A full size too small -
A great retro look. Mostly comfortable, but please note that I wear orthotics. The leather makes these shoes fairly warm so don't plan on wearing them on hot summer days. I first tried my normal size, which felt small. I ordered the next half size up, again too small. The shoe that fit is a full size larger than what I normally wear.

Good shoes!
Received these shoes in a hurry... they look great! They're comfortable as long as you're pounding the pavement for long distances. Sacrifice a little comfort for going green - it's not a bad tradeoff.

Very Happy, Again!
I received my second order from Zappos.com - my third pair of shoes. A winner again! Not only did I receive my order in record time, the shoes were exactly what I saw online - color, fit, and features.
The shoes (Simple Sno Tire Cub (Hemp) 10 D - Medium) are very comfortable, with or without socks.

I got a 10 and it fit perfectly. They're a little hard, but nothing an insole couldn't fix.

Great shoe!
Fits well, looks great. I bought the natural color, so be aware that it easily gets dingy. Overall great shoe. The only drawback is that it gets dirty easy, but its off-white, so that is to be expected. I've only had for a short time, but they seem well made and durable.

Cute shoe with hemp uppers. My green shoebeds with arch support fit in very well.

We love the fact it is recycled. It's more comfortable than converse a nice looking casual shoe. Zappos had the shoe to our door in 2 days.

The Sno Tire is fine casual shoe. The styling, as always with Simple shoes, is great. I do have a few issues with the shoes that may or may not be an issue with anybody else. The Sno Tire is a bit narrow for my feet. Since the shoes run small, an E width would be better on these. The other issue may be my pet peeve,
but the laces are synthetic and don't stay tied. I'd prefer something like the hemp laces on the Toemorrow.

Ordered 1/2 size bigger than normal, still too small. Returned for a full size bigger. Zappos easy return! Shoe fit fine on my left foot but the right was squeezing in on the outside of my foot. Tried different insoles to no avail. Decided to go without insoles, fits fine. Good quality construction and materials. No support. Less than no support without insoles. Still good for kicking around. I traditionally have a hard time finding athletic/casual shoes. I usually stick with Johnston & Murphy.

Definitely order a half size larger than normal. Thanks to the other reviews this is what I did and they fit perfectly. A great causal shoe. I ordered the black after I got the brown, because they felt so good.

Nice, comfy shoe. Good basic, casual style. Toe is a bit snugger than I am used to but I imagine it will stretch a bit. I bought a size 7 and would say it’s true to size to a bit snug. My Chuck Taylor's in a 7 are a tad larger so it’s probably a matter of preference for fit. Fast shipping, quick and easy. Thanks Zappos!

I got these as a gift in my normal size, but they are definitely on the small side. Might be a summer shoe w/ thin socks. Hopefully I can wear out the sole so I can order a new pair in a bigger size, but since the sole is made from a car tire, it might take 50,000 miles before that happens.

Fits well, looks good. Dressy enough for work and casual enough to lounge around in. Feels a little flat, lacking arch support. Was happy to have an eco-friendly alternative in a shoe.

I had ordered Simple shoes before which were true to my size. These evidently run a little small. I'm a size 10, but should have ordered a 10 and a half. Otherwise I like the idea of a "green" shoe made of recycled materials. Overall a pretty cool-looking shoe.

These shoes are great. I love the style and the color... is a bit greener than the photos. They seem to run small. I usually wear an 11 or 11.5, but I needed a 12 in these. Kinda wish they were a 12.5 though.

This shoe runs very true to size and is fairly flat on the inside. It's extremely comfortable and made of some terrific environmentally friendly materials. i really like them!

Cool, man.
Finally, a casual pair of sneaks that look just as good with a dress shirt as they do a t-shirt. They’re light and comfy, and no break-in period. Only two downsides: no arch support and very little cushioning. No biggy, I always add my own insoles anyway.

Ohio Man looking for very flat or negative-heel shoe finally scores with Sno Tire. Had not actually been looking for sustainable-civilization features, but so much the better. Very light, yet solidly comfortable for all-day standing job. Absence of heel is good for Achilles tendons, hamstrings. My kind of look: semi-sneaker.

Best Shoes Ever -
These things are incredibly comfortable, ohhh man they’re great. The environmental thing is cool but probably a little gimmicky...Just the same it’s way cool to have tires for your outsoles and the styling is top notch. Two things to be aware of: they run about a half size small, so order a 1/2 size larger than normal...Also the laces have a bad habit of coming untied if you don't pull them really tight. No big deal though, overall these shoes are awesome.

Black Sno Tires -
Sometimes I wear a 9 and sometimes I wear a 10, but I'm generally a 9.5. I expected these to be too small when I opened the box, but the 9.5 was literally perfect. I've only had these for a few days and they already feel like my own- no "breaking-in" necessary. They're extremely lightweight and comfortable, but not flimsy by any means. Also, they look pretty good with anything! I'm quite pleased.
