These are the BEST shoes! The footbed is wide and very supportive, and yet still manages to be a great-looking shoe. The straps are in just the right place to hold the shoes on, without putting any pressure across the top of my feet. I haven\'t had any trouble with the straps irritating my toes. I can dress them up or down, and I can wear them all day and my feet feel great. They definitely improve my posture because they help correct my stance. The khaki color is not tan - its more of an olive color.

Love these sandals. I have a lot of foot problems, such as bunions, and these sandals are super comfy with a wider toe area. I wear these walking all the time! Way to go Zappos!

I feel compelled to add my 2 cents about the Earth Cabo, in the hopes that it might help someone who has previously been unsuccessful with this style. I tried 2 pairs of these last year (I usually wear a size 8.5 in most brands). The 8 fit me length-wise, but squeezed my toes something awful. The 9's fit me (width-wise) but I had too much shoe hanging off the toe area and the heel area. I almost gave up, but tried one last time with this year's model. Guess what? The straps are a bit looser this year! Although I don't like the colors as much, for those of you with wide fat toes like myself, this year's Cabo is significantly looser so even chubby toed people can wear them. I ordered an 8 this year, and the fit great!

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. They aren't the most elegant (being chunkier than most women's sandals), but they are extremely well-made and interesting. I bought these shoes for the arch support, in hope of finding some flip-flops that I could wear on vacation without causing lasting pain. They have turned out to be amazing. I wore them exclusively during a one-week trip involving daily, extensive walking and suffered none of the foot or back pain that I get from wearing regular flip-flops (or most any of my shoes). And, the negative heel really did work-out different muscles than usual shoes.

I love all my Earth sandals, and I really like that this is a vegan option. I was a bit concerned beforehand about the textured footbed, but it\'s quite comfortable. Wish there was an adjustable feature because without it the straps are just a tad roomy at first when I switch from other shoes. But overall, very satisfactory, and they are comfortable and great-looking on! The only reason I took one star away overall is that I think the adjustability would have been a wonderul addition.

Love it! The only color available in my size was the lime, which I reluctantly ordered. To my surprise, it was more of a moss green than lime. Instantly comfortable & easy on my back. I have other Earth shoes & like the negative heel. I took it on vacation & wore it for long walks.

This was the second time I tried this style of sandal. The first time they were too wide, this time I tried the plain black and they fit perfect. I have a narrow foot and sometimes the shoes are too wide. I absolutely love earth shoes; they are so comfortable, they are the main type of shoe I have now since they are back (earth shoes were my favorite sandal back in the 70's).

These are real cute flip flops, I have gotten several flattering comments on the style of the straps and the color, I chose the Lime version. I wear a 7.5, so I ordered a 7 hoping that I could get by with it, but alas, it was a little short. Before returning them, I ordered the size 8, so I could compare them side by side. The size 8 worked better; they were a smidge long, but hardly noticeable and straps fit just right. A 7.5 would have been a slightly better fit in length, but the 8 works fine. Hope this helps, from a "nothing but Earth Shoe" fan.

These are the most comfortable summer shoes! They look great with shorts, capri pants and skirts. So much cuter than I thought they would be for "earth" shoes. I cannot tell that they have a lower heel. Nothing to get use to, just pure comfort and great for my lower back!

I wanted to like thes shoes so bad. It\'s not the sole so much but the straps. They were fine for the first day, but rubbed on my toes that it hurt to wear them. But I continued to wear them thinking I would break them in. Didn\'t work. I should have sent them back.

I just love these sandals. They are a little wider then I am used to, so I had to get used to that at first. I find these to be extremely comfortable. I first wore them in the airport where I had a very long walk and had no problems at all. I feel like they make my back straighter when I walk, and you can definitely feel a difference in your legs as you are wearing them.

I LOVE these sandels. I find the Earth shoes very comfortable, but often very ugly. These sandels are comfy and cute! I\'ve gotten a lot of compliments on them. I\'ve got two different colors and next year plan to purchase yet another. My feet are a bit narrow and I do wish they\'d come in a narrow, but it\'s not bad. I need good arch support and these have them. I used to wear almost exclusively Birkenstocks, but they get smelly and old looking pretty quickly. I\'m not a fan of thongs, but these are comfortable between the toes. I can wear them all day!

Very comfortable from the day I put them on. Excellent support. They don't rub or cause irritation like some flip flops do when you first wear them. They took a little getting used to at first because your foot is on a slight incline but it was no big deal. Hey, you're burning calories! Overall, a good quality shoe... and they're vegan! I highly recommend them.

Everything that the local stores cannot provide in a casual sandal--extreme comfort, no soreness between the toes, versatility, and the Earth shoe negative heel. The extra strap across the toes means it's harder to walk out of the sandal, as frequently happens with simple thongs. These are well worth the money.

These are the most comfortable "flip-flop" type of sandals I've ever owned. Ok, possibly they are most comfortable pair of sandals I've ever owned. Can be worn all day long right out of the box. True to size. I will definitely order another pair.

Boy did I want to love these...They are cuter than similar styles by Chaco, etc., and in typical Earth fashion the footbed is fantastic - great support, just fit like a glove. I wear a 9 and the 9's were the perfect length, with a little extra at the top of the toes for those with longer digits. HOWEVER, looking at the style you would think the strap system would distribute the thong pressure, unlike a typical beach thong. Wrong - all the pressure lands on the second toe and cuts into it and the straps along the rest of the foot are functionally loose (though they look good). If you have fleshier feet, the rest of the straps might help, but the second toe may suffer more! These flip like a typical flip flop. So while they look summer fashionable, they are hard to wear for long walking to get the benefits of Earth shoes...
Other brands recommended by reviewer: No brands match the negative heel of Earth... Style wise - Chacos.

I love these sandals- in fact; I have considered buying another pair in another color. I have had so many compliments on them, and they look adorable with anything (shorts, jeans, and even skirts for work). I teach kindergarten and want something comfortable for my long days, and these are awesome. As a half size, the next size up was perfect.

Theyre okay; I do not feel they help much with my heel pain caused by plantar problems. They do exercise your calves, as the night after I wore them for a long time I woke up with leg cramps. They are cute enough for a shoe with support. I am not sure they are worth the money; I keep hoping they will help more than they do. I did find that they are true to size and fit well.

I'm an Earth negative-heel devotee, but I've had problems with their sandals in the past few years because my wide-width foot doesn't work well with their raised-side styling. I ordered this because there are no "ridges" along the sides, and width-wise it is great. It does seem to run slightly small length-wise. Overall, though, the shoe has all the Earth shoe comforts. My only complaints are the plastic footbed is similar to Keens in that it makes the sole of the foot sweat a bit. I'm giving it 3 stars because the manufacturing quality just doesn't seem to be good: the straps toward the heel seem to be separating from the footbed and I'm honestly not sure how long these will last. Seems like Earth's quality has declined in recent years and I hope they can get back to former standards.

I love the Earth Cabo sandal. This is my first experience with negative heel technology, it was akward at first when I wore them but after a couple of days my body adjusted. It has assisted in relieving some low back pain, tight hamstrings, and calves as well. They were recommended by my massage therapist instructor. They are actually working on my posture which is why I purchased them. I would definitely recommend them!!

I love Earth shoes anyway, but these little sandals are just perfect. I needed something fairly waterproof for everyday use, but still comfortable and cute. These fit the bill. I ordered them in khaki so they match most anything. No need to break these in, they are comfy straight from the box. Unless Im wearing something that requires dress shoes, I reach for these every time. The fact that Im getting an extra workout when I wear them is just a plus! Another winning Earth shoe and way-to-go Zappos!

Great shoes, very comfortable! My only advice would be that I usually wear a size 7 shoe and the size 7 just fits my foot. I would consider going a half size or size larger if I purchased again.

Love these shoes. I was looking for a flip flop that would not kill my back and found it. I was hesitant at first due to the price, but it was well worth it. In fact I will be buying more in the future. Had no problem with sizing or fit in the toe area. Would recommend.

 | | Dear Zappos, At a recent work event, someone asked the ice breaker, What product do you believe in so much that you could sell it? My answer, Zappos. I am convinced that I have single-handedly brought your company dozens of new customers because I have pitched your service and selection to women everywhere (especially with difficult sizes!). I cannot express my sincere thanks for the exceptional quality of service and the selection of shoes. Every contact with each sales representative has been exceptional- you have seriously made a great difference my world. I no longer try to squeeze my feet into a size 11 shoe, I found size 12 online and now I walk even taller (I am six feet tall). Much thanks, Diane S. | | ~ Diane S., November 02 2009
