Great light weight shoe -
The shoes are true to size and very comfortable. The light weight is also great. My only issue with them is the laces. They tend to loosen themselves during wear and you have to constantly re-tie them. The traction is great as well.

An okay shoe for those with foot problems...
I have lots of problems with my feet, so finding shoes is a challenge. These are not the best shoes I have found, but they are a close second to my Asics Gel Cumulus 9 and Keen Voyageur (which are tied for best). What I do like about them more than the Asics is that they look more like a hiking shoe and less like a running shoe, which is good on some occasions where tennis shoes are too casual.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Keen Voyageur, Asics Gel Cumulus 9

These shoes were hard at first and hurt my feet but once I got used to them they were wonderful while walking through the sand at the sand dunes, and the water at a waterfall.

Perfect alternative to hiking boots -
Bought as a less bulky alternative to hiking boots for when we travel and am very happy with the weight and look!

I Love these shoes! I got the ones with the pink on them. They are the most attractive sneakers I've seen! I love them!!

Do I have to take them off?
I received these shoes one evening and they had been on my porch waiting for me to come home. The temperature outside was about 2 degrees, needless to say, the shoes were very cold when I unwrapped them! I know that I should have let them warm up before I tried them on, but I couldn't resist, they are so cool looking! I put them on and didn't want to take them off although they were SO COLD! They warmed up, and I didn't want to take them off. Ever. I realized that I couldn't keep them on for ever, and that they wouldn't go with dresses or skirts, but if there is any shoe in my closet that is a "go-to" every day comfort shoe this is it. Now I'm going to have to start trail running!

Great for light hiking!
This shoe feels pretty light your feet, and I love the Vibram soles. They have great tread and grab the trails and road like velcro. Only wish they had sizes in wide, I had to go up half a size for my wide toe box.

I really wanted to like these -
These are a really good looking pair of shoes, but they were just too small in the instep and too narrow in the toe box. If you have a high arch or have a slightly wider foot, these aren't for you.

Completely satisfied -
We were headed to the Olympic Peninsula and I needed a good pair of walking/hiking shoes.
I like this color scheme; it was very neutral and worked with shorts, jeans, etc. Very light weight, my feet felt great by the end of our long days. I even fell in a lake and my shoes were soaked, but it didn't take long for the shoes to dry out. Total satisfaction. Zappos always comes through.

Soggy when wet -
These shoes are very comfortable. Wore them on a 5 mile hike first time out. They are not at all water resistant. My feet got wet walking in grass with dew on it.

Pretty, but uncomfortable -
Materials felt cheap and stiff. There was practically no arch support.

Comfy right out of the box. I wear orthodics, like a roomy toe-box, and have a narrow heel but these shoes fight great! True to size. Only issue is that these are lousy on wet, slick surfaces whether it's rocky or sidewalks. Alternatively these soles are great on dry surfaces. I'm about to buy my second pair just in case TNC stops making this style.

Very comfortable and supportive -
Went on my first hike without breaking them in and found them very comfortable. It was a 10 mile hike over very rocky terrain and not one blister!

Great Shoe!
Fit like a glove. Felt 100% comfortable as soon as I put them on. Good quality. Great brand. Overall, a great buy.

Pretty pleased -
Good shoe for walking and occasional hiking/trekking. I like the light blue undertone, and the shoe is very comfy right out of the box. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of arch support - I removed the insert, and the sole is simply flat. I put in my own jell-like inserts to give me some support.

Almost perfect -
I loved this shoe when I saw it online. Out of the box it looked great (I got the gravel/wheat combo) and felt great. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes of wearing, my right foot started to go numb and the shoe was uncomfortable in the tongue area possibly due to a high instep. No amount of fiddling helped, so I ended going up a 1/2 size. Same problem only now I had slippage in the heel area so definitely too large. It's a real disappointment as the shoes looked great, felt great on my left foot (which is slightly smaller) and I wish I could have kept them. I still think this is a good shoe - just not a good fit for my particular situation.

These shoes have been great! They are flexible and have a lot of grip. They are a little longer in the toe box than expected, but still comfortable. Shoelaces could use some improvement.

Nice hiker -
I like to hike a lot and often end up with sore ankles. These shoes were comfortable and gave really good support. I receive lots of compliments regarding the style.

Great shoe -
This is the most comfortable shoe I have bought in a long. There is no breaking in. Most tennis shoes I buy make my feet hurt or feel tired. These I can wear walking around the block or hiking. I usually can't buy shoes without trying them on first, so I was taking a gamble by buying these off the internet, but I am glad I did.

Great hiking shoe -
I bought this shoe for hiking out west. It felt great right from the start with no break in period. They are ultra-light weight, and have great treads for traction on loose & slippery rocks. They "breathe" nicely, so my foot didn't get too hot. I highly recommend this shoe.
