This is the perfect shoe to have if you are walking all day. They feel like slippers and they are stylish as well. I always put them in my suitcase!! They are a great fit!

Really happy with these sandals. I've tried every sandal made, almost, with no luck. Ecco, Merrell, and the Mephisto Helens all had to be returned because the high arches eventually caused terrible foot pain. I have flatter feet and the footbed on these is perfect. Soft and cushy and comfortable from the get-go. They do stretch a bit and the footbed will conform to your feet after a bit of wear. I am glad I didn't go up a size, stuck with my normal size 11 (41) and it's turning out to be perfect though at first I was afraid it would be too short. As my feet "sink into" and mold the footbed it is now fine. I got both the Black Calfskin and also the Platinum Pearl, which is a very pretty shade that goes with everything. Subtle and classy. I like the slight elastic goring (invisible from the outside) that keeps the sandal from rubbing, and the toe thong is comfortable too. The footbed does tend to show dirt, but guess nothing's perfect. Quality seems high, too. I would definitely recommend these sandals.

Love these shoes, but they stretched out quite a bit and now are floppy. I wear a solid 8 and ordered a 38 first, but my toes hit the front. Then I ordered a 39 and they seemed to fit fine. After a month of wearing them often they've stretched about a whole size. I probably needed a 38.5, but they don't make that size. Not sure what I'll do.

I ordered this shoe hoping to find a cute, comfortable sandal for travel. Knowing I'd be walking a lot, I thought Mephisto's might be perfect. These sandals are very cute (I got the silver disco) and fairly comfy. My one complaint is that you kind of have to grip the bottom with your foot when you walk or else they feel like they are going to slip off. Needless to say, I could not walk for great distances in these. But, I do like them and still wear them.

I\'ve been a Euro shoe snob for many, many years, and for some reason I never tried Mephisto\'s. Well, what a mistake. I ordered a couple of styles, including Agacia. They are wonderful! It\'s like walking on air. So much better than Birkenstocks. I have a narrow foot, and this style holds my foot comfortably. I love them. Thank you Zappos for offering this style.

Cost less at Nordstrom - I went online to see if I could find this very comfortable shoe for less than what Nordstrom was charging and they seem to cost more on the web. Be careful before you buy them on the web. Shop around!

The booklet in the box says the shoe should extend 7-8mm past your toes. This results in a fairly wide shoe. The thong rubs. Surprisingly, they were more cute than comfortable.

I purchased these sandals to wear while vacationing in the western Caribbean, and they proved to be the most comfortable sandals I have ever bought, along with the "Allrounder's" I purchased! I wore them every single day, and found them to be of utmost quality and comfort. I also wear a large size, 12, and there was absolutely no extended wait to receive them when ordered, which was very refreshing.

I bought these shoes last summer (after my husband insisted it was worth the $ to buy good sandals) and am very disappointed. I do have skinny feet so that might be a big part of the problem, but they feel like they are going to slide right off. I think they may have stretched after wearing them a while. (They actually have climbing the stairs) I also find that the material at the top of the thong is curling upwards and looks funny now. It laid flat when I first bought it. The arch support is moderate, but for the price I paid, I expect perfection. Would not buy Mephistos again. Just bought some Merrells... love them!

Jury still out -
I tried this shoe on in a store and loved it while walking around in the store. However for long-term wear I'm not finding it to be so comfortable. I'm used to wearing shoes like this as I live in San Diego but for some reason my feet feel a little achy and for price of this shoe it's a little disappointing. Maybe it just takes time so it's not like I wouldn't recommend it, but for me I'm not truly satisfied.

Very disappointed because I was excited to purchase these. Too short. Very unforgiving toe. I could tell right away it was going to rub. I do like flip flops. Still love this brand. Will try another shoe. Arch support average.

I usually can’t wear flips, but loved these, at first. I agree with the other reviewers who said that they stretch. I can walk in them fine on level ground, but going up stairs, the left one always falls off. They stretched a lot. Too bad, because it is a cute, comfortable sandal! I had thought I would order more colors, but guess not...

Amazing Sandal -
I have so much trouble finding my size and finding a cute shoe/sandal at the same time. When I tried these on I was so amazed at how lightweight and flexible they were! They may be pricey, but they last forever and they're definitely good for your feet!

Great for a day.
I am so disappointed with this shoe. When I first put them on they were like heaven and they looked great, but after a day of walking in them, they were flat and stretched so much that they’re hard to keep on now. I'll stick to my Reef flip flops.

Finally a cute shoe that's good for your feet -
I needed to purchase decent "flip flops" as per my podiatrist's orders. I had a really hard time finding a shoe that was good for my feet and cute at the same time. This shoe fits both bills. I wear them constantly and haven't had any problems with my feet. Highly recommended!

Beautiful but far from perfect...
Although I did purchase the right size in this shoe, I am disappointed that the leather seems to have stretched too much. I tried them on in several stores and found them to be very comfortable as they were for the first week or so I owned them. Shortly thereafter, the calfskin leather seemed to stretch too much and although they are still fairly comfortable, they often feel like they are going to slide right off my foot. If I got a size smaller, they'd be too short so I'm stuck with them.

Nice style! I wore them for a weekend in Chicago. Lots of walking. Took me from day to night. The color is a blend - very nice, more towards gold.

I find most walking shoes very doughty but these are very smart looking and are very comfortable on the feet. I love the construction of the shoe; you can wear them with pants, shorts and skirts and they look great! The sizing for me was a little off because they do not come in half sizes. Jumping to the next whole size gave a little more room than I needed, which I thought would be uncomfortable, but they seem to work. I am quite happy with the shoe and would recommend them to anyone looking for a well-constructed, comfortable orthotic shoe. They are a little pricey but well worth every penny!

Comfortable sandal -
This sandal is comfortable and easy to walk with. It tends to run narrow, for those whose foot is a bit wider than average. Cushion and leather thong are soft and subtle.

Great shoes if you're on your feet at lot!
I have never bought Mephisto before, but spend a lot of time on my feet. These shoes were very comfortable almost immediately. The leather is a little stiff initially, but soon softened up. My go to shoe when I know I will be standing or walking a lot. Felt at little narrow, but as I have narrow feet, they were perfect!

Love the color. The sandals fit my foot kind of funky as my toes don't reach the front, so there's quite a bit of white showing. My toes must be on the short side! I kept the sandals though as I was looking for a comfortable flat sandal that works for everyday and is an upgrade from a flip-flop. This pair definitely is.

Great, comfortable sandal!!! After wearing tennis shoes for my job for the last 35 years, my feet are very sensitive to any kind of pressure. These shoes are a dream to wear, not only are they comfortable but they look great on. I have three pairs. When you have a hard time finding the right shoe, you buy in quantities.

Very comfortable - I ordered two colors (chestnut and red) with the intent of sending one back. I kept both. Perfect fit and very comfortable. Not much arch support. Since I wear these around the house and yard, the light colored bed gets dirty quickly. Still glad I kept both.
