Captures my spirit -
This shoe is extremely cute. I bought it in mushroom. I feel like a fairy in an enchanted forest. It has a nice understated sporty look to it, which is pretty hip these days. One problem I have with it is the clasp, which is not extremely durable. This would be the perfect shoe if there was some other device in place of it. (It was extremely fun to open/close at first, but after a few days it became noticeably less optimally-functioning.) What's more, I don't like the look of the clasp. It kind of kills the shoe's charm, cheapens it somewhat. Another problem, which I didn't anticipate, is that the shoe has a sort of revealing hole on the top, which makes picking socks to wear with it kind of annoying. (And you have to wear socks with it, otherwise you will get blisters.) But on balance, it is well worth it, because this shoe is really phenomenal. I also feel it incumbent upon me to dissipate the reports of this shoe being very uncomfortable/causing blisters. This is simply not true, unless you bought shoes too small. Also, you will obviously get blisters if you don't wear socks.

Cute red shoes -
I bought these to wear on a walking trip. The back of the shoe is higher than my tennis shoes so I came home with some blisters, but overall, they are great! The arches are perfect and they are really CUTE!

Nice shoe, if you like them wide -
I found these shoes to be comfortable almost immediately. My only quibble is that they are slightly too wide for my B feet, but if I had ordered a smaller size, they would definitely have been too short. As it is, they're a little close in the toe, but still very wearable. I would discourage people with narrow feet from buying these shoes.

Great shoe!
I love this shoe. I just bought my pair this week and they have only left my feet the past 4 days when I go to bed. I read some of the reviews that said they experienced rubbing on their heel - I've had no break-in period at all and no problems. Very happy with this purchase.

Love them - I had no expectations when I tried out these shoes, and they have proven to be my most comfortable, favorite shoes for weekend wear and walking/shopping, etc. Easy to get on and off, cushy and comfy, and casual, going with jeans and casual wear. Loved them so much I bought my sister a pair for her birthday!

Forgot I had them on!
These shoes feel great! I wear them with the small black "footies" to help ward off any rubbing, but they have been great. No complaints. I'm planning to use them for an upcoming trip to Italy with lots of walking.

I'm very pleased with these shoes -- I have a very high arch and wide feet and they fit well after I exchanged the insole for one that was thinner in the forefoot. Like some other writers, I thought they were going to be too short in my regular size, but they relaxed a bit after only a couple of wearings and fit fine. The lining seam on the out side by the heel rubbed blisters the first day, but I just covered it with a little self-adhesive moleskin -- no more problems. As always, Zappos is wonderful!

These shoes were the worst shoes ever. The shoes run small and I bought half a size bigger. They made my feet bleed. Yes, bleed on the back of the foot and just under the small toe. That was almost three weeks ago and I'm stuck wearing flip flops till my feet heal. I have no time to break in shoes. I've only bought Keens in the past five years and thought I should change up a little. I'll never do that again. These shoes also have no support. I bought a pair of Keen Mary Janes about a year ago and yet no support, they needed no break in time. After the healing of my wounds I have to wait for the scars to go away. (Great...) Unless you're into pain, I would not recommend these shoes.

OUCH!!!
Oh my goodness these hurt like crazy! They seemed to fit nicely in the store, but I had blisters on both heels before five minutes of walking was up. I tried with socks, without, wearing a little at a time to break in, nothing worked. I threw them out.

Cute shoe, but don't use for long treks -
I was looking for a shoe to take with me when traveling, which could be used with shorts or skirts. The shoe is quite cute, but doesn't exactly fit my foot correctly.
First off, I wore it without socks, and my feet because sweaty after a few hours of walking.
The length was a little short, but if I went up a size, it was too wide.
Also, the heel did some definite rubbing. I used the heel pads, which helped solve the slipping.
However, the arch support worked well for me (I have flat, wide feet) and wasn't too intrusive.
It's a cute shoe for wearing around with some capris for a casual afternoon, but didn't fit the bill of taking it traveling for day-long walking.

Correct sizes please!
Love the shoes but did not heed the warning about ordering a half size larger. I ordered red size 9 the first time and I could feel my toes curling up! Zappos was super about the return and I then ordered a half size up (9.5) in blue. I have a narrow foot and definitely wore thin socks to avoid blisters. I am a teacher and will use this kind of shoe.

Comfy and cute!
I've been very pleased with these shoes. They started out feeling a little short, even though I ordered them in my normal size, but now they feel just right. I tried a half size larger and that was too big. They feel good and look great.

GREAT and COMFORTABLE!
Having broken my ankle (twice) and never seeming to find a shoe that's comfortable, I hit the gold mine with this model. This shoe is one of the few that actually feels comfortable to wear all day long. I hope there will be more styles coming down the road.

Best shoe ever!
After reading all the negative reviews, I was hesitant… but it just isn't true. I have incredibly high arches so it’s tough to find a comfortable, flat shoe with enough arch support, but these are amazing. Better than Merrell or Keen. Fits like a size 6, roomy without being wide, been wearing them for months and ready to get my second pair!

I love these shoes. The one tiny nit pick is that the ribbon to secure them is a bit delicate. Perhaps the manufacturer can make it out of a tougher material. That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. They are wonderfully comfortable.

Very cute shoe!
This shoe is very cute and stylish. It feels more like a sandal than a sports shoe. It is not a very substantial shoe...Do not think you can hike in it or walk off trail with this shoe. It has minimal support, similar to a sandal. It looks great with capris! I wear it with and without socks. The strap on the top of the shoe is capable of loosening and tightening for a more custom fit. I thought when I purchased this shoe I could use it for travel, but it does not give enough support for walking in it with heavy luggage or a backpack. But I am not disappointed as they are extremely comfortable (slipper-like) and super cute!

Size 5.5/6 review -
I love this shoe... it feels great and looks great with shorts, jeans or a skirt... for my fat short foot they seemed to work beautifully; however, I am usually a size 5.5 and ended up with a size 6... The other day they got kind of wet. And now they seem snug. So order bigger.

Just got these shoes - have a slightly wide foot and after a little breaking in (do a day with socks to avoid rubbing on those baby toes) they are fantastic. I'm a stay at home mom and these have become my new all-around shoes. So adorable!

Strap doesn’t hold up to use...
Honestly I loved these shoes. Cute and in my color! I got LOTS of compliments on them and they felt good walking, but the strap that keeps them on your feet doesn’t hold up. It’s sad to say, but I had to return these as "defective" because of that and go with a different kind. The plastic buckle has "teeth" on it that bite down on the strap to keep the strap from slipping, but after 2 months of use every day, the teeth have nearly torn through the strap. You would have NEVER known you would have this problem with a nylon strap like that, but I have to wonder if the strap was torn apart by the type of teeth they use on the buckle. I have other shoes like this with the nylon strap and buckle and have never had this problem, so something to think about because it would be VERY hard to fix this with a shoe repair store because the strap is sewn into the body. Also, it would be impossible to color match. You may want to think of that if you want these shoes long term.

Purchase snug -
These shoes are worth the short breaking in period! The area in the toes felt snug in my normal size, however, the next half size up felt the same (just that the arch support was off). I decided to keep the size I normally wear, even though they were restrictive in the toes. I first wore them with no socks... big mistake, but after breaking them in with socks, they feel great! They are my favorite shoes. The toe area stretched gently and the fit is perfect. The color selection is fantastic. "Feel Good" shoes without the clunky soles!
