I purchased these to wear for our choir tour across Europe, thinking they'd be comfortable, sporty, and casual, all while going well with our tour outfit. I wore them for a few hours to a conference and quickly decided there's no way I can wear them, even for a few minutes. They rubbed my heels raw, they slip around too much, and are not adjustable. The non-breathability of the leather is an issue, too. I wish I'd never purchased these. Now I'm stuck with a pair of black shoes that I can never wear.

Very cute, looks great on but I made it less than three blocks after getting out of the car before I was in extreme pain from blisters that formed on my pinky toes from rubbing on the sides -- 3 blocks? I threw the box and return info out thinking that I wouldn't have a problem, but the only way I can wear these now is to put band aids on my feet before I put the shoes on and that's not really comfy. I would only wear these shoes with socks if I was wearing long jeans where you couldn't see the tops of my feet because the shoes don't work with socks. My first and last pair of Keens, I'll stick to Merrells.

These need a better insole -
I own a pair of old Keen mary jane style shoes that are extremely comfortable. These are just not. The insole has no arch support and not much cushion, but, it does pop out easily and accommodates better ones. I am using "happy feet" insoles currently, but plan to go to a running store and buy some others that really would give me all day comfort. I am sad to think that Keens no longer have great insoles, but that is what I am reading in many reviews. My feet are a 7.5, with a high arch and a little wide.

I really like the look of these shoes but they just weren't quite as comfortable as I had hoped and I ended up sending back the black, although I kept the brown. I'm not sure yet that they'll be okay for my 1 mile walk to work everyday. They have an okay arch but room to put in an extra support or take out the inner sole and put in Superfeet. I have a wide foot and felt they were great for me. I don't agree with other reviewers who said to order a half size smaller than usual.

Great Shoe -
This is a very comfortable shoe and I love it. I wore them to a podiatry appt. and the doctor told me they were too soft and did not offer good support. That being said, my feet feel great in them and they don't hurt at the end of the day.

This is my second pair of Keen shoes and I just love their comfort. The color I bought is Chipper, which I like and the Mary Jane style is really cute. This style is more flattering than others I tried on as the sole is not so chunky looking. I got compliments on them the first time I wore them. I usually wear a size 9 but ended up buying these in an 8.5. I also love dealing with Zappos. Their policy of free shipping both ways makes it so easy to try on different shoes and keeps me coming back.

Cute but not enough support - I love the look of these, but I can only wear them for a few hours at a time without my arches hurting. They also tore my ankles up pretty bad the first few weeks along with the top of my foot. I have pretty "active" feet when I walk and the arch support just wasn't even close to enough. Now I only wear them when I know I don't have to be on my feet for long stretches.

These shoes look sick but, I noticed after I had them for awhile they hurt the heel of my foot. I don't know if it was just my foot or if the shoe was just an uncomfortable shoe.

Slightly Disappointed :(
I was dying to buy these shoes for ages and then I finally found a pair in my size and color. I tried on two sizes and both felt comfortable in bare feet, but the sales lady suggested I go with the larger size. I got them home and wore them out (barefoot) for ten minutes and by the time I got back inside my ankles were torn to shreds! Three weeks later, the cuts still haven't fully healed and it is still too warm to go without socks, so the jury is out on whether they were a major waste of money or not! I really hope they work out- they are SUPER adorable!

Not quite -
I ignored other reviews and ordered my size. It definitely felt at least a half size larger than marked, and is a very wide shoe. The closure is elastic and non adjustable. Although I thought it was really cute, I decided not to order a smaller size because I felt it would still be too wide and loose.

A good shoe -
I was looking for a comfortable Mary Jane. I love the Sienna, but wanted something in black. The Barcelona was the next best choice. I have very painful feet, so comfort the moment I put it on is a must. Although not as soft and comfortable as the Sienna, it is a close second. It is more sturdy and rigid than the Sienna. My thin 3/4 orthodic works great, too.

I think the "order a half-size smaller" advice is right-on.
These are quite comfortable, even though they feel a smidge too big on my feet (next time, I'll follow others' advice and go down a half-size). The day I got them, I wore them to a concert where I was on my feet all night, and my feet never hurt or got so much as a blister. A few weeks later, I wore them on a trip to NYC where I was walking all day, every day, and they proved great for that, too. This is my first pair of Keens, and I'll very likely be trying another pair next time I'm looking for something like these.

I originally ordered these half a size smaller as per recommendations and ended up re-ordering my actual size. It's a big wide, but not so much that it makes it difficult to walk; it just makes them comfortable. Very cute, comfy shoe and I get lots of compliments. Only con is that they don't breathe so well in the heat and the sole is somewhat hard, but an insole helped with both problems. I love them!

Fun red Keens -
The shoes look great and I've gotten comments on them from other people about how cool they are. They are comfortable enough in how they feel when I'm just standing. I just think that they look/feel a little funky when I walk. I'm not so into the strap that doesn't go straight across.

A bit too wide -
The shoes are sooo cute, but my feet are sooo narrow. I put my orthotics in them and heel cushions and they are still kind of wide. I may try wearing them with tights this fall. If a B-width is kind of iffy for you, try Keens on in the store first.

Keen needs to work on quality control -
I ended up trying several pairs of these shoes in the same size (different colors) and each one fit differently. I think Keen needs to work on that. I don't find the shoes to be amazingly comfortable - maybe I just didn't hit the exact perfect pair (the one that was the wrong color fit the best, of course!). I wore them on a trip and had to buy a couple different sets of padding inserts before I got them to not rip up the back of my heel. With the extra padding and more breaking-in, they've gotten to be better, but I don't know if I would buy another pair of Keens - I would definitely allow time for size exchanges if I tried it. The look is a little bit earth-motherly to me, but can be cute with the right outfit.

This shoe is terrific. I think I've worn them just about every day since I purchased them (about 2 wks now). I've worn them mostly w/o socks and they are very comfortable w/o any slippage or blistering. I ordered my size and they fit perfectly. I also purchased a pair of the Sienna ballet slipper in the same size. They required a bit more breaking in, I needed to wear a heel blister bandage to prevent chafing, but that was resolved after about 3 days of sockless wearing.
Both shoes are great if you find yourself on your feet a lot during the day.

Great everyday shoe -
I wear these shoes almost every day. They're very comfy and go with jeans, sweats, etc. I also love that I can slip them on and go without having to worry about laces. I have them in two colors. I highly recommend them.

So comfortable... like slippers -
I commute on foot. I walk an average of 2 miles a day and have found these shoes to be great. They were incredibly comfortable, right out of the box. There was no "breaking-in" time and no blisters. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller as recommended and it's a perfect fit, though it should be noted that I wear them sockless or with tights/stockings. They would be long enough, but not wide enough, to accommodate thicker socks. They're also super cute!!! They can be dressed up or down. As always Zappos was awesome. I received my order within 24 hours!!!

Marvelous MJs!
I LOVE these shoes! I have a pair of the RYKA Versas, which I also love, but they have velcro that wears out after awhile. I wanted to try these to avoid the velcro problem and they deserve all of the raves they have gotten! True to fit (order down 1/2 size). Comfortable from the get-go. After a few days of owning them, I taught kids ALL DAY on my feet and felt great!

Great, but not good for thick socks plus rec'd insole -
I love those cushy Thorlos socks Zappos sells, but these shoes do really need a nice insole for arch support & padding and that makes the space in the shoe snug for wearing thicker socks. Other than that caveat, I'm really happy with these guys and the apple is such a happy color.

Worth every penny -
I was told about these shoes by a district manager for my company. I am a hairstylist and, as you know we are on our feet pretty much all day long. I needed a shoe that was comfortable without the orthopedic look. These shoes are perfect if you are on your feet. I couldn't believe that I could order a shoe online and have it fit right. As stated in other reviews you should order a half size smaller. I have a wide foot and was concerned about this. I am glad I listened to the reviews; I was able to start wearing my shoes the next day when they came in. That’s right they did come the next day as stated. This is a great convenience for me. I will be purchasing another pair this month; again they are worth every penny!!!!!

Love It -
This is such a nice shoe. It's very light, very comfortable right out of the box, and my usual size 8 fit perfectly. I wear it barefoot or with light socks, but could wear slightly heavier socks with it. It has support and I'd say moderate arch support; not as much over-all support as the Presidio, but that really is a sturdy walking shoe. You can walk a lot in this, too (and I am a walker). Also makes your foot look small and very dainty. Yet the toe box is roomy enough to be completely comfortable. They remind me of traditional Chinese shoes, a great design. My heel stays in and doesn't slip out. Just wore it for Christmas Eve dinner (with bright pink socks) with friends. Forgot I had them on, just like slippers with an outdoor sole and inner Keens support. Am tempted to buy another pair. That says it all.
