This is a perfect shoe and I'd recommend this to everyone I know. The shoe is very comfortable, easy to put on and take off.

These shoes are so good for skateboarding... They are super durable, they have perfect flick, they are super lightweight, they fit perfectly, and they are just awesome. One of the best skateboarding shoes I've ever had. Buy them!

Very nice shoe. Just got dirty easily. Footbed gets thin quick. But still great shoe.

Sick shoes -
These shoes are mad comfortable, I’m definitely getting another pair in a different color. They were snug at first but when you break them in they are really light and fit perfectly maybe after a week or so of use.
Thanks Zappos your one dirty crew! Keep sending me sick shoes.

I got this shoe and it felt great putting it on before breaking it in, and it has just gotten better with time. Underneath the insole, there's this padding called "Equa-Form" that runs from the heel to about the middle of the foot. After that it's cardboard, which molds PERFECTLY to the wearer’s foot. Just don't let any of your friends wear it for the first two to three weeks. For me, when I get a new pair of shoes, they don't normally land the first kickflip I try in them, but with these it was a different story altogether. Landed the first 10 kickflips in a row tried with them and the first 3 tre-flips in a row. But be warned for everyone whose go-to trick is a heelflip: Heelflips are a bit awkward at first. All in all, a VERY good shoe. Lakai or Die!

These are the best shoes I have had in a long time. The rubber is perfect for tre flips and kick flips, it lasts super long and doesn’t wear away. They do, however, run a half size larger.

This shoe is one of my favorites because their mid/vulcanized/comfy/crazy board feel/looks good. The problem is that the top by the toes rips pretty fast but with shoe goo everything can be fixed. Also, you should put extra padding. Oh and it has good arch support.

Best Lakai’s I’ve had.
I think these could possibly be the best Lakai’s ever. Before these I had MJ selects and they were really good too but they didn’t have much side padding and after a month of skating those were trashed but these, are a different story. Since they’re mid tops they have the padding you need for doing gaps and stairs and all sort of things.
I’ve had these shoes for 1 and a half months and the only problem is that the grip is wearing down a lot.
But other than that, they have totally ripped.
I would HIGHLY recommend these shoes for skating.
P.S. THEY look pretty awesome.

The best skate shoe -
This is one of the best skate shoes I've ever had. The laces on the shoes never break and the toe has like four layers and wears very slowly. The bottoms are very flexible, but supportive and they are very easy to break in. All the Lakai Selects are the same and are all great shoes. Buy them!

Awesome shoe -
They hurt your feet the first day, but after walking around in the mall for a while they were very comfy. The best pair of shoes I have EVER skated in. I skate awesome every day and these never seem to rip! I’m so surprised how well they are holding up. The rubber on the side is way worn down from ollies, kickflips, and heelflips. Excellent flick and best grip ever. The only place they ripped was on the top of the tow cap, on the ollie and heelflip protection. I’ve had these shoes for a month now.

Lakai Carrol mid-top vulc.
Man, this is sure to become a classic amongst vulcanized skate shoes. Mid top gives the extra support that shoes like the Vans Rowley Classic lacks. And the extra toe and ollie area material helps, in comparison to many other vulc shoes out there. But, if you're buying these to skate, like I did, rather than buying them to chill or whatever, I'd suggest adding a small insole beneath the one in it, and taking a seam ripper to the extra material on the bottom 2 lace holes on the outsides (to give your laces some extra protection, doesn't look half bad).

Excellent Comfort -
Like most all Lakai shoes these are super comfortable and will last for a long time. They should come with red laces though. They look sick with those - super duper!
