These shoes are sick for skating. The grip is good and the sole has a lot of padding but it took time to get used to because it's so thick. The shoes are the best.

This shoe is awesome. Looks cool, great board feel. Soles become a little thin after a while but still like how it skates.

I got these shoes a couple months ago and they held up great. They have the best board feel and only need like 3 days to break in. The only two problems I found were that your heel hurts after jumping down stairs, and the rubber toe cap wears real thin, but it’s no biggie. Get these Kostons.

Great pair of kicks -
Good shoe overall. Black suede holds up very well, grip is descent, lightweight. The only problem was the insole. It flattens out very quickly causing no shock absorption in the forefoot. Very good heel protection. Had to replace insoles with Nike SB zoom air insoles.

I have had these shoes for a couple of months and they are amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was where the little glued on things on the back peel off easy, but other than that, I like them.

These shoes are great- extremely comfortable, especially when skating, but also for just chillin' and walking around. The only problem I've had is that they rip pretty easily, but that is to be expected with a shoe like this. Overall great though.

Excellent shoe. The vulcanized bottom makes it a very useful skate shoe. Has good ankle support for a lo-top, is comfy, and performs very well on a board.

What can I say this shoe? They are great. I've had them for about a month of hard skating, and they've not ripped through yet. They are really comfortable and they have great boardfeel and flick on your tres. A lot of padding, too. They hold up great. I’m thinking about buying a new pair when these wear out.

My son LOVES these shoes -
We got the Koston Select's for our skateboarding 15 year old and he hasn't taken them off since we bought them. The bamboo detail is very cool (we got the black w/ white detail). He's stylin' at the skate park and at school.

GNAR BOOTS -
Only second to the Howard Selects (by the way the Select series is the greatest release in skate shoe history), these shoes are great. My first pair, I did a lot of heel stopping to avoid the razor tail effect, and that blew em out. But other than that, the shoes were ultra comfy and the nubuck (the ones I first got) skated well, that was my first pair of nubuck not much different from suede though. I’m on my second pair now, the one with the bamboo print on it. They are great, and I plan on just jumping off my board instead of destroying my heel. Overall a good buy and worth the money...

These Shoes are amazing -
I’m a huge Emerica guy, but after seeing Fully Flared, I had to get one more pair of LAKAI. They are amazing. So much board control. Rip a little fast but overall good. Good lookin too. By the way, Fully Flared is the best video ever created. Go watch it.

Koston Select, Wow.
These shoes felt kinda weird when I first put them on. I went out to skate and they had good grip, but they were kinda flat because I usually skate bulky shoes. They felt too big too. Their flick was ok. Overall, I just don't like them.

Great skate shoe -
I purchased these shoes for my son who is an avid skate boarder. He said they were great shoes; really good grip for the board, and nice fit. He wanted me to give the look three stars because he likes a really wide and bulky looking skate shoe and these were a little narrow looking compared to some he has had; not a narrow fit, just not the bulky look he likes. Over all, he likes the shoes a lot.

This shoe is soooooo thin; when ever I do a heel flip or etc my ankle touches the board. Might just be the way I do it, but the suede is really tough.

I have a love hate relationship with vulcanized shoes -
The Kostons have made me love them a bit more. They are thicker than the Theory and Square ones (I’m an eS head, but thought it'd be nice for something different) and seriously skate so amazing. If you've got the money, get these; they don't disappoint.
