Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked
Shoe Arch: No arch support
I thought this shoe would be the loafer I have been searching for: "moccasin construction", nice height, squared toe. And Mephisto! So I keep trying it on, hoping it will fit the way it should. But it doesn't. It has no arch support and it is just too wide. Not in the toe, where I want it to be wide, but through the middle. No arch support and too wide? Result is that it will not stay on, and my foot gets all cramped trying to keep it on. I tried an orthotic, which helped with the arch but even an orthotic can't make a shoe narrower. So, sadly, I will send it back. Mephisto, what has happened to you? The other slip-on I ordered (Celerina) has such a narrow toe that my little toe bones are pinched. Sadness!

I have never paid for other than standard (read slow boat) shipping, and have also never failed to receive your deliveries the next day. I can order Sunday online at night, and the shoes will be there Monday before dinner, it’s astounding. All other companies should take their cue from you guys.
