Best shoe yet. I love this shoe. It is light weight and soooo comfortable. I especially like the fact that it does not have an ankle collar, instead it has a strong elastic type guard when the collar would be. I hope GoLite continues to make this shoe for a long time. I will be buying more when I wear out the two pair I bought.

Not a good "all around" I was looking for something for steep off-trail terrain (including talus). This shoe has exceptional traction on dirt and mixed soil. Not suitable for any kind of rocky surface though. The spikes and soft rubber give it a squirmy feeling, which caused some balance problems. The traction on rock was also very bad as they slipped on even low-angle slab. I also found it impossible to lock my heel in (may be just my foot) and wound up with heel blisters within a few short miles - something I haven't had in years. For strictly trail, a good shoe. Not suitable for anything more adventurous.
