We were very pleased. We purchased the Teva Proton 3 shoes for a canoe trip and we were very pleased with the way they looked, fit and kept our feet free of sand and pebbles. All the other couples that were with us kept having to stop and empty their shoes out because they were full of sand and pebbles. (They had some cheap shoes bought at the canoe rental place.) We told them to go to Zappos.com and buy the Teva Proton 3s for next year and they wouldn't have to stop and empty them out because they fit snug against your skin and won't allow sand and pebbles in but, they aren’t too snug and they feel great...very comfortable. I had mine on for 9 hours the first day and 12 the second day and my feet didn't hurt at all. I love the shoes and I will wear them every time we go canoeing.

I picked this up because I wanted a super light weight shoe for walking. This just didn't quite fit the bill. Its super flat, single layer sock type construction is very smooth and comfortable, but I found it rubbed a little around my ankle. I ended up choosing another Teva, the Sunkosi.

Aqua aerobic winner - This shoe is fantastic. I use it for my aqua aerobic class. Shoe is true to size, stays on my foot and dries beautifully, keeping its shape. Not a lot of water enters the shoe. I would suspect it would be a great shoe if you are leery of walking on the ocean floor. I have tried aqua socks in the ocean and they would come right off. This is the perfect water sport shoe.

Teva is just an AWSOME brand...
I used this shoe in Hawaii and it's very comfy and it's not bad looking either. I can definitely use it as an outside shoe even though it's considered an h2o sock. There are no half sizes so I would recommend getting the bigger size if you don't like shoes hugging your feet, and if you tend to swell during the hot weather.

I walked in a river in these shoes and they are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Great Water Shoe -
Bought this shoe for waterspouts. It is great looking, sturdy and very comfortable. It is not a good shoe for walking over gravel, rocks...on land as you feel every bump and rock under your foot. Fit was great and it really has served me well.

Water shoes -
I wore them only once, while wading to a boat on the coast of Honduras. They protected my feet as I walked on the stony beach, which is the reason I bought them. They are not beautiful to look at by any means but served the purpose for which they were purchased.

Using the Teva's Proton 3 for an aqua aerobics class -
I feel very secure moving on the deck and in the pool with these shoes. They are very comfortable. They include a hanger to hang shoes when you return from the pool.

Perfect for what they were made for!
These water shoes are great for my water aerobics classes. They help me grip the bottom of the pool when running or walking or anything else that requires movement in the water. They aren't the prettiest thing there has ever been - I certainly wouldn't wear them away from the water - but they certainly do a great job for what they are intended for, griping in wet areas. The fabric is somewhat like neoprene (wet suit)and they tend to hold water inside - but you never notice that in a pool until you're out. Plus by holding water - they grip the foot better, creates a suction around the foot.
I've tried other brands and these have worked out the best for me with comfort and overall usage.
Order down if you have a half size, you'll have plenty of room. No real arch support - but then again they aren't intended to be worn shopping or away from wet areas for extended periods of time.

Good shoe, but holds water.
This shoe provided good traction and foot protection, with reasonable comfort. My only real complaint was that upon leaving the water the shoe retained a lot of water. Some could be removed with the shoe on; however removing the shoe was the only real way to get it all out. And you do need to order at least 1 full size bigger than you would expect for the right fit.

Nice looking shoes...
These water shoes are comfortable if you aren't walking too far. The back rubs a bit, but they are great looking.

Awesome shoes. I bought them so I could take windsurfing lessons on a beach with a shallow rocky bottom. They helped me stick to the board and kept my feet from getting mangled by the rocks.

Great water shoe -
The shoe consultant for Zappos helped with sizing. I wear a 6-1/2 narrow. Ordered a 7 and was perfect fit. Started water exercises. Keeps your toes from getting skinned. Very comfortable, holds foot well, dries easily, all around great shoe for water and traction on slippery surfaces. Great service and product.

No support at all -
I returned these shoes because they were too short, but they also had no support at all. In fact, they seemed to make my feet pronate even more than they already do! If you have a strong foot with a good arch, these may work for you, but they didn't for me.

Great water shoe!
This shoe has a nice, snug fit that keeps out the mud, stones, shells, etc. that I don't want to step on while lake swimming. It's very protective. While all shoes are sort of ugly, this really isn't bad looking for a protective water shoe.
I usually wear size 9, but had to reorder an 8 since they only come in whole sizes. Wish they came in half sizes.

It's All Good...
Just what I was looking for to feel safe on my slippery deck and tiled walkways. Yes, they are a tiny bit ugly - but the longer I wear them the more beautiful they are getting. My sister was impressed and ordered a pair for herself in another color. Very comfortable, easy care shoes.
You'll really like them.

Perfect for a white water rafting trip, not the best looking-but none of these water shoes are that attractive. Comfy and serve their purpose very well. True to size too.

In starting classes for water arobics the pool bottom was way too hard on my feet. These shoes filled the bill perfectly. I ordered two pairs for I will be wearing them at the beach as well.
