaker, I'm a New Balance buyer for life!

A good shoe that offers good support and comfort. The width runs a bit smaller than you would expect though. So think about this when you select your size.

Comfortable and practical -
This is a serviceable everyday sneaker with a comfortable fit, a conservative look, and a reasonable price. While I'd like more spring in the sole, I am overall satisfied with these shoes.

Zappos Zapped These Right Out -
How do they do it? These were ordered on July t and were on my doorstep on July 7. My husband has a wide foot and is hard to fit. I was able to order the wide width in these New Balance shoes and they fit beautifully. My husband was skeptical about ordering shoes online due to his fit issues, but was pleased that these fit and also had the option of free return if they didn't. I'm a NB fan and as usual, these are a really good looking, comfortable shoe.

New Balance dilemma -
I'm always amazed at the vast differences from one new balance shoe to the next. Sometimes the fit and comfort is terrible, and then the next (same size) is perfect. I have an off road shoe by New Balance that is the best I ever bought. But, this last shoe, although "OK" is far inferior. As I realize shoes are for differing purposes, the fit and feel should not be so diverse. I never know if I should buy a size larger and/or smaller with New Balance shoes. That's why I have returned some. However, I am grateful NB is in the business of larger shoes because if not for them, I would have a harder time finding reasonable shoes. Thank you.

Walking shoe -
The shoe is a little smaller than sizes I have bought in other shoes, but no discomfort. Once broke in, it will be very comfortable.

New Balance's MW644 -
I wanted a sneaker in brown and Zappos said to order both sizes and return the pair I did not want. I need the wide and stand in them 12 hours a day. I found them to be very comfortable. With thinner socks I probably could have taken a half size smaller but decided against that. I am very pleased with the product but more so with the service from Zappos, and would recommend them as a first rate company to deal with.

New Balance is best for wide feet -
I saw the shoe in a sporting goods store, but they did not carry the wide width that I require. I love the shoe - goes with khaki, fits so comfortably.

A little smaller than listed -
I read that this shoe came a little smaller than marked, so I upped the size a half size. I wish that I had upped the width a size also as the shoe I got feels a little narrow. I like the support and the feel of the sole. Shoe looks great.

Great Shoe Great Company -
This is the second pair of shoes I have ordered from Zappos. I received this pair in two days with regular shipping. I am sold on Zappos.com for customer service. Runners might want a 1/2 size larger, but it’s true to size for walking.

My problem feet really liked these shoes -
I took a risk and ordered shoes I never tried on before, simply because of Zappos' free shipping policy. My size is 11.5 4E and I don't find them in a walking shoe locally very often, even though Houston is a big town. Zappos got them here in 24 hours and they fit great. I like shoes that fit right out of the box since I don't think you break in an athletic shoe before it breaks your foot. I am a Nordic Walker--usually at a 3 mph pace. I recommend these shoes (in the wider size) because of the support and great toe box.

MW644 a little snug at first -
I tried these on and almost sent them back because they felt tight around the toe box but I decided to wear them around the house on the carpet to see if they would break in. They eventually did and I wear them now on the treadmill and general walking. New Balance does need to provide a wee bit more room around the toes.

I intend to buy another pair.
I bought the tan (beige?) version in a half size bigger and a half size wider than I usually do. Glad I bought this shoe. I like the look and fit. I hope they keep making it.

Darn Good Shoe!
Very good buy for the money. Looks good, fits good and if the MW644 is like the other New Balance shoes I have worn, it will be a tough long life shoe.

I tried on all sorts of trail runners, and these fit the best, were the most comfortable, and had the best quality construction (even compared to some other New Balance shoes!). Adidas had a good looking shoe, but it was too tight and the one size larger was too large, but the NB got my fit just right.

I've been having SO much trouble with the bottoms of my feet. As soon as I started wearing these, I had less and less trouble. I've been wearing them with Physician-prescribed orthotics. These never made a difference with other shoes. Now the new combination is perfect. Get these - you won't be disappointed.

Solid New Balance product -
I've been a fan of NB footwear for more than 20 years and these shoes do not disappoint. Sizing is accurate, not generous. Comfort level is good. Arch support is fair. Shoe is a bit stiff right off the bat--stiffer than other products. Having said that, I am a difficult size 15 and would definitely buy again.
