Shoes were a gift for my mother -
My mother lives in these shoes. Loves them! Bought a half size larger than her regular size and it was perfect!

Airless -
I bought this shoe because I thought they were cute and that they looked comfortable. For the price I thought they would be like walking on air, but they are really not that comfortable. They're ok ...I could have sent them back...

Fabulously cute and comfy -
This is the first pair of Arcopedico shoes I bought and I am delighted. This shoe is so flexible, leather is very soft and molds to your feet shape. They have a great arch support. The first time I put them on I wore them for the whole day around town and my feet felt great. These shoes have such a cute shape and I love the green color. I have trouble finding the shoes that fit and these fit like a glove, so I will get them in red, too. I definitely became a big fan of Arcopedico shoes!

No need to break these in.
While I realize this style of shoe isn't the MOST attractive, it goes well with jeans. For me they are super comfortable. I picked up a pair last year in Naples Fl to wear on the tile floor for some cushion. They have become my favorite walking shoe. No rubbing or binding. Now, this black pair I just purchased has a bit of an issue in the heel I am hoping wears down. Otherwise it is comfortable for my wider feet.

I found this shoe to be very comfortable. I was surprised that is has a slightly negative heel. Although it does not appear so from the outside, from the inside it is obvious. Sometimes a negative heel causes an ache in my lower back. I simply added a wedge under the insole, and all is well. Even with this limitation I would consider purchasing in a different color. Looks great with or without socks. I wear a 5.5 or 6 and sometimes European size 36 is too large. This shoe fit perfectly in a size 36.

For narrow feet, too -
The description fails to mention the single feature for which I choose this shoe: the "toggle" decoration is actually an adjustable elastic around the top (that part that always gaps on those of us who can no longer find AA widths). The elastic also hugs the narrow heel preventing that movement that causes blisters (and often ruins the first day of my vacation). So I bought the camel-colored (size 9 shoes should try to blend in, only clowns buy "cute" shoes that size), wore them almost every day for 2 weeks in Europe and was happy with them every day, even when it rained and they got soaked. It removed a tiny spot I'd been afraid to clean.
They are too wide but seem to be shaping themselves to fit my foot; the leather is glove-soft.

Arch support not great -
I guess I need more support than those who wrote that this shoe has good arch support. I love Mephisto's orthopedic foot beds - didn't expect that - but hoped for more support than this. The toe is a little flat for me, too, pushes down on my toes some, but am hoping that a little wear will correct that.

Not easy being green -
Absolutely comfortable; but the green is absolutely, um, not pretty. According to my monitor, the green looks really rich and deep; what it is, though, is a depressingly pale pea green. So -- back they go; but I've already ordered them in black. They are comfortable, and weirdly cool looking, in a sort of funky, unstructured way. As for size, I wear an 8 or 8 1/2, and the 39 is fine.

Really like this shoe. Have in as many colors as offered. Have bunion on right foot and these shoes are very comfortable and nice looking.

New find -
I probably would never had heard of this brand were it not for Zappos (without doubt my favorite online store.) I normally wear a wide or extra wide shoe (and am cursed with bunions), so I was a little skeptical about ordering these, but, after reading reviews here, I decided to go ahead (since there's really nothing to lose with Zappos great return policy). I am glad I did, since this shoe is extremely comfortable; the glove soft leather sort of molds to your foot. I've worn these to work two days in a row now, and am not even tempted to kick them off immediately when I get home. Given the high quality construction and materials, I think these are actually very reasonably priced, and I will certainly look into buying other styles from this brand.

Nice Shoe -
Love this Arcopedico New Queen II. At first I thought this shoe was too small. However, the leather is so soft that it soon stretches oh so little. I am a (7) and this shoe is for 6 1/2-7. Lots of room in the toe box. Looks good with jeans, skirts and shorts or capris. I got the brown which is a blah color but the fit is fabulous and now I don't wear any other shoe because of the comfort. I plan on buying more colors. I put an innersole in them for my bunions and arch support and just more comfort & cushion. This helps with my arthritis in the feet. The price is somewhat high for me but foot comfort is my highest priority. I just got my husband to buy (2) pairs of shoes from Zappos. He was amazed with the service. Zappos is so helpful and considerate. I truly thank them for their help and patience. I won't buy shoes anywhere else.

Very comfortable shoe. Fits true to size, for me at least. The leather is very soft and light so it is not a very warm shoe (need to wear thick socks if in a cold climate). Seems well made and like they will wear well over time. They feel like your wearing slippers, even after being on feet/walking all day. PS - Zappos customer service is consistently excellent.

I have troublesome feet that complain about most of the shoes I wear, but my feet are completely happy in this pair of Arcopedicos. I can wear them all day long, several days in a row without sore arches or tired legs.

Trip perfect!
I recently wore these shoes on an active trip through Egypt. They remained comfortable throughout the day and looked as good when I came home as they did the day I left. I intend to get these in other colors.

Ooh - comfy!
I wore this shoe for the first time today and found it quite comfortable. There was room for my orthotics and the leather is very soft. I will probably buy another pair in a different color.

My favorite shoes -
I bought two pairs of these (brown and black) for a trip to Europe this fall. I wore them non-stop, right out of the box, with no socks. They were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I walked between 5 and 10 miles a day in these shoes without problem. They are also very quiet, and have excellent traction on cobblestones and uneven pavement. My only problem was with the black pair. The elastic cord recently broke. Zappos came to my rescue and overnighter me a replacement pair! I am a VERY happy customer, and a very big fan of these shoes. By the way, now that it's cold, I do wear them with a thin sock.

Very forgiving shoe -
This shoe will fit almost ANY foot because of their adjustment pull cord on the top. And the leather is so soft that it conforms to your foot. There could be some arch support for my liking. My foot is wide and it works pretty well.

The shoe looks great - but it felt a little smaller than it should. In particular, my toes were kind of cramped. The shoe is also not as comfortable as I had expected.

Enthusiastically recommended -
I have NO arch, a high instep (go figure), and bony feet. So, after a few hours of walking, my feet always hurt somewhere, and they're getting worse as I get older. I bought a pair of Queen II's for a 3-week trip in Europe, wore them almost constantly, and put lots of mileage on them. My feet NEVER hurt, and that made the whole trip much more enjoyable. The shoes stood up well, too: they still look good, and the rubber soles hardly show any wear. I wore the shoes in the rain, and they didn't lose their shape; also, the tread has good traction on wet, slippery pavements. One word of warning: because they're so soft, the shoes give no protection against bumps and bruises if you trip over something. I liked the adjustable toggle, but it tends to loosen after a while -- but it's easy to tighten again. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone with "problem" feet.

Great Shoe -
I have horrific back issues and am always looking for a fashion forward casual shoe. After seeing this in a catalog, I immediately came to Zappos and ordered the brown LAST EVENING AND GOT IT TODAY!! Love the comfort (sooo soft) and the style. I have wide toes and narrow heels...fit great. Just ordered another color.

These shoes are so comfortable and the leather is so soft and lightweight. Unfortunately for me - they were too large and Zappos does not have the smaller size, so I had to return them. I'll keep checking for my size.

 | | I am sure you guys hear it ALL the time about how great you are...however, what's one more compliment!? I DO tell everyone about you. For years now, I have been spreading the word about you to anyone who asks where they can find awesome shoes. I have had some recent BAD experiences with horrible customer service and it is SO refreshing (especially in the year 2008) to have the customer service one deserves from you guys. I am also in the customer service industry and care a lot about my clients and their needs. Thank you for being an amazing company and always staying on top of keeping me happy! Yes I am a princess, but I only expect what we should all expect to get treated with kindness, respect, consideration, and above all else, appreciation for doing business with you. You rock. I hope you stay around forever and I am a loyal customer for life! | | ~ Aylah W., September 20 2008
